Objective To observe the effects of low dose irradiation (LDI) on autoiogous CIK cell proliferation, phenotype and killing activity in tumor patients, and to provide the evidence for clinical application of adoptive immunotherapy with CIK cells. Methods Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) were separated from 10 patients with malignant tumor, and CIK cells were cultured with different cytokines. (1) After 10 d culture, C1K cells were irradiated with different doses as 30, 50, 80, 100 and 200 Gy of X-rays was also detected. The CIK cell proliferation and killing activity were measured with 3H-TdR incorporation assay and 3H-TdR release assay, respectively and the percentage variation of CD3 +CD56 + were measured with flow cytometry after 24 h. ( 1 ) Autologous CIK cells were irradiated with 80 mGy X-rays. At different culture time ( 12, 24, 48, 72 h) after irradiation, the killing activity was measured with 3H-TdR release assay. (3) The effect of 3d low dose irradiation of 80 mGy X-rays on thekilling activity of CIK cells was also detected. Results After the CIK cells were irradiated with different doses as 50, 80, 100, 200 mGy of X-rays, the CPM values were 20 048.6 ± 2332. 2 ( t = 2.2, P ＜0.05), 21 832.2 ±2975.9 (t=3.5, P＜0.01), 21 000.3 ±2451.1 (t=3.3, P＜0.01), 19908.1 ±2051.0 ( t = 2.2, P ＜ 0.05 ), respectively and the proliferation of CIK cells were significantly higher than that of control group. The CD3 + CD56 + cell percentage of 50, 80, 100 mGy groups were ( 30.3 ±3.8)% (t=2.3, P＜0.05), (32.3±3.4)% (t=4.2, P＜0.01), (29.742.9)% (t = 2.4, P＜0.05 ), respectively. The killing activity of CIK cells of 80, 100 mGy groups were 55.2 ± 5.0 ( t = 3.3, P ＜ 0.01 ), 52.8 ± 4.1 ( t = 2.3, P ＜ 0.05 ), respectively. The killing activity of CIK cells up-regulated significantly at 24 h, dropped to normal levels at 48 h and 72 h. After 80 mGy X-ray irradiation for 3 consecutive days, the killing activity of CIK cells at different time points were 55.2 ± 5.3 (t = 2.6, P ＜0.05),61.9 ± 4.4 (t = 4.7, P ＜0.01), 67.2 ±5.7 (t = 5.7, P ＜0.01) for 24, 48, 72 h,respectively. Conclusions LDI might have the hormesis effect on CIK cells.

Objective To investigate changes ane clinical significance of renal pathomorphology ane transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1 ),connective tissue growth factor(CTGF)of rats with eifferent stages of eiabetes mellitus(DM). Methods Thirty-six SD rats were raneomly eivieee into control ane DM group. Rats in DM group were given streptozotocin(STZ)at a eose of 65 mg/ kg boey weight ane rats in control group were given same amount citric acie/ soeium citrate buffer solution. Rats were killee at 4th,12th ane 24th weeks after DM moeels establishment. The renal hyeroxyproline concentration(HPC)was measuree. Masson′s trichrome was performee to observe perivascular collagen area(PVCA). Glomerular collagen eeposition score(GCDS),tubular interstitial eisease score(TIDS)in kieney interstitial tissue were measuree. Immunohistochemical staining were usee to measure the expression of type Ⅰ ane Ⅲ collagen,TGF-β1 ,CTGF. Renal path morphology change were observee with light microscope ane transmission electron microscope. Objective To discuss the establishment of gastric ulcer liver depression syndrome rat model and the therapeutical effects of electroacupuncture. Methods As the result of Open-field experimental method, 60 SPF male SD rats were selected as experimental animals. After 7 days of adaptive feeding, 60 rats were randomly divided into blank group, model group, model control group, and electoracupuncture group, 15 rats in each group. Except for the blank group, the other three groups were stimulated by chronic unpredictable stimulation to establish rat depression model. Then model control group was once again stimulated by chronic unpredictable stimulation for 13 days;electoracupuncture group was treated at Gan Shu (BL18) and Liang Qiu (ST34) acupoints for 13 days. General state of rats, Open-field experimental results and gastric ulcer index were observed. BDNF was measured by RT-PCR. GAS content was measured by ELISA. Results After modeling for 21 days, except for the blank group, the other three groups appeared listlessness, limb weakness, and fur dry and lose luster, appetites reduced, etc. After modeling for 34 days, compared with model group, model control group had more severe general state than model group. After acupuncture treatment, the general state of acupuncture group was improved. The horizontal and vertical activity sore in model group decreased significantly compared with the blank group (P<0.01). Compared with the model group, the horizontal and vertical activity sore in model control group decreased significantly (P<0.05), and increased significantly in the electroacupuncture group (P<0.01). Ulcer index in the model group increased significantly compared with the blank group (P<0.01). Ulcer index in the model control group increased significantly compared with the model group (P<0.01). Ulcer index in electroacupuncture group decreased significantly (P<0.01). BDNF mRNA expression in hippocampus of model group decreased significantly compared with the blank group (P<0.01). Compared with model group, the BDNF mRNA expression in hippocampus of model control group decreased significantly (P<0.05). The BDNF mRNA expression in the electroacupuncture group increased significantly (P<0.01). The GAS content in the model group increased significantly compared with the blank group (P<0.01). Compared with the model group, the GAS content in the model control group increased significantly (P<0.05). The GAS content in the electroacupuncture group decreased significantly (P<0.05). Conclusion The establishment of depressive rat gastric ulcer model which combining disease and syndrome together proves the feasibility of this animal experimental model. Electroacupuncture for Gan Shu (BL18) and Liang Qiu (ST34) can improve the efficacy of this model.

Objective To investigate the value of urine liver?type fatty acid?binding proteins(L?FABP) for early diagnosis and progress predicting of acute kidney injury(AKI)after lung transplantation. Methods Urine L?FABP and Scr blood samples in perioperative periods of 119 lung transplant recipients (hospitalized between 2013?2014)were involved in the research. Patients were divided into AKI group and non?AKI group according to KDIGO. Changes in urine L?FABP and Scr of two groups at various time points were recorded. Results Of 119 patients,57 developed AKI after surgery. Urine L?FABP from 0 h to 48 h in the two groups increased significantly, and the difference at 6 h to 48 h between the two groups is significant. In terms of diagnostic value,ROC area of urine L?FABP at 6h is 0.818. When 2254.52 ng/mg Cr was taken as diagnostic dividing line ,sensitivity and specificity was 0.782 and 0.814. In predicting AKI progression ,AUC below AUC of urine L?FABP 0.852. When 4313.17 ng/mgCr was taken as diagnostic dividing line ,sensitivity and specificity was 0.867 and 0.700. Conclusion Urinary L?FABP appears to be a sensitive and specific marker of AKI in lung transplant recipients ,could be a biological marker in the early diagnosis and progression tendency of AKI.

Objective To study the solute clearance effect of the new concentrated anticoagulation hemodiaiysate of citrate for hemodialysis in patients with high risk of bleeding. Methods Forty-two kidney failure patients with high risk of bleeding were divided into two groups (Group A and Group B) according to their hemodialysis manners. Patients in Group A were hemodialyzed with bicarbonate hemodialysate with low-molecular-weight heparin (dalteparin) anticoognlation and those in Group B with the new citrate antieoagnlation hemodialysate prepared in our hospital without any other anticoagulant. Blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine (Cr) concentrations were measured before and after dialysis, and Kt/V and urea reduction rate (URR) were calculated. In addition, activated clotting time (ACT) and ionized calcium (iCa2+) concentration were also measured at the arterial and venous ends. Results ACT was extended and iCa2+ concentration decreased significantly at the venous end compared with those at the arterial end in Group B (P<0.01). BUN and Cr concentrations were markedly decreased after dialysis compared with those before dialysis in both groups (P<0.01), and no significant difference in solute clearance effect, as indicated by Kt/V and URR, was observed between Group A and Group B (P>0.05). Conclusion The solute clearance effect of the new concentrated anticoagnlation hemodialysate of citrate is excellent during hemodiaiysis in kidney failure patients with high risk of bleeding.

Objective To compare the difference of the results of the total flavones acquired by three kinds of quantitative an-alytical methods in the People's Republic of China Pharmacopoeia(method A),Health Food Function Components and Health Indica-tors Inspection Specifications(method B),and Health Food Inspection and Evaluation of Technical Specifications(method C)respec-tively. Methods Twenty-one drug and food homologies,medicines and other samples were detected by using the above mentioned methods respectively. Comparisons of the results were established. Results The measured values by method A were the highest,that of method C were the lowest. Moreover,the determination values of method A were higher than those by the methed B(1.4 ± 0.12) times,and the method C(2.1±0.31)times. Conclusion There are significant differences among the results of the total flavonoids de-terminated by the 3 methods in the same sample and the numerical relationship will be helpful for the quantity control of homologous food and drug.

OBJECTIVETo explore the analgesic effect and action mechanism of electroacupuncture (EA) on gastric ulcer rats with liver-depression syndrome.

METHODSThrough open-field experimental method, 45 qualified SPF-grade male SD rats were selected and divided into a blank group, a model group and an EA group according to random number table method, 15 rats in each group. The model of gastric ulcer rats with liver-depression syndrome was established in the model group and the EA group by using chronic unpredictable stimulation combined with acetic acid burning method. Rats in the blank group did not receive intervention. Rats in the model group were treated with fixation and immobilization for 13 days. Rats in the EA group were treated with EA at "Liangqiu" (ST 34) and "Ganshu" (BL 18); EA voltage was 2 V; disperse-dense wave was selected with 4 Hz of disperse wave and 15 Hz of dense wave, and the intensity of EA was according to the slight vibration of local skin and; muscles; the needles were retained for 20 min, once a day for consecutive 6 days; there was an interval of 1 day' and the treatment was given for 2 weeks. The general condition, open-field experimental result and gastric ulcer index were observed; the western blotting method was applied to measure the expression of vanilloid receptor subtype 1 (VR1) in hypothalamus and gastric antral mucosal, and ELISA method was applied to test the expression of 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) and norepinephrine (NE) in hippocampus.

RESULTSAfter model establishment, the general behavior condition in the model group was inferior to that in the blank group, which was obviously improved after EA. The range of motion in the model group was less than that in the blank group (P<0.01) while that in the EA group was higher than that in the model group (P<0.01). The ulcer inhibition rate was. 54.95%, and the ulcer index in the EA group was lower than that in the model group (P<0.01). Compared with; the blank group, the expression of VR1 in hypothalamus and gastric antral mucosal in the model group was increased (P<0.05); compared with the model group, the expression of VR1 in the EA group was reduced (P<0.05). Compared with the blank group, the expression of 5-HT an NE in hippocampus in the model group was significantly reduced (both P<0.01); compared with the model group, the expression of 5-HT and NE in the EA group was increased (both P<0.01).

CONCLUSIONEA at "Liangqiu" (ST 34) and "Ganshu" (BL 18) has certain analgesic effect in gastric ulcer rats with liver-depression syndrome, which is likely to be related with lowering the contents of VR1 in hypothalamus and gastric antral mucosal and increasing the content of 5-HT and NE in hippocampus.

Current studies show that postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy (PORT)may improve local control and overall survival for Ⅲ A-N2 NSCLC.With modern radiotherapy technology and techniques,the adverse effect of PORT is moderate and tolerated.Besides,modern PORT doesn′t decrease the survival.Inves-tigation concerning postoperative target volume for PORT is rare,so that definite agreement has not been reached.Available informations suggest that clinical target volume should include bronchial stump,involved lymph nodes,ipsilateral hilar nodes,subcarinal nodes and ipsilateral lower paratracheal nodes.
