Oseteogenic sarcoma is a kind of malignanttumor of bone, it can occur at any age, teenagersare mose commonly involved. The conventionaltreatment of osteogenic sarcoma was high amputa-tion. Although the primary focuses were removedtotaliy, the subclinical minor focuses could not becontrolled effectively. Therefore. the prognosiswas very poor, the five-year survival rate was on-ly about 20 percent. With the rapid development inchemotherapy and orthopedical surgery tech-niques, multimodality therapy of osteogenic sarco-ma were carried out in 65 cases from 1982 to 1988in our hospital. Curative effect has been satisfac-torily improved. The fivc-year survival rate hasbeen raised to 67. 92%. The methods of multi-modality therapy were as follows: ①Peroperationand postoperation chemotherapy with p?liod ofbody. ②Local arteries were perfused with Nitero-gen mustard (HN_2). ③Inactivation of tumor celland replantation. ④Inactivation of tumor cells invivo. ⑤Amputation.

Objective To compare the clinical effects of endoscopic saphenous vein harvesting and traditional surgical management in coronary artery bypass grafting(CABG).Methods Between march 2007 to June 2008,215 patients underwent CABG.Among them,87 patients underwent endoscopic saphenous vein harvesting.At the same time,128 cases were managed by traditional ways.Results The cases were foUowed up for 1-17 months.Endoscopic great saphenous vein harvesting was superior to traditional management in the healing of wound infection,relief of pain,improvement of edema and skin feeling(P＜0.05).Conclusion Endoscope saphenous vein harvesting is an efficient technique for CABG which is characterized by less trauma and fewer wound complications,and will not influcence the function of vein as well.On the other hand,the satisfaction is improved.

5srRNA was isolated and purified from the reticulocytes of rabbit. It labeled with ~(125)I, then incubated with mouse myeloma cells (SP2/0). By autoradiography it was observed that ~(125)I-SsrRNA could pass into the nuclei of the cells. In a separate experiment, it showed that the incorporation rate of ~3H-TdR into nuclei of SP2/0 after incubation with 5srRNA was decreased as compared with that f control group, hence the result indicates that 5srRNA inhibits DNA synthesis of the SP2/0 cells and it seems to play a role in the regulation of gene expression through its hybridization with DNA sequences of the SP2/0 cells. Thus it is likely that 5srRNA might act as "erythroid denucleation factor".

The present study reported that 5srRNA from reticulocytes of rabbit could pass into the nucleus of mouse myeloma cells SP2/0,and in the mean time DNA synthesis and cells division were markedly suppressed. In a separate experiment, the rRNA was extracted from embryonic liver and erythrocytes of rabbit or rat and analysed by agarose electrophoresis method. The result indicated that the amount of 5srRNA in various period of the development of erythrocyte is changed along with denucleation process. Thus it is likely that 5srRNA of mammalian erythrocyte plays a role in reversing malignant phenotype of tumor cells and promoting denucleation of mammalian erythrocyte through inhibiting DNA synthesis.

Objective To compare the perioperative safety and curative effects oflaparoscopic adrenal sparing surgery (ASS) with laparoscopic total adrenalectomy (TA) for aldosterone producing adenoma (APA).Methods An online systematical retrieval was performed with Pubmed,ScienceDirect,Springerlink,the Cochrane library,CNKI and China Biology Medicine disc for clinical comparative studies published before May 2016,these studies reported the treatment of ASS/partial adrenalectomy (PA) versus TA for APA.The selected studies were applied to Revman 5.3 software for meta-analysis.The main contents were perioperative outcomes (operative time,intra-operative blood loss,and length of hospital stay) and postoperative efficacy (cure rate,partial response rate,inefficiency rate).Results A total of 9 clinical studies (3 English documents and 6 Chinese documents) with 1036 patients were included into the final analysis,among which 544 patients were assigned to ASS group and 492 in TA group.The analyzed results demonstrated no statistical significance between ASS group and TA group on operative time (WMD:-2.09min,95％CI:-9.86-5.67,P=0.60),length of hospital stay (WMD:-0.10d,95％CI:-0.32-0.12,P=0.36),intra-operative blood loss (WMD:1.13ml,95％CI:-8.86-11.12,P=0.82),cure rate (OR=l.07,95％CI:0.73-1.58,P=0.72),partial response rate (OR=0.85,95％CI:0.57-1.27,P=0.43) and inefficiency rate (OR=2.15,95％CI:0.32-14.34,P=0.43).Conclusion For surgical treatment of APA,ASS is technically safe,can achieve reliable postoperative efficacy and a similar therapeutic effect compared with TA,so deserves further application in clinical practice.

BACKGROUND: Most patients with posterior pelvic and sacroiliac metastasis are terminally ill. Their treatment is usually palliative and directed toward relieving pain and improving the quality of life with the least possible intervention.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the possibility of percutaneous CT-guided fixation of sacroiliac joint with cannulated lag screw treatment for pathologic pain of sacroiliac joint.DESIGN: Preoperative and postoperative auto-control clinical trial was conducted.SETTING and PARTICIPANTS: The study was completed in Ningbo Sixth Hospital. Eight patients(4 males and 4 females, aged 12 years to 83 years)with metastatic tumor of sacroiliac joint were selected for our study.METHODS: After treatment with percutaneous CT-guided fixation of sacroiliac joint with cannulated lag screw, the sacroiliac joint of the 8 patients became pathologically unstable. Enneking pain scale was obtained preoperatively and postoperatively.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Pain recovery was assessed preoperatively and postoperatively.RESULTS: After 2. 5 years' follow-up, pain of the patients was relieved with a range of 0 to 5(mean 3.2).CONCLUSION: Percutaneous cannulated lag screws with CT guidance help alleviate the patients' pain due to pathologically unstable sacroiliac joint.

In order to show the development situation and trend in plaque research, Thomson Innovation Platform-covered application of patents associated with plaque researches was quantitatively analyzed using the Thomson Data Analyzer and Thomson Innovation or other tools, which revealed the overall development situation, the main accepted countries, the main application institutions and the technological direction layout of patents associated with plaque researches.

Objective To compare the clinical efficacy and radiologic changes between constrained and non-constrained titanium plate in anterior cervical corpectomy and fusion (ACCF) in elderly cervical spondylosis patients.Methods A total of 58 elderly cervical spondylosis patients who underwent ACCF were divided into group 1 (patients treated with constrained titanium plates,n =30) and group 2 (patients treated with non-constrained titanium plates,n=28).The Japanese Orthopedic Association (JOA) score,fusion rate,the loss of segmental height and cervical lordosis were recorded.The clinical efficacy and imaging features were compared between the two groups.Results The improvement rate of JOA score had no significant differences between group 1 and group 2 [(77.7±18.6)％ vs.(75.8±23.2)％,t=0.340,P＞0.05].At 3 months after operation,the fusion rate was higher in group 2 than in group 1 (89.3％ vs.63.3％,x2 =5.327,P＜0.05).At 3,6 and 12 months after operation,there were no significant differences in the loss of segmental cervical height and lordosis between group 1 and group 2 [(2.42±3.05)mm vs.(0.98±2.86)mm,(3.95±3.65)mm vs.(2.34±2.97)mm,(3.60±4.33)mm vs.(2.40±2.96)mm,(1.64±2.33)° vs.(0.66 ± ±2.14)°,(2.13∧±±3.79)° vs.(0.70±2.99)°,(2.39±4.26)° vs.(0.86±3.25)°,respectively,all P ＞0.05].Conclusions The clinical efficacy is similar in ACCF with the two types of titanium plates.The non-constrained titanium plate can increase the fusion rate in early time,but may aggravate the loss of segmental cervical height and lordosis,which should be used with caution in elderly osteoporosis patients.

Objective We analyzed the epidemiological survey results of brucellosis in Qinghai Province to study the distribution of area,population and occupation of brucellosis in human.Methods In accordance with The Project of Central Tansfer Local Public Health Funds-Detailed Rules for Human Brucellosis Control in Qinghai Province in 2014,one city and 9 counties were chosen to carry out the human brucellosis investigation which focused on the people closely contacted with animals and their produces in Qinghai Province;then serological test was done with the methods of Rose Bengal plate agglutination test (RBPT) and standard tube agglutination test (SAT);diagnosis was based on Diagnostic Criteria for Brucellosis (WS 269-2007).Results A total of 3 083 people in the 9 counties and 1 city were investigated;totally infected people was 96,the infection rate was 3.11％;the number of patients was 46,and the prevalence rate was 1.49％.Forty-six new cases were confirmed.The gender,age distributions of the infection rate and prevalence rate were not significantly different (x2 =1.766,2.236,11.053,10.160,all P ＞ 0.05).The occupational distribution:pastoralist was the highest,accounting for 73.91％ (34/46);ethnic distribution:Tibetan was the highest,accounting for 73.91％ (34/46).In addition to Maqin,other counties had brucellosis patients.Conclusions Prevalence of human brucellosis in Qinghai Province is active in some local areas.We should strengthen health education and professional intervention in occupational populations;to improve people's ability in prevention and control of the disease,further investigation and analysis of the source of infection and risk factors in areas where infected persons and patients on the rise are needed,and make progress in control of human brucellosis outbreaks in Qinghai Province.

Objective To investigate the reference interval of platelet‐related parameters including mean platelet volume (MPV) ,platelet distribution width (PDW) ,platelet hematocrit (PCT) .Methods Used Sysmex XN‐9000 assembly line and PEN‐TRA 120 hematology analyzer to analysis the venous blood cells for 3 415 cases of 16 to 90 years old physical examination personnel in Mianyang Central Hospital ,the platelet‐related parameters results of 2 718 standard healthy population by screening were statis‐tically analyzed .Results Platelet‐related parameters 95% reference interval (2 .5% -97 .5% ) of XN assembly line :M PV 9 .9-14 . 7 fL ,PDW 11 .2% -24 .3% ,PCT 0 .15% -0 .30% ;Platelet‐related parameters of 95% reference interval of PENTRA 120:MPV 8 .4-12 .7 fL ,PDW 13 .8% -24 .8% ,PCT 0 .12% -0 .26% ;comparison between the instruments :MPV ,PDW ,PCT results showed significant differences (P<0 .05);comparison between men and women :PCT test results of XN assembly line were differ‐ent (P<0 .05) ,MPV ,PDW ,PCT results of PENTRA 120 were different (P<0 .05);comparison between age groups :PCT result of all ages between men and women were different in XN assembly line (P<0 .05) ,in PENTRA 120 ,MPV ,PDW ,PCT results be‐tween ages were different in men (P<0 .05) ,PCT results between ages were different in women (P<0 .05) .Conclusion Each la‐boratory should establish the laboratory supporting biological reference interval of platelet‐related parameters based on different in‐struments ;in practical applications ,should set the reference interval for different gender or age .
