Chinese Journal of Applied Physiology 2015;31(2):123-126
OBJECTIVETo observe the effect of Oxymatrine on left cardiac function and ventricular remodeling in rabbits after acute myocardial infarction.
METHODSLigation of the left anterior descending artery was adopted to establish acute myocardial infarction model, forty eight rabbits were randomized into the sham operation group, model group and Oxymatrine group. Eight models were successfully established in each group. the sham operation group and model group were given conventional feed. Oxymatrine were gavage administration 0.5 ml/100 g, once a day, lasted for 4 weeks. Respectively in postoperative week, and three weeks, to observe the Oxymatrine on cardiac output (CO), left ventricular end systolic pressure (LVESP), left ventricular end-diastolic pressure (LVEDP), left indoor pressure change rate peak (dp/dtmax)), and left ventricular cavity internal diameter (D), ventricular weight index (VWI), ventricular weight (VW).
RESULTSLeft ventricular anterior wall was from red to deep purple, electrocardiogram showed II guide ST-segment camber up ≥ 0.25 mv. Postoperative week in Oxymatrine group compared with model group, LVESP increased significantly (P < 0.01), LVEDP decreased obviously (P < 0.01); After three weeks in Oxymatrine group compared with model group, VW, VWI decreased (P < 0.05), D significantly reduced (P < 0.01); LVESP increased significantly (P < 0.01), LVEDP decreased obviously (P <0.01); dp/dt(max), CO increased (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONAfter acute myocardial infarction in rabbit Oxymatrine can improve the left ventricular reconstruction parameters, increase cardiac output, and improve cardiac function.

The counterpart support by urban hospitals to rural hospitals is an important measure of the healthcare reform and health poverty alleviation, especially useful for reform of county-level public hospitals.A study of the policy development and an analysis on the development status quo of 16 county-level public hospitals following their acceptance of such support in Hunan and Hubei province, confirmed the practical significance of such counterpart support. The authors also found defects in personnel training, technology innovation and policy fine-tuning, in need of improvements.

Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2021;30(2):68-70
In recent years, the development and widespread application of transcriptome sequencing (RNA-seq) technology has provided powerful tools for direct sequencing and identification of possible fusion transcripts. With the increase in reports of large caese about RNA-seq, the real fusion gene map of hematological malignancies revealed by RNA-seq is becoming clearer. This article introduces the related research progress in conjunction with the reports at the 62nd American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting.

To study the related substances in nicergoline, electrospray positive ionization high resolution TOF/MS was used for the determination of the accurate mass and elemental composition of the related substances. Triple quadrupoles tandem MS/MS was employed for the determination of the fragmentations of the parent ions. 16 related substances were detected and identified to be eight synthetic by-products and eight degradation products, by using impurity references matching, product mass spectra fragmentations elucidation, and verified further according to synthetic processes and stress testing results. The results obtained are valuable for nicergoline manufacturing process control and quality assurance.

Objective To investigate cell proliferation and invasiveness of cervical cancer HeLa229 cell after knockdown of NF-?B signaling pathway by P65 siRNA.Methods RNA interference was employed for specific inhibition of the expression of P65.HeLa229 cell was divided into transfected group and untransfected group.Cell viability was detected by MTT after the HeLa229 cells were transfected with or without P65 siRNA for 24,48,72 h.The sensitivity to 5-Fu of the HeLa229 cell, transfected with or without P65 siRNA,was evaluated also by MTT.Boyden chamber experiment in vitro was used to detect the invasion of HeLa229 cell. Results P65 siRNA inhibited the cell proliferation as compared with the untransfected cells.Proliferations of both cells transfected with and without P65 siRNA were inhibited in a concentration-dependent manner, while at the same concentration of 5-Fu the viability of transfected HeLa229 cells was significantly suppressed(P

Objective To investigate the value of wide-detector Revolution CTA with 70 kV tube voltage and prospective ECG-gated technique in diagnosis of congenital heart disease (CHD) in infants and children. Methods Forty-five infants and children with complicated CHD underwent echocardiography and wide-detector Revolution CTA.According to the sur gical findings, the diagnostic efficiency of Revolution CTA and echocardiography were calculated and compared. The radiation effective dose (ED) and iodine dose were calculated. The quality of CT images was also evaluated. Results There were 25 separate cardiovascular anomalies including 6 congenital cardiac structure anomalies and 19 congenital extracardiac vascular anomalies. For congenital extracardiac vascular anomalies, there was significant difference of diagnostic accuracy and the detectable rate between CTA (99.77% [853/855],97.73% [86/88]) and echocardiography (98.71% [844/855],88.64% [78/88];x2 =6.28,5.72,both P<0.05).The average of ED was (0.20±0.05)mSv and the mean iodine dose was (2.06± 1.09)g.All CT images were qualified for diagnosis. Conclusion The wide-detector Revolution CTA,with the prospective ECG-gated technique and 70 kV tube voltage, can provide high accuracy for assessment of CHD in infants and children, which can keep good image quality, with the low radiation dose.

Objective To explore the diagnosis value of X-ray breast imaging reporting and data system (BI-RADS) combined with wire-guided localization biopsy for breast microcalcifications in impalpable breast cancer. Methods 192 palpation negative patients with 205 microcalcification lesions were detected by mammography. All lesions were classified according to BI-RADS descriptors for calcification and were categorized by the BI-RADS.The patients with BI-RADS category 4a and above underwent X-ray positioning guide wire-guided biopsy and pathological diagnosis. Results In 205 microcalcification lesions,74 (36.1%) were malignant lesions,131 (63.9 %) were less than benign lesions. The positive predictive value of malignant breast lesions in clustered, segmental, regional linear branching calcifications were higher [83.3 % (5/6),100.0 % (11/11),100.0 % (1/1)],followed by clustered, linear, segmental, regional pleomorphic calcifications [55.9 % (38/68),50.0 % (1/2),40.0 % (8/20) and 33.3 % (4/12),respectively].The positive predictive values of malignant in linear branching calcifications and pleomorphic calcifications were significantly higher than those of coarse heterogeneous calcifications, amorphous or indistinct calcifications (x2 values were 34.44,51.87,16.71,29.86,all P < 0.05).The linear branching calcification had the highest possibility. The proportions of malignant lesions in four different types of glands were extremely dense 40.5 % (30/74),heterogeneously dense 39.2 % (29/74),scattered areas of fibroglandular density 10.8 % (8/74) and fat 9.5 % (7/74),respectively.Conclusions BI-RADS categorization for breast microcalcification lesions can improve the detection rate of impalpable breast cancer.Linear branching calcification has higher predictive value for malignant lesions.Dense breast is the risk factors of breast cancer, which should be attached great importance.
