Objective To explore the dynamic changes of collagen type Ⅰand Ⅳ messenger ribonucleic acid(mRNA)expression in the lung tissue of neonatal rats after inhaling high concentration of oxygen and the role of collagen type Ⅰand Ⅳ mRNA in chronic lung disease(CLD)induced by hyperoxia. Methods Full-term newborn rats were grouped according to inhale the concentration of oxygen into hypero-xia group and air control group after birth within 12 hours.Lung histological section at day 1,3,7,14 and 21 in 2 groups were prepared for hematoxylin-eosin staining and the detection of mRNA level of collagen type Ⅰand Ⅳ by in situ hybridization. The results were analyzed with SPSS 11.0 software. Results Compared with air control group, inflammation response was seen in early stage, the arrest of lung development was evident after 7 d of oxygen exposure,at last interstitial fibrosis. It was shown that the positive expression of collagen typeⅠ was mainly in the alveolar epithelial cells and endothelial cells by in situ hybridization. The expression of collagen typeⅠ mRNA was weakened compared to air group on 7 d(P0.05).Conclusions Prolonged hyperoxia may cause the onset of arrested lung development and lung fibrosis, which are similar to the changes of chronic lung disease. The collagen type Ⅰand Ⅳ mRNA expressions are not parallel to their protein contents, suggesting the main modulation of these collagens may be not at transcriptional level.

OBJECTIVE To study the effect of Qing Yi Tang on acute pancreatitis(AP),especially AP complicated with endotoxemia and its possible mechanism.METHODS Fourty Wistar rats were divided into 5 groups including group A(the control group),group B(the AP group),group C(the AP group treated with Qing Yi Tang),group D(the AP group treated with LPS) and group E(the AP group treated with LPS + Qing Yi Tang).Pathological damage of pancreatic tissue was scored with HE staining. The mRNA expression of TNF-? was measured with semi-quantitative RT-PCR,and activation of NF-?B was detected with flow cytometry(FCM) assay.RESULTS It was shown in results that the expression of TNF-? mRNA,activation of NF-?B and pathological damage of the group B were all obviously higher than those of the group A.After treated with LPS which might promote the activation of NF-?B,there was seen the further rise of the activation of NF-?B,expression of TNF-? mRNA and pathological damage. When Qing Yi Tang intervention was applied, the activation of NF-?B and the expression of TNF-? mRNA could be remarkably relieved,so did the pathological damage of pancreas.CONCLUSIONS Qing Yi Tang may be applied to decrease activation of NF-?B and the expression of TNF-? so as to treat AP or AP with endotoxemia.

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of computed tomography?guided visceral nerve plexus ethanol neurolysis through post?curs of diaphragm approach in the treatment of patients with pancreatic cancer pain using, and study the safety and life quality improvement of patients . Methods A total of 58 patients suffered from pancreatic cancer pain, who were treated in the department of pain medicine of the First Hospital of China Medical University from October 2013 to December 2014,were recruited for the study. The patients were divided into two groups according to the willing of the patients and their families, group A(32 cases)was treated with Visceral Nerve Plexus ethanol Neurolysis, while group B(26 cas?es)was treated with oral opioid drugs. The analgesic effect, changes in the amount of opioid drugs, changes in the PSQI scores and the improvement of quality of life were evaluated before treatment and 1 day(T1),15 days(T15),30 days(T30),60 days(T60)after treatment. Record the adverse reactions in the course of treatment. Results All the patients of group A successfully received visceral nerve plexus ethanol neurolysis, the VAS scores,Karnofsky scores, and PSQI scores of all the observed time points(after the operation)were statistically different compared to those before treatment and group B. Statistically difference was also observed in quality of life between two groups(P<0.05). The amount of opioid drugs of group B was statistically increased than that of group A(P<0.01).The most common side effects in Group A were postural hypotension(6 cases),diar?rhea(2 cases),and intercostal neuralgia, while nausea(20 cases),constipation(11 cases)and dizziness(8 cases)were seen in the Group B. Con?clusion Visceral nerve plexus ethanol neurolysis through post?curs of diaphragm approach by the guide of CT is effective and safe for the patients with pancreatic cancer pain, and the complications were totally acceptable.

Background Dyslipidemia,a well-known risk factor for cardiovascular disease,is common in patients with kidney disease.Recent studies discerned that dyslipidemias play a critical role in renal damage progression in renal diseases, but the association between dyslipidemias and chronic kidney disease (CKD) in the general population remains unknown. Thus,we assessed whether the growing prevalence of dyslipidemia could increase the risk of CKD.Methods A total of 4779 middle-aged and elderly participants participated in this study.Dyslipidemias were defined by the 2007 Guidelines in Chinese Adults.Incident CKD was defined as albuminuria and/or reduced estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR,<60 ml.min-1.1.73 m-2).Regression analysis was used to evaluate the association between dyslipidemia and albuminuria/reduced eGFR.Results Participants with hypercholesterolemia exhibited a greater prevalence of albuminuria and reduced eGFR (10.0% vs.6.1%,P=-0.001; 4.0% vs.2.4%,P=-0.028,respectively).Both hypercholesterolemia and low high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) were independently associated with albuminuria (odds ratio (OR) 1.49; 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.08-2.07 and OR 1.53; 95% CI 1.13-2.09,respectively).The multivariable adjusted OR of reduced eGFR in participants with hypercholesterolemia was 1.65 (95% CI 1.03-2.65).As the number of dyslipidemia components increased,so did the OR of CKD:0.87 (95% CI 0.65-1.15),1.29 (95% CI,0.83-2.01),and 7.87 (95% CI,3.75-16.50) for albuminuria, and 0.38 (95% CI 0.21-0.69),1.92 (95% CI 1.14-3.25),and 5.85 (95% CI 2.36-14.51)for reduced eGFR,respectively. Conclusions Our findings indicate that dyslipidemias increase the risk of CKD in the middle-aged and elderly Chinese population.Hypercholesterolemia plays an important role in reducing total eGFR.Both low HDL-C and hypercholesterolemia are associated with an increased risk for albuminuria.
