Objective:To evaluate the status quo and influencing factors of hyperlipidemia management in patients with contracted family doctor service in the community.Method:The baseline data and blood lipid testing results of 752 hyperlipidemia patients (334 males and 418 females) with contracted family doctor service in Yuetan Community Health Service Center from November?2019 to May 2020 were collected. The hyperlipidemic patients were managed by family doctors based on atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases(ASCVD) riks assessment. The ASCVD risk levels and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) compliance rate of patients with different general data were compared, and the influencing factors of LDL-C control failure were analyzed by logistic regression.Results:The ASCVD risk assessment showed that among 752 patients there were 172 cases of low risk(22.87%), 167 cases of moderate risk(22.21%),352 cases of high risk(46.81%) and 61 cases of extremely high risk(8.11%). A significant difference was detected in sex,rate of smoking,incidence of overweight or obesity among patients with different ASCVD risk levels ( P<0.05).The overall control rate of LDL-C was 48.8% (367/752), that for low, moderate, high and extremely high risk patients were 83.73% (144/172), 53.89% (90/167), 34.38% (121/352) and 19.67%(12/61), respectively. A significant difference was detected in sex(female: 52.87%, 221/418),age(aged over 80: 58.82%, 110/187), rate of smoking (non-smoking:52.40%, 327/624) and medication compliance (good compliance:52.87%,221/418) between LDL-C control and uncontrol groups (χ2=6.323,11.816,19.022,25.274; P<0.05). Multiple logistic regression analysis revealed that male gender ( OR=1.800,95% CI:1.325-2.419), smoking ( OR=2.630,95% CI:1.726-4.007) and poor medication compliance ( OR= 2.179, 95% CI: 1.581-3.003) were independent risk factors for uncontrolled LDL-C levels. Conclusion:Patients with hyperlipidemia have a relatively high risk of cardiovascular diseases, and their blood lipids are not well controlled. The management of blood lipid should be enhanced in patients with chronic diseases, particularly for male patients with smoking and poor medication compliance.

· AIM: DLAD (DnaseII-like acid Dnase) is an acid DNase that is highly expressed in human and murine lens fibre cells. Recently, the DLAD-/- mice with a deficience in DLAD gene were reported to develop nuclear cataract.To elucidate whether a deficient DLAD gene can cause some human cataract, we studied autosomal dominant nuclear catarat in 6 families and analysed linkage between cataract and DLAD locus.·METHODS: Two-point Lod score values were obtained for markers D1S551 and GATA65B07.· RESULTS: The results show negative Lod scores (z=-∞ at θ =0), so linkage was excluded between the defect and DLAD locus in these families.·CONCLUSION: no evidence for cataracts in these families linkage to chromosome 1p22.3, the DLAD locus.

AlM: To investigate the effect of endocapsular phacoemulsification cataract extraction and intraocular lens (lOL) implantation with a 1. 8mm or 3. 0mm clear corneal incision on total root mean square ( RMS ) value of the cornea, corneal astigmatism, spherical aberration, coma, trefoil and tear film.
METHODS:ln a prospective study, 156 age- related patients ( 196 eyes ) were randomly distributed into two groups. 1. 8mm-group comprised 94 eyes that had a silicone lOL inserted through a 1. 8mm sutureless clear corneal incision, while, 3. 0mm- group comprised 102 eyes through a 3. 0mm clear corneal incision. Postoperatively, the changes in the total RMS value of the cornea, corneal astigmatism, spherical aberration, coma, trefoil and tear film at 1wk, 1 and 3mo were determined respectively.
RESULTS:ln both groups, postoperatively at 1wk,there were statistically significant differences ( P<0. 05 ) in the total RMS value of the cornea, corneal astigmatism, spherical aberration, coma, trefoil and tear film, while, there were statistically minimal differences ( P< 0. 05 ) between 1. 8mm-group and 3. 0mm-group at 1mo, but were not statistically significantly different ( P > 0. 05 ) between two groups at 3mo postoperative.
CONCLUSlON:This study confirms that incision size has strong impact on the corneal higher-order aberrations, especially, 3. 0mm incision caused significant differences in the total RMS value of cornea, corneal astigmatism, spherical aberration, coma, trefoil and tear film compared with 1. 8mm micro-incision, therefore, micro-incision is very beneficial for clinical use in phacoemulsification.

OBJECTIVE: To summarize the characteristics and investigate the mechanisms of boat propeller injuries so as to explore the identification methods between boat propeller injuries and corpse dismemberment. METHODS: More than 100 autopsy cases of boat propeller injuries were collected in a period between 1994 and 2005 in Huzhou district, Zhejiang province. The characteristics of injuries caused by propeller, including abrasion, wound, fracture and severed wound, and the characteristics of clothing, were retrospectively studied and summarized. The severed cross wound section of boat propeller injuries was compared with that caused by corpse dismemberment. RESULTS: The boat propeller injuries were resulted from high-speed propellers with enormous splitting power and mechanical cutting, while corpse dismemberment were resulted from cutting and dismembering the body with sharp instruments. Due to the different mechanisms, the different strength of force and recoil force, the severed wound cross section had different characteristics. CONCLUSION Wounds caused by boat propeller injuries have their unique characteristics, distinguished from wounds of dismembered corpse.

The aim of this study was to observe the electrophysiological characteristics of the isolated rat muscle spindle. The muscle spindle was isolated from rat soleus and the afferent discharge of the isolated muscle spindle was recorded by air-gap technique. In the basic physiological salt solution, the spontaneous impulses of muscle spindle were at a lower level with irregular intervals. The mean frequency of afferents was (51.78 ± 25.63) impulses/1 000 s (n = 13). The muscle spindle afferents were significantly increased and maintained over time by the addition of certain amino acids during the observation. The number of the action potential recorded per 1 000 s was 200-1 000 [mean: (687.62 ± 312.56) impulses/1 000 s, n = 17]. In addition to the typical propagated action potential, a large number of abortive spikes were observed. The results indicate that the activities of isolated muscle spindles in rats can be well maintained by the addition of certain amino acids. The results initially establish and provide the possibility for further research conducted in isolated rat muscle spindles.

Objective To compare the clinical features of severe hand foot and mouth disease between enterovirus(EV)71 and other EV to find specific diagnosis index of EV71 severe hand foot and mouth disease.Methods Case definition were adopted from national guideline of hand foot and mouth disease diagnose(Version 2010).Clinical data of severe hand foot and mouth disease came from case history and contents of questionnaire would include the ones between the time of onset and diagnoses being made.EV and EV71,Cox A16 nucleic acid tested were by RT-PCR in stopl samples.Clinical features of severe hand foot and mouth disease between EV71 and other EV were compare.Results There appeared statistical differences between neurologic symptoms such as tremor,myoclonic jerk,listlessness,convulsion and white blood cell counts in CSF(P<0.05).Results from the step Fisher discriminant analysis showed only tremor and white blood cell had an increase in CSF,with statistically significant differences.The discriminant equation of EV71 was Y=3.059X1+3.83X5-2.742 and the equation of other EV was Y=1.634X1+1.623X5-1.693.The specificity of EV71 was 91% and the specificity of other EV Was 40%.Conclusion The increase of clinical features of tremor and white blood cell in CSF could be used as diagnosis index of severe EV71.

OBJECTIVETo study HIV, HBV and HCV infections in intravenous drug users.

METHODS2025 blood samples from intravenous drug users were collected from Sichuan, Hunan, Guangxi and Xinjiang regions, and tested for anti-HIV, anti-HCV, HBsAg using enzyme-linked immuno-sobent assays (ELISAs).

RESULTSThe positive rates of anti-HIV,anti-HCV and HBsAg were14.7%-30.4%, 60.7%-85.5% and 6.6%-22.4% in the intravenous drug users, respectively. The co-infection rates of HIV/HBV, HIV/HCV, HCV/HBV and HIV/HCV/HBV were 0%-0.4%, 11.6%-27.2%, 2.3%-14.3% and 1.6%-4.8% respectively in this population.

CONCLUSIONThe infection rates of HIV, HBV and HCV were higher in the intravenous drug users than that in general populations in the same regions, and HIV/HCV co-infection appeared most frequent in this population.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effects of 100 Hz sinusoidal vibration on H reflex and M wave in rat soleus muscle following immobilization.

METHODSThe immobilization of rat soleus muscle was induced as a disuse muscle model, and 100 Hz sinusoidal vibration was generated by a vibrator and applied to the immobilized soleus muscle, then the changes of H reflex and M wave in muscle were observed after 14 d.

RESULTSCompared to control, after 14 d of immobilization M(max) in soleus muscle decreased (P<0.01), stimulus threshold and S(max) increased (P<0.01); Hmax and H(max)/M(max) decreased (P<0.05, S(max) increased (P<0.05). Compared to immobilized soleus muscle, after 14 d of immobilization with 100 Hz sinusoidal vibration, the M(max) increased(P<0.01), stimulus threshold and S(Mmax) decreased (P<0.05), H(max) (P<0.01) increased and H(max)/M(max) increased (P<0.05).

CONCLUSION100 Hz sinusoidal vibration plays a significant antagonist role against the changes in H reflex and M wave in rat soleus muscle following immobilization.
