ObjectiveTo retrospectively determine the prevalence of Ramp lesion (the peripheral attachment of the posterior horn of the medial meniscus) of the posterior horn of the medial meniscus with concurrent anterior cruciate ligament(ACL) ruptures and analyze the relevant risk factors.MethodsFrom April 2002 to October 2007,868 consecutive knees were diagnosed as ACL injury and received arthroscopic surgery for ACL reconstruction(ACLR).All the patients were verified for the tears of Ramp area under arthroscopy. The prevalence of Ramp lesion was evaluated respectively. Then all cases were divided into different groups depending on the time interval from ACL injury to ACLR (TFI) and other relevant risk factors as age and gender.ResultsAmong 868 knees underwent surgery for ACLR,144 knees were diagnosed as Ramp lesion. The average age was 24.7 years,113 males,31 females. The mean TFI to ACLR was 29.3months.The prevalence of Ramp lesion was 16.59%,which was analyzed as logarithmic correlation with TFI.Patients younger than 30-year old and male patients had significant higher prevalence of Ramp lesion.ConclusionRamp lesion is a common meniscus injury that can occur at the time of ACL rupture or as a result of knee laxity associated with ACL insufficiency. The prevalence of Ramp lesion is 16.59% which increases with time until 24 months after initial injury.Patients younger than 30-year old and male patients have higher prevalence of Ramp lesion.

Journal of China Pharmaceutical University 2017;48(1):60-65
The purpose of this study was to investigate the pharmacokinetic interaction between sunitinib and ramipril in rats. Eighteen male SD rats were divided into three groups, with each group being assigned to orally receive sunitinib, ramipril, sunitinib and ramipril, respectively, for ten days. Blood samples were collected at dif-ferent times after first-day and tenth-day administration. The concentrations of ramiprilat and sunitinib in rat plasma were determined by LC/MS/MS and the pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated and statistically analyzed. Compared with the administration of ramipril alone, after a single-dose combined administration, tmax of ramiprilat decreased significantly and t1/2 prolonged, while AUC0-∞ remained unchanged. These results indicated that the ab-sorption rate of ramiprilat increased and the elimination rate decreased, but total absorption degree was not changed. After multiple-dose administrations, CL of ramiprilat decreased and AUC0-∞ increased obviously. It sug-gested that accumulation of ramiprilat occurred in body and the drug elimination became slower. No obvious difference of sunitinib pharmacokinetic behavior was found when it was given in combination with ramipril after a single-dose administration or multiple-dose administration. Sunitinib decreased the elimination of ramiprilat after co-administration in company with drug accumulation in body after multiple-dose co-administration. The study showed that there were pharmacokinetic interactions between sunitinib and ramipril in SD rats.

Objective:To explore the feasibility of the optimized cytokinesis-block (CB) assay on radiation-induced nucleoplasmic bridge (NPB), and to provide a scientific basis for the application of NPB in biological dose estimation. Methods:Human peripheral blood in vitro was irradiated with 2 Gy 60Co γ-rays at a dose rate of 1 Gy/min (0 Gy control group). According to the culture time after irradiation, blood samples were divided into group 48, 56, 68 and 72 h. Cytochalasin-B (Cyt-B) with a concentration of 6 μg/ml was added into the samples at 28 h and harvested at 48, 56, 68 and 72 h after irradiation, respectively. On the other hand, the blood samples were treated with different concentration of Cyt-B i. e., 0.6, 1, 2, 6 and 10 μg/ml at the beginning of culture (0 h) and harvested at 68 h after irradiation. The proportion of mononucleated, binucleated and multinucleated cells, radiation-induced NPB and micronucleus (MN) frequencies were analyzed. Results:The nuclear division index (NDI) and proportion of binucleated cells at 2 Gy and 0 Gy had tendency of increasing with cell culture time. NPB frequencies (0.023 0-0.033 0/cell) and MN frequencies had no significantly difference ( P> 0.05). With the increase of Cyt-B concentration, NDI and the proportion of binucleated cells in group 2 Gy and 0 Gy also increased, but NPB frequencies (0.023 0-0.047 0/cell) had no significant difference ( P> 0.05). MN frequencies of group 10 μg/ml were significantly lower than that of group 6 μg/ml ( U=2.74, P< 0.01). Conclusions:Cell culture time and Cyt-B concentration had no significant influence on radiation-induced NPB frequencies, suggesting that NPB could be obtained by appropriately reducing cell culture time and Cyt-B could be added into blood samples at the beginning of culture. But this protocol reduced the number of cells for further analysis, and thus its feasibility for dose estimation still need to be studied.

Biomass is a renewable resource, which can be transformed into useful chemical products. The effects of dilute hydrochloric acid on the hydrolysis of steam explosion pretreatment of corn straw were studied. This article developed the application research of ergosterol using corn straw hydrolysates as fer- mentation substrates. The results showed that when corn straw was hydrolyzed with 1.5% hydrochloric acid, temperature at 90?C, hydrolysis for 3 h and the corresponding solid to liquid ratio at 10%, the reducing sugar content can reached up to 53.3% and cellulose conversion efficiency was 79%. The optimal fermental pa- rameters were as follows: 6.0 oBx of corn straw hydrolysates, corn concentration steep water at 4%, pH 7.5, 10% of inoculation, 28?C cultivated for 32 h. Under these conditions, the yeast biomass up to 8.5 g/L and the ergosterol content up to 2.35%. The infrared spectrometer and the X-ray diffract meter used to characterize of crystallite structure.

Objective To establish the analysis criteria of nucleoplasmic bridges (NPB) and a dose-response curve of NPB frequencies in human peripheral blood lymphocytes irradiated by 60Co γ-rays.Methods Human peripheral blood samples were collected from three healthy males, and were irradiated with 0,1,2,3,4,5 and 6 Gy of 60Co γ-rays.A cytokinesis-block micronucleus assay was carried out to analyze NPBs and micronuclei (MN) in binucleated cells. Results NPBs in binucleated cells at each dose level of γ-ray was conformed to the Poisson distribution. The dose-response curve of the γ-ray-induced NPB frequencies in human peripheral lymphocytes followed the linear-quadratic model y =(1.39 × 10-3)x2 + (4.94 × 10-3)x (R2 =0.981,P < 0.05).Conclusions The dose-response curve of NPB frequencies in human peripheral blood lymphocytes induced by 0-6 Gy 60Co γ-rays was established.

0.05). Conclusion Enough high-purified LECs can be isolated by collagenase digestion procedure followed by immunomagnetic beads sorting. Post-thawed endothelial cells are proved to have high vitality and growth potential in vitro without significant morphological changes. Cryopreserved LECs may serve as a cell choice for research of lymphangiogenesis and lymphatic patterning.
