1.Minimally invasive treatment in early rectal carcinoma
Journal of International Oncology 2013;(5):370-372
Radiotherapy alone and local excision combined with radiotherapy have been alternative treatments of early rectal carcinoma resection.Compared with radical surgery, both radiotherapy alone and local excision combined with radiotherapy can get satisfactory effect, and prevent the high rate of complications and adverse reactions, which will improve the quality of life for patients with rectal carcinoma and should be recommended.

Isoliquiritigenin (ISL) is an active chalcone compound isolated from licorice. It possesses anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative activities. In our previous study, we uncovered a great potential of ISL in treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Therefore, this study aims to reveal the mechanism underlying the alleviatory effects of ISL on T2DM-induced glycolipid metabolism disorder. High-fat-high-sugar diet (HFD) combined with intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin (STZ) were used to establish T2DM mice model. All animal experiments were carried out with approval of the Committee of Ethics at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. HepG2 cells were used in

Isoliquiritigenin (ISL) is a flavonoid compound isolated from licorice. It possesses excellent antioxidant and anti-diabetic activities. This study aims to investigate the molecular mechanism underlying the alleviatory effect of ISL on energy metabolism imbalance caused by type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). 8-week-old male C57BL/6J mice were used in

Objective To evaluate the reliability of a rat model of acute cerebral ischemia and reperfusion by using cerebral perfusion functional CT.Methods A stable and reversible focal ischemia model with unilateral middle cerebral artery occlusion was established and evaluated by CT perfusion imaging and TTC staining. Results Artificial Occlusion of the MCA resulted in ipsilateral cerebral infarcts in all study animals.Hypoperfusion was definitely recorded in all CT perfusion images obtained after MCA occlusion and was significantly correlated with the final lesion size.Blood flow was restored after pulling the thread out of the artery. Conclusions The method of establishing an acute focal cerebral ischemia and reperfusion model by thread insertion in our study is simple and stable. If we can screen the stroke model with CT perfusion examination, the error caused by variance of model can be reduced.Thereby it provides a platform for researchers to investigate acute cerebral ischemia and recirculation.

Objective To compare the humoral immunity features of acute glomerulonephritis and nephritic syndrome(NS) in children for earlier differential diagnosis and rational administration. Methods Nephelometry was used to determinate the serum level of immunoglobulin(Ig)G,IgA,IgM,C3,C4 in children by England MININEPH machine and correlated reagent. The serum level of IgE was determined by IgE enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),assay ELISA kit of America E&ELABSINC company. Immunoturbidimetry and westergren method were used to detect anti-streptolysin O(ASO) and erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),respectively. Results There were significant diffe-rence features of humoral immunity between acute glomerulonephritis and NS in children.IgG,IgA,IgE,C3,C4 had significant difference between acute glomerulonephritis children and healthy children(Pa

Recent studies showed that copy number variations in certain genes are closely correlated to progression and prognosis of pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Relevant reports in the 57th American Society of Hematology(ASH) annual meeting in 2015 will be reviewed together with research progress in recent years.

Objective The flow of talents personnel is one of the main impetus of societal progress,it is also particularly important for the development of universities.this paper would discuss possible influence factors of the Science and technology talent retention in Xinjiang Universities from the perspective of personnel policy adjustment. Methods Literature review, field survey and expert interview were carried out to understand the personnel policies and existed problems of talent retention in Xinjiang, identifying and analyzing problems, bring in experiences, cases and ideas from other universities both in China and abroad, proposing reforms with focusing on the reconstruction of both talent personnel policy and platforms. Results Through a series of comparative analysis,we discuss the causes and adjustment mechanism of the brain drain in Xinjiang colleges and universities. Conclusions Xinjiang universities should take flexible measurements in employing mechanism reform, the construction of hard and soft environment on the unique path to get out of Xinjiang to attract all kinds of talents talent retention.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1992;0(05):-
Objective To investigate the change of serum transforming growth factor(TGF)-?1 and vascular endothelial growth facter( VEGF) in children with different types of primary nephrotic syndrome( PNS). Methods Children involved in the experiments were divided into simple type group, 16 cases; nephrit was type group, 16 cases, collecting blood sample in prednison - pretreated stage and in prednison- treated stage;control group, 14 cases. Monoclonal EUISA detected TGF-?1 and VEGF. Results Serum level of TGF-?1 and VKGF in active stage of simple type were higher than those of remission stage. The level in nephritis type was no signifi cant difference between prednison- treated stage and prednison - pretreated stage. The level in nephritis type was significantly higher than that in simple type. Conclusion Monitoring the dynamic change of serum TGF-?1 and VEGF can assess the effect of prednison treatment, and evaluate the prognosis of nephrotic syndrome.

Cyclosporine A( CsA) , as an immune inhibitor, is commonly used after organ transplantation. It has been found that the long-term use of CsA produced serious testicular toxicity and affected the fertility of organ transplantation patients. In order to investigate male reproductive damage induced by CsA, this article reviews its impact on reproductive organ development, its damage mechanism on the male reproductive system and drug research for alleviating its reproductive toxicity. It helps to make medical workers pay more attention to reproductive toxicity produced by CsA and make their efforts to develop some special drugs to lessen CsA reproductive toxicity.

Objective:To value the application of two bacteria colony-PCR methods in the screening of phage antibody library. Methods:Five positive monoclonal bacterium were respectively suspended in either deionized water or 0.1% Triton X-100, and then boiled to be used as template in PCR. . The DNAs products of PCR were extracted and digested by two enzymes, and then determined by electrophoresis. Results:The inserted genes were detected in all the 5 clones after PCR and enzyme digestion .Conclusion:Bacteria colony-PCR can be used in screening positive recombinant colonies. The bacteria colony-PCR method with bacteria colonies suspended in deionized water is valuable in large scale positive recombinant bacterium screening.
