Objective To observe the preventive and therapeutic effect of Chinese herbal medicine film µwave irradiation on mammary hyperplasia in rats. Methods Rat models of experimental mammary hyperplasia were established by intramuscular injection of estrogen and a small quantity of progestin. Two weeks after modeling, the rats were treated with Chinese herbal medicine film µwave irradiation. Before and after the treatment, mammary diameter of the second nipples were measured, serum concentrations of estrogen (E2), progesterone (P) and prolactin (PRL) were determined by radioimmunoassay,pathological changes of mammary hyperplasia were examined under microscope,and the rate of mammary hyperplasia was measured. Results Chinese herbal medicine film markedly inhibited experimental mammary hyperplasia in rats,and the rate of mammary hyperplasia were 23.4 %in medicine film group and 20.9 %in medicine film µwave irradiation group respectively. Medicine film regulated the concentrations of estrogen and progestin,reduced the level of PRL and alleviated the pathological severity of mammary hyperplasia obviously. Conclusion Chinese herbal medicine film µwave irradiation have certain preventive and therapeutic effect on mammary hyperplasia in rats.

Objective To evaluate effects of Atorvastatin on the levels of adiponectin and leptin and adiponectin-leptin ratio in the elderly and middle-aged patients with type 2 diabetes and combined hyperlipidemia Methods Totally 80 the elderly and middle-aged patients with type 2 diabetes and combined hyperlipidemia were treated with Atorvastatin (10mg/d) for 12 weeks.Fasting plasma levels of glucose(FPG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1 c),total cholesterol (TC),triglyceride (TG),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),adiponectin(APN) and leptin(LEP) were measured at baseline and 12 weeks after treatment.And the adiponectin/leptin(A/L)ratio was calculated.Results Before versus 12 weeks after medication,TG[(4.92±1.23)mmol/L vs.(4.26±1.07)mmol/L,t=11.124,P＜ 0.001],TC[(2.69 ± 1.17) mmol/L vs.(1.66 ± 1.01) mmol/L,t=24.816,P＜0.001] and LDL-C[(2.79 ± 1.02) mmol/L vs.(1.91 ± 0.92) mmol/L,t=21.508,P＜0.001]were decreased obviously;HDL-C increased obviously [(1.03 ± 0.30) mmol/L vs.(1.33 ± 0.26) mmol/L,t =-12.011,P ＜ 0.001];APN increased slightly without statistical significance (P =0.064);LEP level decreased slightly without statistical significance(P=0.068),and A/L increased obviously(P＜ 0.05).Conclusions Atorvastatin treatment can significantly decrease TG,TC and LDL-C level in the elderly and middle-aged patients with type 2 diabetes and combined hyperlipidemia,and significantly increase HDL-C as well as A/L level,while it has no obvious influence on APN and LEP.

With the support of World Bank ( WB ) and UK Department for International Development ( DFID) , China Rural Health Project ( hereinafter referred as Health XI Project) began to introduce the idea of performance management to 40 counties in 8 provinces in 2008 . The project implemented cyclic performance manage-ment strategies, including performance planning, performance communication, performance evaluation and perform-ance improvement. With the continuous improvement of performance as the goal, the project attempted to establish incentive mechanisms based on the performance of health care services. After five years of pilots in 40 counties, it has achieved good results in the aspects of improving the quality and efficiency of health care services, motivating the enthusiasm of health care managers and workers, etc. Moreover, it has successfully built several advanced counties with exemplary performance management and accumulated some experience, which provides reference and demonstra-tion for implementing performance management in other areas. The key experiences of implementing performance management of rural primary health care include taking health care quality as the core of performance, appropriately combining economic and non-economic incentives, encouraging personnel participation in performance management in order to ensure the sustainability of performance improvement, and effectively applying the ideology of systematic per-formance management in order to effectively enhance the management level of hospitals. The paper also puts forward some policy suggestions based on emerging issues during implementation of performance management.

AIM To evaluate the effect of METHODS 2 month-old mice were fed routinelycistanche desertica polysacchrides(CDP) on the ni- for 11 mounths to establish the model of naturallytric oxids(NO) ,superoxide dismutase(SOD) in se- aging mice. The cistanche desertica polysacchridesrum and apoptosis of lung cell in aging mice. 25, 50, 100 mg ?kg~' were administrated respec- lively to the mice po. then investigated the concentration of NO, SOD and the morphological changes of apoptosis by fluoromicroscope. RESULTS Aging could induce the lung cell apoptosis, decrease the level of SOD, and increase the level of NO as well. The cistanche desertica polysacchrides signif- icantly ameliorated the lung cell apoptosis; decreased the level of NO, improved the activity of SOD. CONCLUSION Cistanche desertica polysac-chrides have ameliorating and postponing effects on the regressive changes in the lung of aging mice.

Objective To understand the comments for the essential drug system by doctors at township health centers in Nantong's six counties and to discuss the effect of implementing the essential drug system to different ownership systems.Methods The survey was made with stratified clusters random sampling method to select township health centers.Questionnaires were filled out by doctors,and leaders of the health bureau and township health centers were interviewed.Results After the implementation of the essential drug system,94.6％of the doctors found that the number of laboratory examinations increased in Rugao,Rudong and Haian.23.2％of the doctors in Tongzhou,Qidong and Haimen found that enthusiasm for work increased.Conclusion The compensation mechanism should be perfected and the financial subsidies should be paid in time.Supervision and management should be strengthened and the grassroots need for medicine be ensured.The skills training should be enhanced and the medical service ability be improved.

Objective To observe the curative effect of Rougan Granules on rats hepatocirrhosis induced by carbon tetra- chloride(CCl_4)with 10 % alcohol and high fat feed.Method The rat model was established by gastric garage of CCh (CCl_4:salad oil=1:1)1 mL/kg twice a week for two weeks,and with 10 % alcohol as drinking water,high fat feed as food.After administration of CCl_4,the rats were divided into 5 groups:the model group,high-,medium-and low-dosage of Rougan Granules groups,the eolchicine group.And normal control group was also set up.After adminis- tration for 6 weeks,hyaluronic acid,typeⅣcollagen and typeⅢprecollagen in serum were measured and liver histopathol- ogy examination was done.Result The contents of hyaluronic acid,typeⅣcollagen and typeⅢprecollagen in model rats were increased significantly,while Rougan Granules could decrease those increase significantly.Liver histopathology exami- nation showed medium or high fatty degeneration of hepatic cell,obvious hyperplasia of fibrous tissue with fibrous distance broaden and pseudolobuli formed in model group,but in Rougan Granules group the general pathological changes of liver were less.Conclusion Rougan Granules have an effect of experimental anti-hepatocirrhosis in rats.

Objective To analyze the feasibility and practicality of the navigational template for antegrade lag screw fixation of the fractures in the posterior column of acetabulum.Methods Spiral CT scan data of 40 normal adult pelvis was collected.3D CT scans of pelvics were performed.Virtual 3D pelvic models were reconstructed with software Mimics 10.01.Virtual cylindrical implants were placed along the longitudinal axis of the acetabular posterior column via the ischial tuberosity among the ipsilateral hemipelvis and some anatomical parameters were measured.To adjust cylinder position to determine the best projection point,the shortest distance of the point to the linea terminalis and the anterior border of the auricular surface,the angle between the cylindrical and the coronal plane (α),and the angle between the quadrilateral district and iliac fossa plane (β) were measured respectively.The 3D models were imported into software UG 6.0.The models of navigational templates were designed according to the anatomic features of the acetabulums and the measured parameters.16 cases of dry left side of pelvis specimens were collected.Simulate acetabular posterior column screw fixation from different screw holes and verify the accuracy of navigation template assisted in the nail.Results The navigational templates was designed and manufactured successfully which was more consistent with the anatomical features of the quadrilateral plane.Placement of lag screw from the first hole:6.3％ achieved accurate positioning,75％ well positioning,and 18.7％ loose.From the second hole:81.3％ had accurate positioning,18.7％ well positioning.From the third hole:37.5％ had accurate positioning,62.5％ loose.Conclusion The navigational template designed according to the anatomic features of acetabulum and the measured parameters can accurately assist lag screw placement.

Objective To observe the antihypertensive effect of compound Yibazhen granules on spontaneous hypertensive rats ( SHR) . Methods Wistar rats were served as normal control group. Sixty SHR were randomly divided into model control group,captopril group,Jane chrysanthemum antihypertension tablet group and compound high dose group,middle dose group and low dose group ( n = 10 each group ) by digital table method. Captopril group was given captopril 30 mg.kg-1 .d-1 ,and Jane chrysanthemum antihypertension tablet group was treated with Jane chrysanthemum antihypertension tablet ( 0. 6 tablet per kg ) , compound Yibazhen granules high dose group, middle dose group and low dose group received compound of 13.18,6.59 and 3.3 mg.kg-1 .d-1 ,respectively. Normal control group and model control group were intragastrically administered with 0.9% sodium chloride solution for 8 weeks. Changes of systolic and diastolic blood pressure of rats and blood urea,creatinine,nitric oxide (NO),nitric oxide synthase (NOS) and angiotensin Ⅱ (Ang Ⅱ) were observed. Results Diastolic pressure of rats in compound Yibazhen granules high dose group, middle dose group and low dose group decreased significantly in 2 weeks. Systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure of compound Yibazhen granules high dose group decreased significantly in 4 weeks,compared with the model control group (P<0.05). Compared with the model control group, concentration of urea and crea in compound Yibazhen granules high dose group, middle dose group and low dose group were significantly lower( P<0.05) . The content of NOS and AngⅡ in rats of compound Yibazhen granules high dose group decreased significantly and the contents of NO increased, which were compared with the model control group ( P<0. 05, P<0. 01 ) . Conclusion The protective effect of compound Yibazhen granules in treating early renal damage in SHR is related to decreasing diastolic blood pressure,concentration of urea,crea and AngⅡ and regulating the levels of NOS and NO.

Cyclosporine A( CsA) , as an immune inhibitor, is commonly used after organ transplantation.It has been found that the long-term use of CsA produced serious testicular toxicity and affected the fertility of organ transplantation patients.In order to investigate male reproductive damage induced by CsA, this article reviews its impact on reproductive organ development, its damage mechanism on the male reproductive system and drug research for alleviating its reproductive toxicity.It helps to make medical workers pay more attention to reproductive toxicity produced by CsA and make their efforts to develop some special drugs to lessen CsA reproductive toxicity.
