Objective To investigate the dosage, efficacy and safety of intravitreal injection of plasmin in producing posterior vitreous detachment (PVD), and the possible role of plasmin in degrading adhesion glycoproteins of inner limiting membrane (ILM). Methods Twenty eyes of young human cadavers within 24 hours after death were divided into 4 groups that received 0 1 ml balanced salt solution (group 1) as control, 1 (group 2), 2 (group 3), or 3 (group 4) U of human plasmin. Optical and transmission electron microcopies were performed to examine the ultrastructure of the vitreoretinal interface. Electron immunocytochemical techniques were carried out on ILM to estimate the content of fibronectin (FN) and laminin (LN). Flow cytometry was used for cell viability analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Tukey test was employed for statistical analysis. Results Microscopy demonstrated that plasmin especially in group 4 cleaved the attachment of the vitreous collagen fibrils to the ILM with no evident damage to the inner retina. The content of LN, FN in ILM decreased with injection of plasmin (group 3 and 4 had statistical significance from control group for FN, P

Chinese Journal of Infectious Diseases 2000;0(02):-
Objective To investigate TEM and SHV ESBLs in Klebsiella pneumoniae and Escherichia coli clinical isolates from West China Hospital of Sichuan University and detect resistance of ESBLs-producing isolates. Methods The TEM and SHV ESBLs-encoding gene was amplified by PCR and was sequenced. And the MIC of eight antibiotics against the ESBLs-producing strains were detected by agar dilution. Results All strains were resistant to cefotaxime; eleven strains were resistant to aztreonam; two were resistant to ceftizidime; eleven, five and three were resistant to ciprofloxacin, amikacin and cefoxidine respectively; All strains were susceptible to imipenem. Ten strains of twelve ESBLs-producing strains carried bla SHV-2, two carried bla TEM-19. Conclusions ESBLs producers were mainly resistant to cefotaxime and aztreonam and most of them were multi-drug resistance; Cefotaxime resistance is partially due to production of SHV-2 and TEM-19 in this study.

China Biotechnology 2006;0(11):-
On the base of element and metabolism balancing, the mathematic model of the human-like collagen expression phase with recombinant Escherichia coli BL21 was developed and the unknown parameters in the model were estimated with the method of nonlinear optimization. The model was in agreement with the growth kinetics and the metabolic kinetics, and the key calculated parameters of ?h,?p and mx were 1.173 mol?C-mol-1,293.814 mol?C-mol-1 and 17.878 mol?C-mol-1?h-1 respectively. This model could preferably predict the macroscopic reaction rates, and in the synthesis phase of human-like collagen, the specific growth rate should be controlled at 0.04 h-1 with controlling glucose feeding rate to gain the highest specific production rate of human-like collagen.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2000;0(06):-
Objective:To evaluate the physiological roles of bmp3,bmp4 and bmp7 during the formation of permanent tooth roots in dog. Methods:The expression of bmp3,bmp4 and bmp7 mRNA at different stages of the development of permanent tooth roots was examined by in situ hybridization in 3 dogs aged 12-18 weeks. Results:bmp3 was found in dental sac surrounding the germs at the early stage of tooth root development, and in cementoblasts and periodontal cells at the later stage. bmp4 was found in odontoblasts, dental papilla and osteoblasts. bmp7 positive signals was found only in epithelial cells of root sheath around cervical circulus at early stage, then located in cementoblasts and odontoblasts at later stage. Conclusion:The spatiotemporal expressions of bmp3,bmp4 and bmp7 are widely diverse, indicating that they participate in the regulation of tooth root development.

Objective To explore the influencing factors of frequent relapse primary nephritic syndrome (PNS) in children according to the statistical analysis of their clinical data and laboratory examinations. Method We collected in-hospital and out-patient medical records of children who were diagnosed PNS from Jan. 2007 to Feb. 2010 and whole clinical data were analyzed. Results In 245 cases of children with steroid sensitine nephrotic syndrome, non-frequent replapse (NFR) accounted for 82.4% and frequent relapse (FR) accounted for 17.6%. In univariate analysis, period of first relapse between initial treatment remission within 3 months , level of serum total protein and cholesterol and IgE at onset had statistical significance in FR children and NFR children, which were significant predictors of FR. The logistic regression analysis revealed that the first relapse after initial treatment remission within 3 months and increasing of serum IgE level (more than 358 IU/ml)were risk factors of FR. Among frequent relapses factors, infection, especially upper respiratory tract infection was the first (65. 1%). The relapse with motivation mainly in January to March, accounted for 30. 4%. Conclusion FR had a proportion of 17. 6% in children with PNS under regular glucocorticoid treatment. It showed seasonality feature that relapse. peak in winter and spring. Level of the serum total protein less than 40g/L and cholesterol more than 10mmol/L at onset can be predictive index of FR. Infections are the main motivation of relapse, but the relapse by irregular treatment and specific constitutions should be pay more attentions too.
