Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2006;0(02):-
[Objective]To disclose the mechanism of Leweiyin treating functional dyspepsia(FD) through experimental research. [Methods]Wistar rats are randomly divided into 7 groups: normal control, natural recovery, Madinlin, Shenling Baizhu pill, low dosage of Leweiyin, mediate dosage of Leweiyin, high dosage of Leweiyin, 6 in each group. Respectively administer to them with distilled water, Madinlin, Shenling Baizhu pill liquid, low, mediate and high dosage of Leweiyin at 2ml/100g, once every day, successively administer for 14 days one day after self model-making. Observe the gastric mucosa, measure gastro-intestinal hormones SP and VIP. [Results] Leweiyin can effectively increase SP and decrease VIP in experimental rats gastric antrum. [Conclusion] Leweiyin can increase gastro-intestinal tract excitement, regulate the contractility of gastro-intestinal smooth muscle, which may be the main mechanism for Leweiyin to treat FD.

Journal of Interventional Radiology 2004;0(S2):-
Objective To compare between conventional and endoscope-assisted greater saphenous vein harvesting and to invest if endoscope-assisted greater saphenous vein harvesting can reduce post-operative leg incision complications. Methods Minimally invasive endoscopic saphenous vein harsvesting technique has been used in 36 isolated CABG patients and this is compaired with 50 conventional saphenous vein harsvesting group. There is no significant difference in sex structure, age, hypertension, diabetes mellitum (DM), myocardial infarction (MI) et al in two groups. Results The incidence of post-operative leg complications with minimally invasive greater saphenous vein harvesting group (2.8% ) was remarkably lower than that in conventional group (28%), and the hospital-stay time was much shorter in minimally invasive group. Conclusion Endoscope-assisted saphenous vein harvesting is a effective method in reducing post-operative leg incision complications.

Objective To compare the long-term prognosis of patients with stage Ⅰ endometrial cancer (EMC) after laparoscopic surgery or open laparotomy. Methods Totally 83 patients with stage Ⅰ EMC who underwent laparoscopic surgery or open laparotomy between 1993 and 2008 were enrolled in this study. The clinical data were analyzed retrospectively to compare the survival time during long-term follow-up between the two groups. Results The total survival rate was 95.2% (79/83) in the 83 cases. The median survival time was 77,51,and 31 months respectively in stages Ⅰa,Ⅰb,and Ⅰc EMC patients. No significant difference was found in the survival rate between open and laparoscopy groups [94.2% (49/52) vs 96.8% (30/31),Z=0.028,P=0.978]. For the stage Ⅰa,stages Ⅰb and Ⅰc,and G2 and G3 patients, the median survival time was similar between the open and laparoscopy groups (80 month vs 63 months,P=0.483; 49 months vs 48 months,P=0.781; and 51 months vs 49 months,P=0.635). However,in the G1 patients, significantly difference was detected in the median survival time between the two groups (77 vs 51 months,P=0.037). Conclusion Laparoscopic surgery should be used as a routine surgical approach for patients with stage Ⅰ EMC considering its minimal invasiveness and promising prognosis.

Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2001;0(04):-
Objective To evaluate the effect of CO2 pneumoperitoneum with various pressures on the ultrastructure of the implanted lesions in rats model of endometriosis. Methods Endometriosis model was established in 30 SD rats by implanting self-endometria onto the peritoneum to form ectopic endometrial tissues. Then the animals were divided randomly into three groups (ten in each):control,10 mm Hg,and 20 mm Hg CO2 pneumoperitoneum groups (CO2 inflation lasted for 1 hour). One week after the procedure, the ectopic endometrial tissues were sampled for electron microscopy to determine the ultrastructure of cell organelle in the endometriosis glands and matrix cells. Results The electron microscopy showed that in the control group, the matrix cells lined up in order and the structure of the microvilli (MV) was normal; while in the 10 mm Hg and 20 mm Hg groups, the chromatin margination of glandular cells and mitochondria swelling were observed with reduced or vanished mitochondrial crista, the ultrastructural damages to the microvilli (reduced or vanished) were more apparent than the control, the cell junctions were widened or collapsed, and the matrix cells lined up disorderly. Compared to the 10 mm Hg group, ultrastructural damage to the glandular cells in the 20 mm Hg group was more severe. Conclusions CO2 pneumoperitoneum intervention can induce ultrastructural damage to endometriosis lesions. 20 mm Hg pressure of CO2 pneumoperitoneum can induce severer damage to the ectopic endometriosis tissues than 10 mm Hg.
