Objective: To analyze the change trends in the body shape indicators and proportions of students in Harbin from 2010 to 2024, and to investigate ergonomic compatibility of functional dimensions of school desks and chairs with current student shape indicators, so as to provide a reference for revising furniture standards of desks and chairs. Methods: Between September and November of both 2010 and 2024, a combination of convenience sampling and stratified cluster random sampling was conducted across three districts in Harbin, yielding samples of 6 590 and 6 252 students, respectively. Anthropometric shape indicators cluding height, sitting height, crus length, and thigh length-and their proportional changes were compared over the 15-year period. The 2024 data were compared with current standard functional dimensions of school furniture. The statistical analysis incorporated t-test and Mann-Whitney U- test. Results: From 2010 to 2024, average height increased by 1.8 cm for boys and 1.5 cm for girls; sitting height increased by 1.5 cm for both genders; crus length increased by 0.3 cm for boys and 0.4 cm for girls; and thigh length increased by 0.5 cm for both genders. The ratios of sitting height to height, and sitting height to leg length increased by less than 0.1 . The difference between desk chair height and 1/3 sitting height ranged from 0.4-0.8 cm. Among students matched with size 0 desks and chairs, 22.0% had a desk to chair height difference less than 0, indicating that the desk to chair height difference might be insufficient for taller students. The differences between seat height and fibular height ranged from -1.4 to 1.1 cm; and the differences between seat depth and buttock popliteal length ranged from -9.8 to 3.4 cm. Among obese students, the differences between seat width and 1/2 hip circumference ranged from -20.5 to -8.7 cm, while it ranged from -12.2 to -3.8 cm among non obese students. Conclusion Current furniture standards basically satisfy hygienic requirements; however, in the case of exceptionally tall and obese students, ergonomic accommodations such as adaptive seating allocation or personalized adjustments are recommended to meet hygienic requirements.

ObjectiveTo investigate the mechanisms of mitochondrial dynamics and metabolic reprogramming in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy （DN） by Shenxiao Tongluo prescription via the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ coactivator-1α （PGC-1α）/sirtuin-3 （SIRT3）/hypoxia-inducible factor-1α （HIF-1α） signaling pathway. MethodsSixty-five SD rats were randomized into a sham group （10 rats） and a modeling group （55 rats）， and the modeling rats underwent left nephrectomy and intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin （35 mg·kg^-1） to prepare a DN model. After successful modeling， the rats were randomized into model， empagliflozin （10 mg·kg^-1）， and low-， medium-， and high-dose （7.656， 15.312， 30.624 g·kg^-1， respectively） Shenxiao Tongluo prescription groups. The urine microalbumin （UmAlb）， blood urea nitrogen （BUN）， and serum creatinine （SCr） levels of rats in each group were assessed after continuous gavage for 8 weeks. The corresponding kits were used to measure the levels of lactate， superoxide dismutase （SOD）， and malondialdehyde （MDA） in the kidney tissue. Hematoxylin-eosin staining， Masson staining， and periodic acid-Schiff staining were performed to observe the pathological changes in the kidney tissue. Transmission electron microscopy was employed to observe mitochondrial morphology. Immunohistochemistry was employed to determine the expression levels of dynamin-related protein 1 （DRP1） and pyruvate kinase M2 （PKM2） in the kidney tissue. Western blot was adopted to assess the protein levels of PGC-1α， SIRT3， HIF-1α， dynamin-related protein 1 （Drp1）， optic atrophy 1 （OPA1）， hexokinase 2 （HK2）， and pyruvate kinase M2 （PKM2） in the kidney tissue. ResultsCompared with the sham group， the model group showed elevated levels of UmAlb， BUN， SCr， lactate， and MDA， decreased SOD level （P<0.05）， glomerular hypertrophy， thickening of the mesangial basement membrane， vacuolar degeneration of renal tubular epithelial cells， and infiltration of renal interstitial inflammatory cells， oval mitochondria with disordered， blurred or disappearing cristae， down-regulated protein levels of PGC-1α， SIRT3， and OPA1， and up-regulated protein levels of HIF-1α， DRP1， HK2， and PKM2 （P<0.05）. Compared with the model group， the treatment in all the groups increased the body weight， lowered the levels of GLU， UmAlb， BUN， and MDA， raised the level of SOD， alleviated the pathological damage in the kidney tissue and mitochondrial damage， up-regulated the expression of PGC-1α， SIRT3， and OPA1， and down-regulated the expression of HIF-1α， DRP1， and PKM2 （P<0.05）. Empagliflozin and Shenxiao Tongluo prescription at medium and high doses lowered the levels of SCr and lactate and down-regulated the expression of HK2 （P<0.05）， which had no statistical significance in the low-dose Shenxiao Tongluo prescription group. ConclusionShenxiao Tongluo prescription may regulate mitochondrial dynamics and metabolic reprogramming by activating the PGC-1α/SIRT3/HIF-1α pathway， thereby alleviating oxidative damage in the kidney tissue and delaying the progression of DN.

Objective To summarize the clinical experience of pulmonary lobectomy by uniportal video-assisted thoracoscope in parallel position.Methods The clinical data of 90 patients who underwent uniportal video-assisted thoracoscopic lobectomy in Zhongshan Hospital(Xiamen Branch),Fudan University were retrospectively analyzed.Among them,41 patients underwent lobectomy by uniportal thoracoscope in parallel position,and 49 patients underwent lobectomy by uniportal thoracoscope in non-parallel position.The perioperative related indicators of the two groups were compared.Results There was no significant statistical difference between the parallel uniportal thoracoscopic group and the non-parallel uniportal thoracoscopic group in terms of operation time[(135.2±18.1)min vs.(132.7±25.6)min],intraoperative blood loss[(100.1±27.2)mL vs.(117.3±33.5)mL],postperative extubation time[(3.0±0.7)d vs.(3.1±0.9)d],hospitalization time after operation[(4.3±1.3)d vs.(4.8±1.5)d]and relapse rate after surgery in 3 year(7.32%vs.10.20%).Conclusion Lobectomy by uniportal thoracoscope in parallel position was safe and feasible in technique.

Objective:To evaluate the effects of fine particle matter(PM2.5)and ozone(O3)com-bined exposure on adenosine triphosphate(ATP)amount and ATPase activities in nasal mucosa of Spra-gue Dawley(SD)rats.Methods:Twenty male SD rats were divided into control group(n=10)and exposure group(n=10)by random number table method.The rats were fed in the conventional clean environment and the air pollutant exposure system established by our team,respectively,and exposed for 208 d.During the exposure period,the concentrations of PM2 5 and O3 in the exposure system were moni-tored,and a comprehensive assessment of PM2 5 and O3 in the exposure system was conducted by combi-ning self-measurement and site data.On the 208 d of exposure,the core,liver,spleen,kidney,testis and other major organs and nasal mucosal tissues of the rats were harvested.Each organ was weighed and the organ coefficient calculated.The total amount of ATP was measured by bioluminescence,and the ac-tivities of Na+-K+-ATPase and Ca2+-ATPase were detected by spectrophotometry.The t test of two inde-pendent samples was used to compare the differences among the indicator groups.Results:From the 3rd week to the end of exposure duration,the body weight of the rats in the exposure group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05),and there was no significant difference in organ coefficients be-tween the two groups.The average daily PM2 5 concentration in the exposure group was(30.68±19.23)μg/m3,and the maximum 8 h ozone concentration(O3-8 h)was(82.45±35.81)μg/m3.The chemi-luminescence value(792.4±274.1)IU/L of ATP in nasal mucosa of the rats in the exposure group was lower than that in the control group(1 126.8±218.1)IU/L.The Na+-K+-ATPase activity(1.53±0.85)U/mg in nasal mucosa of the rats in the exposure group was lower than that in the control group(4.31±1.60)U/mg(P＜0.05).The protein content of nasal mucosa in the control group and the exposure group were(302.14±52.51)mg/L and(234.58±53.49)mg/L,respectively,and the ac-tivity of Ca2+-ATPase was(0.81±0.27)U/mg and(0.99±0.73)U/mg,respectively.There was no significant difference between the groups.Conclusion:The ability of power capacity decreased in the rat nasal mucossa under the sub-chronic low-concentration exposure of PM2 5 and O3.

Objective To investigate the infection status and changing trend of hepatitis C virus(HCV)infection in hospitalized patients in medical institutions,and provide reference for formulating HCV infection prevention and control strategies.Methods HCV infection surveillance results from cross-sectional survey data reported to China Healthcare-associated Infection(HAI)Surveillance System in 2020 were summarized and analyzed,HCV positive was serum anti-HCV positive or HCV RNA positive,survey result was compared with the survey results from 2003.Results In 2020,1 071 368 inpatients in 1 573 hospitals were surveyed,738 535 of whom underwent HCV test,4 014 patients were infected with HCV,with a detection rate of 68.93％and a HCV positive rate of 0.54％.The positive rate of HCV in male and female patients were 0.60％and 0.48％,respectively,with a statistically sig-nificant difference(x2=47.18,P＜0.001).The HCV positive rate in the 50-＜60 age group was the highest(0.76％),followed by the 40-＜50 age group(0.71％).Difference among all age groups was statistically signifi-cant(x2=696.74,P＜0.001).In 2003,91 113 inpatients were surveyed.35 145 of whom underwent HCV test,resulting in a detection rate of 38.57％;775 patients were infected with HCV,with a positive rate of 2.21％.In 2020,HCV positive rates in hospitals of different scales were 0.46％-0.63％,with the highest in hospital with bed numbers ranging 600-899.Patients'HCV positive rates in hospitals of different scales was statistically signifi-cant(X2=35.34,P＜0.001).In 2020,12 provinces/municipalities had over 10 000 patients underwent HCV-rela-ted test,and HCV positive rates ranged 0.19％-0.81％,with the highest rate from Hainan Province.HCV posi-tive rates in different departments were 0.06％-0.82％,with the lowest positive rate in the department of pedia-trics and the highest in the department of internal medicine.In 2003 and 2020,HCV positive rates in the depart-ment of infectious diseases were the highest,being 7.95％and 3.48％,respectively.Followed by departments of orthopedics(7.72％),gastroenterology(3.77％),nephrology(3.57％)and general intensive care unit(ICU,3.10％)in 2003,as well as departments of gastroenterology(1.35％),nephrology(1.18％),endocrinology(0.91％),and general intensive care unit(ICU,0.79％)in 2020.Conclusion Compared with 2003,HCV positive rate decreased significantly in 2020.HCV infected patients were mainly from the department of infectious diseases,followed by departments of gastroenterology,nephrology and general ICU.HCV infection positive rate varies with gender,age,and region.

Objective To explore the feasibility of quantitative EEG parameters for prognostic prediction of patients with severe aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage(SaSAH)90 d after the onset of the disease.Methods Patients with SaSAH admitted to the Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit(NSICU)of Henan Provincial People's Hospital from September 2022 to September 2023 were prospectively consecutively enrolled,and baseline data were collected,including age,gender,medical history(hypertension,diabetes mellitus,coronary artery disease,and stroke),history of smoking,history of drinking,location of aneurysm(anterior circulation,posterior circulation),surgical modality(craniotomy,interventional surgery,hybrid surgery),Hunt-Hess classification,Glasgow coma scale(GCS)score,acute physiology and chronic health status scoring system Ⅱ(APACHE Ⅱ)score,subarachnoid hemorrhage early brain edema score(SEBES),first randomized blood glucose level after admission to NSICU,lactate level,and duration of NSICU stay.Quantitative EEG monitoring was performed in all patients within 48 h after admission to the NSICU,and amplitude-integrated electroencephalogram(aEEG)upper and lower boundaries,95％spectral edge frequency(SEF95),α change,(δ+θ)to(α+β)power ratio(DTABR),brain symmetry index(BSI),and spectral entropy were collected.Based on modified Rankin scale(mRS)scores 90 d after onset,patients were categorized into good prognosis(mRS score 2 points)and poor prognosis(mRS score 3-6 points)groups.Spearman rank correlation was used to analyze the correlation between quantitative EEG parameters and mRS scores in SaSAH patients.Multifactorial Logistic regression analysis was used to screen for correlates of poor prognosis,and receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves were plotted to evaluate the efficacy of each index in predicting patients'poor prognosis.Results(1)A total of 72 patients with SaSAH were included,with 47 in the poor prognosis group and 25 in the good prognosis group,and the poor prognosis rate at 90 d after the onset was 65.3％.There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in terms of gender,age,hypertension,diabetes mellitus,coronary artery disease,history of stroke,history of smoking,history of drinking,location of aneurysm,surgical modality,lactate level,and length of hospitalization in the NSICU(all P＞0.05);the differences between the Hunt-Hess grading,SEBES,and random blood glucose were statistically significant upon comparison(all P＜0.05).Compared with the good prognosis group,the changes of aEEG upper and lower boundary,SEF95,α change and spectral entropy were lower in the poor prognosis group,but DTABR and BSI were higher(all P＜0.05).(2)Spearman rank correlation analysis showed that the upper border of aEEG(r=-0.41,P＜0.01),lower border of aEEG(r=-0.54,P＜0.01),SEF95(r=-0.46,P＜0.01),α change(r=-0.53,P＜0.01)and spectral entropy(r=-0.39,P＜0.01)were negatively correlated with the mRS scores of SaSAH patients,and DTABR(r=0.52,P＜0.01)and BSI(r=0.33,P＜0.01)were positively correlated with poor prognosis of SaSAH patients.(3)The results of multifactorial Logistic regression analysis showed that Hunt-Hess grading(level Ⅳ vs.Ⅲ:OR,1.203,95％CI 1.005-1.441,P=0.044;level V vs.Ⅲ:OR,1.661,95％CI 1.109-2.487,P=0.014),SEBES(OR,1.647,95％CI 1.050-2.586;P=0.030),aEEG lower border(OR,0.687,95％CI 0.496-0.953l;P=0.024),SEF95(OR,0.436,95％CI0.202-0.937;P=0.034),α change(OR,0.368,95％CI0.189-0.717;P=0.003),DTABR(OR,1.324,95％CI 1.064-1.649;P=0.012),and BSI(OR,1.513,95％CI 1.026-2.231;P=0.036)were influencing factors of poor prognosis in SaSAH patients.ROC curve analysis showed that all of the above seven indicators had a certain predictive value for poor prognosis in SaSAH patients,among which the area under the curve of DTABR was the highest as 0.862(95％CI 0.761-0.932),with sensitivity 85.11％and specificity 80.00％.Conclusion Quantitative EEG parameters aEEG lower border,SEF95,α change,DTABR,and BSI may have certain predictive value for the short-term prognosis of SaSAH patients,which needs to be further confirmed in future multi-center large-sample studies.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effect of manual acupuncture on endometrial blood flow parameters by three-dimensional (3D) power Doppler ultrasound in women undergoing in vitro fertilization embryo transfer (IVF-ET). METHODS: Seventy patients undergoing IVF-ET were equally randomized into traditional or sham acupuncture treatment group for totally 4 days (from the day of oocyte aspiration to the day of embryo transfer) of treatment by random envelope method at the Reproductive Medicine Center and Outpatient Department of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medicine College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology from January 2013 to December 2015. Patients in the traditional acupuncture group accepted traditional acupuncture methods with manual acupuncture, and Zhongji (CV3), Qihai (CV 6), Sanyinjiao (SP6), Taichong (LR 3), Tianshu (ST 25), Guilai (ST 29) and Zusanli (ST 36) were chosen. Patients at the sham acupuncture group accepted shallow acupuncture methods at 4 non-meridian points at each shoulder and upper arm. Outcome measures included endometrial ultrasonic indices such as vascularization index (VI), flow index (FI) and vascularization flow index (VFI), endometrial thickness and volume, subendometrial VI (sVI), subendometrial FI (sFI), subendometrial VFI (sVFI), implantation rate, clinical pregnancy rate, abortion rate, live birth rate and number of live births. RESULTS: Finally, 34 patients in the traditional acupuncture group and 35 in the sham acupuncture group completed this trial. VI, FI and VFI of the traditional acupuncture group were significantly higher than those in the sham acupuncture group (P<0.05). No significant differences were found in endometrial thickness, endometrial volume, sVI, sFI, sVFI, implantation rate, clinical pregnancy rate, abortion rate, live birth rate and number of live births (P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS Manual acupuncture performed after oocyte aspiration and before transplantation improved the endometrial blood flow parameters VI, RI and VFI in women who underwent IVF-ET, instead of sVI, sFI and sVFI. Therefore, acupuncture might be beneficial in women undergoing IVF-ET by increasing endometrial blood flow and endometrial receptivity. (Registration No. ChiCTR2100053354).

Objective To investigate the control status of bronchial asthma(referred to as"asthma")in school-age children with normal pulmonary ventilation function and the occurrence of acute attacks within 1 year of follow-up.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on clinical data of 327 children aged 6-14 years with bronchial asthma and normal pulmonary ventilation function from April to September 2021.Based on the measured value of one second rate(FEV1/FVC),the children were divided into the ≥80％group(267 cases)and the＜80％group(60 cases).The pulmonary ventilation function,asthma control level,and occurrence of acute attacks within 1 year were compared between the two groups.Results The baseline pulmonary ventilation function in the＜80％group was lower than that in the ≥80％group,and the proportion of small airway dysfunction was higher than that in the ≥80％group(P＜0.05).After standardized treatment for 1 year,the small airway function indices in the＜80％group improved but remained lower than those in the ≥80％group(P＜0.05).The rate of incomplete asthma control at baseline was 34.6％(113/327),and the asthma control level in the＜80％group was lower than that in the ≥80％group(P＜0.05).After standardized treatment for 1 year,the asthma control level in the＜80％group remained lower than that in the ≥80％group,and the proportion of acute asthma attacks was higher than that in the ≥80％group(P＜0.05).Conclusions Approximately one-third of school-age children with asthma still have incomplete asthma control when their pulmonary ventilation function is normal.Among them,children with measured FEV1/FVC＜80％have an increased risk of acute asthma attacks and require close follow-up and strengthened asthma management.

Objective: To explore the association between physical activity levels and depressive symptoms among college students, so as to provide evidence for promoting physical and mental health of college students. Methods: Using a cohort study design,a baseline survey of 1 415 college students in Shenyang Normal University in 2017 followed for three years from 2018 to 2020. The International Physical Activity Questionnaire-Short Form (IPAQ-SF) and Selfrating Depression Scale (SDS) were used to evaluate the physical activity levels and depressive symptoms of college students. According to the level of physical activity at baseline (MET ·h/week), participants were divided into three groups [T1 (≤36.4), T2 (>36.4-89.3) and T3 (>89.3)]. Logistic regression analysis was used to examine the association between baseline physical activity levels and the incidence of depressive symptoms during the school years. Results: In the 3year followup (2018-2020), 852 (60.2%) participants exhibited depressive symptoms. The numbers of individuals with depressive symptoms in the T1, T2, and T3 groups were 324, 268, and 260, respectively. Logistic regression analysis showed that college students who participated in higher levels of physical activity decreased the risk of depressive symptoms by 34.2% [T2: OR(95%CI) = 0.658 (0.500-0.866)] and 38.9% [T3:OR(95%CI)=0.611(0.465-0.804)] compared with T1 group after adjusting for demographic, lifestyle, healthrelated factors, and baseline depressive symptoms as covariates. The sexstratified analysis showed a negative correlation between physical activity levels and the incidence of depressive symptoms in female college students. Compared with T1 group, higher levels of physical activity reduced the incidence of depressive symptoms by 39.6% [T2: OR(95%CI)=0.604(0.445-0.820)] and 37.7% [T3: OR(95%CI)=0.623(0.459-0.846)], respectively (P<0.01). However, there was no significant correlation between physical activity levels and depressive symptoms in male college students (P>0.05). Conclusions There is an inverse relationship between physical activity levels and depressive symptoms. The findings suggest that schools should reduce the risk of depressive symptoms by promoting physical activity levels among college students.
