2.Sonography of gallbladder adenomyoma and pathologic correlation
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2010;33(8):18-19
Objective To explore the features of gallbladder adenomyoma in sonogram, and improve the abilities of diagnosis and differential diagnosis. Method Sonograms of 8 patients with proven gallbladder adenomyoma were retrospectively analyzed and correlated with pathologic findings. Results Eight patients had sonographic evidence of localized intramural nodular, which were round-like and hypoechoic, with anechoic space and tiny bright echos, confined almost exclusively to the fundus of gallbladder. Five patients were also evident with associated gallstones and chronic cholecytitis. Conclusion Sonograms of gallbladder adenomyoma have marked features, which can be differentially diagnosed from other projective lesions of gallbladder.
3.Diagnostic value of color Doppler ultrasonography in hematoma of soft tissues
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2009;32(17):24-26
Objective To study the diagnostic value of color Doppler ultrasonography in hematoma of soft tissues, and compare the images of different period of hematoma. Method Analyzed and compared the size, shape and sonographic characteristic of 46 cases with hematoma. Results The images of hematoma were round or oval in shape, more than 2.0 cm in trans-diameter, and were isoechoic or hypocchoic in the early stage, then anoechoic areas increased with hyperechoic septum and irregular hypoechoic, with posterior enhancement and hyperechoic boundary. A part of muscle fibres raptured and were occupied by the hematoma if the muscle tore. Conclusion Color Doppler ultrasonography can be the first choice and reliable imaging method to diagnose hematoma of soft tissues.
4.Metagenomics:New Strategy for Soil Microbiology Research

Microbiology 1992;0(03):-
Most of the soil microorganisms are unculturable, which limits the exploitation and application of microbial resources.Metagenomics has great potential in the research of unculturable microorganisms in soil.Progress on the research of metagenomic DNA purification, metagenomic library construction and screening of soil microorganisms are reviewed briefly.
5. Role of chemokine receptor CXCR3 in immune diseases
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;31(12):1363-1365
The roles of chemokine and chemokine receptor family in immune diseases are drawing increasing attention, as they are very important in maintaining cell survival, inducing gene expression, directly guiding cell migration and regulating immunity. The paper reviews the expression and possible roles of chemokine receptor CXCR3 and its ligands in immune diseases, as well as the latest therapies targeting them.

Journal of Integrative Medicine 2007;5(4):412-5
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the molecular mechanism of Huanglian Jiedu Decoction (HLJDD), a traditional Chinese compound herbal medicine, in treating type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) by observing its effects on glucose transporter 4 (GLUT4) protein expression and translocation in adipose and skeletal muscle tissues of rats with T2DM. METHODS: T2DM was induced in rats by intravenous injection of a small dose of streptozotocin (STZ, 30 mg/kg) plus high fat and high caloric laboratory chow. Then animals were divided into untreated group, aspirin-treated group and HLJDD-treated group. Normal rats fed with common chow were designated as normal control group. Ten weeks later, the oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) was performed in all animals, and the changes of murine body weight, fasting blood glucose (FBG), fasting serum insulin (FINS) and the expression of GLUT4 protein in skeletal muscle and adipose tissues before and after insulin treatment were routinely determined. RESULTS: Compared with the untreated group, the result of OGTT of HLJDD-treated group was improved. The levels of the body weight and FBG were decreased, while the GLUT4 protein expression and translocation were elevated obviously. CONCLUSION: It is suggested by the present results that the therapeutic effects of HLJDD on T2DM might be related to its ability of increasing GLUT4 protein expression and translocation in adipose and skeletal muscle tissues of T2DM rats.

Infectious endophthalmitis refers to the acute suppurative inflammation of the uveal and retinal, with acute onset, severe symptoms, and poor prognosis.Early diagnosis and effective treatment is particularly important.Based on the way of intraocular infection, endophthalmitis can be divided into endogenous endophthalmitis and exogenous endophthalmitis. In the East Asian, liver abscess is the main source of endogenous endophthalmitis, and Klebsiella pneumoniae is the main pathogen.Liver abscess endophthalmitis is a serious cause of blindness caused by intraocular infection.A liver infection disseminated through hematogenous and the primary focus was hidden, which makes the disease was easy to be confused with immune related uveitis, causing high misdiagnosis rate, delaying the best time for diagnosis and treatment. In this article we reviewed the etiology, clinical features, diagnosis and treatment and prognosis of endogenous endophthalmitis caused by liver abscess.Clinicians should maintain a high index of suspicion to the endogenous endophthalmitis caused by liver abscess.

Chinese Journal of Endemiology 2001;20(2):148-150
Relevant literatures on the relationship betw een fluorosis and oxidative stress were reviewed.Based on most of the original papers published in recent years,we can see the increased free radicals and oxidative stress may occur in certain stage of fluoride intoxication, but confirmation of the causality between oxidative stress and fluoride-induced damages still remains much work to do.

International Eye Science 2015;(4):701-703
AIM: To compare the clinical efficacy and safety of phacoemulsification and small incision non -phacoemulsification cataract surgery, and provide better options for clinical cataract treatment.
METHODS: According to the different operation methods, 98 cases of simple senile cataract patients in our hospital were divided into control group and treatment group, 49 cases in each. The control group received ultrasonic emulsification operation treatment; treatment group were treated by small incision non -phacoemulsification. Visual acuity, astigmatism values, average operation time, and complications were compared between two groups before and after operation.
RESULTS: There was no significant difference in preoperative corneal astigmatism values of two groups at 3mo between two groups (P>0. 05). On other times, vision and corneal astigmatism were obviously better than those before operation (P<0. 05). The average vision, corneal astigmatism values and complications incidence of two group at operation time and different postoperative time had no statistical difference (P>0. 05). When the lens nucleus hardness was at Ⅰ~Ⅲ level, corneal endothelial cell count of two groups had no significant difference ( P>0.05). When the lens nucleus hardness was at Ⅳ ~ Ⅴlevel, there was statistical difference (P<0. 05).
CONCLUSION: Small incision non-phacoemulsification cataract surgery has the similarly efficacy compared with phacoemulsification. It should be based on the actual situation of the hardness of nuclear to select the appropriate surgical treatment.
