2.CD4+ T cells and cerebral ischemia
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2013;21(9):717-720
Inflammation and immune response are the key parts in pathophysiological processes of cerebral ischemia.CD4+ T cells play an important role in it.This article reviews the roles and mechanisms of each subtype of CD4+ T cells in cerebral ischemia in order to provide the basis for the treatment of cerebral ischemia with CD4 + T cells as targets.

Objective To explore the influence of helicobacter pylori(Hp) on gastric motor function in children with chronic gastrictis. Methods Forty-seven children with chronic gastrictis were classified into Hp positive and negative groups according to Hp and histology exa-mination.Each child underwent gastric emptying test of solid by using nuclide method and electrogastrogram(EGG) examination. These cases with Hp-positive acceptted these triple eradication therapy[clarithromycin 15 mg/(kg?d),amoxicillin 50 mg/(kg?d),omeprazole 0.8 mg/(kg?d)]for 2 weeks, and underwent EGG examination again after eradicating Hp.Results The half emptying time(GET_1/2)in Hp-positive gastric group were significantly longer than those in Hp-negative group(t=6.403 P

Objective TO study the effect of trimetazidine on patients with unstable angina pectoris. Methods The pa-tients with unstable anglna pectoris with routine treatment were divided randomly into trimetazidine group(T) and nitro-glycerin group(N). They were given such treatment two weeks. Results There is decreased incidence of angina pectorisand less amount of nitroglycerin consumption in both groups. compared with before. There was no significant difference be-tween the two groups. Conclusion There are no signficantly. Trimetazidine has a definite effect in treating unstable angi-na pectoris, and it is similar to nitroglycerin in effects.

The purpose of our studies was to investigate the relation between the condition of the adrenal and the growth of Sarcoma 180 (S_(180)) in mice. The hybrid Swiss mice were used and divided into four groups: (1) the normal mice for control, male and female, each one half, (2) testectomized mice, (3) female mice with natural resistance to S_(180), (4) S_(180)-bearing mice. The tissue slices of adrenal were stained with H. E. method. The adranal cortex was subdivided into eight zones according as I. C. Jones' opinion. The area of each zone in the cortex was measured by microscope and the weight of each adrenal was obtained with the 10~(-4) scales. The results of our studies are explained as follows:1. When the body weight of the normal adult mice increased, the adrenal weight did not increase. But there was obvious difference of adrenal weights between the normal adult male and female, the former was smaller and the later was larger.2. After S_(180) was implanted into the mice, the adrenal weight rapidly and markedly increased with the growth of S_(180) (P

Object To study the degree of deacetylation of chitosan and its residual amount left over in the clarified products when chitosan was used as a clarificant. Methods The free amino group in the deacetylated chitosan was determined by linear titration. Results The degree of deacetylation of chitosan was found to be about 80%. The residual amounts left over in the clarified products were lower than 10 -4 . Conclusion The results suggested that it is feasible to use chitosan as a clarificant for refining water extract of TCM.

Purpose:To study the clinical and pathological characteristics of multicentric angiofollicular lymph node hyperplasia (MCD).Methods:Eight patients with histologic diagnosis of angiofollicular lymph node hyperplasia (CD) were identified in the pathologic data base. The lymph node lesions were categorized as PC,Mix and HV types according to the criteria described by Frizzera. Patient with MCD had to have histology of CD within at least one regional group of lymph nodes and all underwent extensive lymphadenectomy. Results:The histologic features of 8 patients were six with PC,one with Mix and one with HV.Five patients presented with systemic symptoms. Three patients had splenomegaly and hapatomegaly. Five patients had local recurrence. Conclusions:MCD tends to recur and has a progressive clinical course with potential for malignancy ,and further study is needed to clarify the pathogenesis. Close follow-up and periodic surveillance are necessary to detect minimal disease and secondary malignant lesions. The patients with MCD should be candidates for multimodality therapy.

Objective: To study the effects of clarificant chitosan on contents of zinc, manganese, calcium and heavy metal lead in the water extraction liquid of chinese herbal medicines. Methods: The contents of these elements were determined by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Results: The results indicated that the chitosan clarification could raise the transfer rate of some inorganic elements such as zinc, manganese and calcium as compared with water extraction and alcohol precipitation method,And it could also reduce the amount of heavy metal lead. Conclusion: chitosan as a clarificant is promising in the field of refining water extraction liquid of chinese herbal medicines.

Objective To study the expression of PIM-1 in prostate cancer (PCa) and its clinical significance. Methods Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction ( RT-PCR) analysis was used to determine the expression level of PIM-1 mRNA in 2 cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia ( BPH) samples and 5 cases of PCa samples, and immunohistochemical analysis was used to investigate PIM-1 protein expression in 20 cases of BPH, 20 cases of high grade-prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia ( HGPIN) and 42 cases of PCa tissues. The immunohistochemical staining intensity was scored as negative, weak, moderate and strong positive. Results The expression level of PIM-1 mRNA in 5 cases of PCa was 0. 63 , 0. 55 , 0. 42, 0. 91 and 0. 76 ; the level in 2 cases of BPH was 0. 26 and 0. 27 , respectively. The negative rates of expression of PIM-1 protein in BPH, HGPIN and PCa tissues were 60% ( 12/20) , 20% (4/20) and 2% (1/42) ,the weak positive rates of the expression were 40% (8/12) , 20% (4/20) and 12% (5/42) , while the moderate to strong positive rates of the expression of PIM-1 protein was 0 (0/20) , 60% ( 12/20) and 86% (36/42) , respectively. Immunohistochemical analysis showed PIM-1 protein expression in PCa was higher than those in HGPIN and BPH(all P
