Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2012;11(5):466-468
Due accomplishments in the research of medical humanities and social science in higher medical college was failed to achieve due to the problems of improper intellectual structure of the researchers, prejudices toward this discipline,non-mainstream,non-profession and poor research environment. This article brings forward three proposals which may improve the research of medical humanities and social science, namly the establishment of independent discipline, the system of training and practice for researchers and the construction of problem-centered interdisciplinary research platform.

Objective To compare CT perfusion changes of patients 1 month after living liver transplantation with healthy volunteers. Methods Twenty perioperative patients without complications and 25 healthy volunteers underwent dynamic multi-slice CT scan. On each targeted slice, liver was divided into 3 regions of interest (ROI) according to hepatic venous drainage, i.e. anterior segment area drained by middle hepatic veins (MHV) which was most likely congested, risk area drained by both MHV and RHV which was posterior to anterior segment, reference area drained by RHV. Perfusion parameters and relative perfusion difference were calculated. Results The relative perfusion differences of anterior segment and risk area in study group were as follows: BF 44.56±43.19 vs 25.41±27.49 [ml/(min〖DK〗·100 g)]; BV 3.91±2.45 vs 2.15±1.86(ml/100 g); PVP 41.50±39.15 vs 22.66±23.82 [ml/(min·100 g)]. Significant differences of RPDs of BF, BV and PVP were found in anterior segment (P<0.0001) and risk area (P<0.01) compared with control group. Conclusion In perioperative period, there are hemodynamic differences in hepatic segments drained by RHV and MHV. BF, BV, PVP of anterior segment decreases obviously.

Chinese Journal of Radiation Oncology 1992;0(01):-
Purpose: To evaluate the significance of elective splenectomy for Hodgkin's lymphoma. Materials and Methods: Elective splenectomy, total node irradiation (TNI) and chemotherapy (COPP) were performed in 36 patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma from May, 1979 to June, 1988. Result: Spleen invasion was proved in nine of eleven patients with Stage Ⅲ B MC who had been revealed as positive by or splenomegaly before. In stage Ⅲ B patients who were treated by total node irradiation (TNI), the leucopenia was lower in patients who received splenectomy (n=14) than those of without splenectomy (n=12)(P

Objective To analyze the early CT manifestation of middle cerebral artery infarction(mMCAI).Method The case-control study of 36 cases with pairs were reviewed through comparative study for mMCAI cases and controls who had acute cerebral middle artery infarction but non-malignant,the two groups severely matched at age and sex. Results As the criteria of predictable the mMCAI,such as the insular ribbon sign, hypodensity development, hemispheric brain swelling, midline shift exhibited high specificity(80 6%,88 3%,97 2%,100%,respectively),but low sensitivity(52 8%,44 4%,16 7%,25%,respectively),Youdon Index

Drug delivery system in tumor targeting research has always been a difficult problem.Apoptosis in vitro experiments and body pharmacokinetic experiments can not reflect the targeting of drug delivery system indirectly.Imaging techniques both in vivo and in vitro solve the problem, researchers can not only observe the drug delivery system in the target organ, the target tissue and target cell directly, but also analyze quantitatively and qualitatively.

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2014;30(6):534-537
miRNAs (microRNAs) are small RNA which regulate gene expressions at the post-transcriptional level.Recently studies have suggested that miRNA is associated with the development of diabetes mellitus and its complications. This artcle reviews the regulation of miRNA in diabetes mellitus and its cardiovascular complications, and the biomarkers' value and application of miRNA in the treatment of diabetes mellitus, aiming to develop new insight for the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes mellitus.

International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2015;(13):1861-1863
Objective To investigate the clinical distribution of carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae(CRE)strains separated in this hospital and the situation of its production of carbapenem enzyme. Methods The production of carbapenem enzyme by CRE strains was confirmed by using modified Hodge test, the situation of the production of metallo-beta-lactamases by CRE strains was screened by using imipenem-EDTA double-disk synergy test, and the clinical distribution of CRE strains was retrospectively ana-lysed.Results 37 strains of CRE isolated in this laboratory were screened by using instrument method and verified by using disk diffusion (K-B)method.It showed an increasing trend from 2012 to 2014 in the amount of CRE strains. In terms of bacterial spe-cies,K.pneumonia(1 6 strains)was the main kind of carbopenems-resistant strains, followed by E.coli(6 strains),Ser.marcescens(6 strains)and E.cloacae(4 strains).CRE strains were mainly isolated from geriatric ward and intensive care unit(ICU).Sputum,u-rine and blood specimen were key sources of CRE strains.Modified Hodge test confirmed that 36 strains of CRE were the strains that can produce carbapenemase, including 4 strains of K.pneumonia,3 strains of E.cloacae, and 1 strain of E.asburiae, and strains producing metallo-beta-lactamases were confirmed by using imipenem-EDTA double-disk synergy test. Conclusion Elderly patients with underlying diseases are susceptible population of CRE hospital infection and are primary preventive targets. The principal mechanism of carbapenem-resistant CRE strains in this hospital is the production of carbapenemase and production of metallo-β-lac-tamases in a small number of strains.

OBJECTIVE:To discuss the role of clinical pharmacist participating in drug therapy for severe ulcerative colitis (UC)during late pregnancy. METHODS:Clinical pharmacists participated in the therapy for a UC patients during late pregnancy, assisted the doctors to optimize and improve drug therapy plan from antidiarrheal,anti-intestinal inflammation, regulating intestinal flora, recovering damaged mucosa;suggested regimen was as follows:montmorillonite powder 3 g,pr,qd,to avoid drug interac-tion;hydrocortisone 100 mg,ivgtt, bid to resist intestinal inflammation;prednisone 30 mg,po,qd+20 mg,po,qn,instead after symptom relieved;stopping taking Bifid triple viable capsules, supplementing Human serum albumin injection,Nutrients,Potassi-um chloride injection,Concentrated sodium chloride injection, etc. RESULTS:The suggestion provided by clinical pharmacists was adopted by doctors, and the patient was recovered. There was no significant difference in the intelligence development, body weight and height charge between born baby boy and infants with same month age. CONCLUSIONS:Clinical pharmacists assist physician to optimize and improve drug therapy plan to promote rational drug use in the clinic and guarantee the safety of drug use.

Objective To research the operation method for hypospadias by one-stage urethroplasty. Methods According to the length of urethra defect,18 cases were operated by using one-stage urethroplasty with perineal and preputial island flaps. Results 16 cases were successful in all patients(88.9%),except one case of urethrostenosis and urethral fistula respective. The case of urethrostenosis recovered by dilation of urethra after 5 months and the patient of urethral fistula was successfully repaired by operation after 8 months. All patients were followed up for 6~26 months with satisfactory penis and micturition. Conclusion The technique of one-stage urethroplasty by using perineal and preputial island flaps is the one of best choices for hypospadias.
