Objective To evaluate three dimensional digital subtraction angiography (3D DSA) in endovascular treatment of carotid stenosis. Methods In 138 patient with ischemic stroke, the shape and stenosis of carotid artery, the feasibility of endovascular treatment and the choice of the stent were analyzed by 2D DSA and 3D DSA. Results Comparing with 2D DSA,3D DSA could clearly depict the carotid artery in shape and stenosis with correct figuring of the feasibility for endovascular treatment and choice of the stent. Conclusions 3D DSA shows the major importance in endovascular treatment of carotid stenosis providing more valuable informations than 2D DSA.

Objective Try to find out the feasibility and curative effect of the treatment of DAVF with stenosed drainage vein by implantation of stent.Methods A patient of complicated DAVF with stenosed drainage vein ,stent was implanted in the stenosed drainage vein to improve the function of vien. Results The procedure was successful. The symptom of the patient improved obviously. Cerebral angiography after six month revealed the fine shape and location of the stent. The fistulas of lateral sinus and sigmoid sinus showed no obvious change comparing with the formers.Conclusions The treatment of DAVF with stenosed drainage vein by implantation of stent is feasible. The short term curative effect is satisfactory and the long-term one is still wait for follow-up.

Results Comparing with 2D DSA,3D DSA can clearly depicted the carotid artery shape and stenosis.3D DSA can correctly judge the feasibility of endovascular treatment,can correctly choose the stent.Conclusions 3D DSA is very important in endovascular treatment of carotid stenosis.It can provide many valuable information for endovascular treatmen that 2D DSA can not provide.

Objective To analyze the coincidence of the patients with capillary electrophoresis hemoglobin A 2 increase with defi-nitely diagnosed beta thalassaemia and to investigate its application value in the diagnosis of beta thalassaemia.Methods Two hundreds and sixty outpatients and inpatients with hemoglobin A 2 increase in our hospital from May 2014 to May 2015 were per-formed the genetic testing.Results Among 260 patients with hemoglobin A2 increase ,beta thalassemia gene mutations were detec-ted in 257 cases ,the coincidence rate reached 98.85% ,and the common 17 beta thalassemia gene mutations were not detected in the other 3 cases ,follow-up further detection of rare beta thalassaemia gene and beta globin gene sequencing was performed ,1 case of SEA-HPFH βdeletion type was found ,1 case was Taiwaneseβdeletion type and 1 case was Codon 89-93(-AGT GAG CTG CAC TG) heterozygous mutation ,it was verified that 3 cases of hemoglobin A2 increase without detecting 17 kinds of common beta thalassemia gene mutations were still beta chain mutation occurrence or big fragment deletion.At the same time ,among 257 speci-mens of beta thalassemia gene mutations ,42 cases were compound alpha thalassaemia ,accounting for 16.34% of beta thalassaemia. Conclusion Capillary electrophoresis hemoglobin A2 increase can provide a fast and accurate basis for beta thalassemia diagnosis , but which can not rule out the possibility of compoound alpha thalassaemia ,when the patient's hemoglobin A2 is increased ,alpha and beta thalassaemia genetic diagnosis should be simultaneously carried out.

Objective To investigate the serum procalcitonin (PCT) levels in sepsis caused by the bacteria,virus and mycoplasma and explore the role of PCT in etiology diagnosis of sepsis in children.Methods Three hundreds and thirty critically ill children with sepsis caused by bacteria,virus and mycoplasma admitted in PICU of Hunan Children' s Hospital from Feb 1,2011 to Sep 1,2012 were reviewed and analyzed.The PCT levels were measured at admission and day 3.The differences in accidence of sepsis caused by bacteria,viruses and mycoplasma according to different serum PCT levels were analyzed.The differences of PCT levels at admission and day 3 in sepsic children caused by bacteria,viruses and mycoplasma were analyzed.Results The level of serum PCT in sepsis caused by bacterial infection were distinctly increased,caused by virus and mycoplasma infections was not obvious but the increases of serum PCT [0.71 (8.14)ng/ml,0.15 (1.68) ng/ml,0.28 (1.89) ng/ml].According to various PCT levels(0.05 ～ ng/ml,0.5 ～ng/ml,2 ～ ng/ml,10 ～ 300 ng/ml),the differences of accidence of sepsis caused by bacteria,virus and mycoplasma were also statistically significant(x2 =84.50,P ＜ 0.01).The PCT level of septic children caused by bacterial infection in day 3 was significantly decreased compared with that at admission [0.32 (5.68) ng/ml vs 0.71 (8.14) ng/ml] (U =19.34,P ＜0.05).Conclusion PCT plays a certain role in etiology diagnosis of sepsis in children.The increased PCT levels which can be reduced by anti-inflammatory treatment indicate the likelihood of bacterial infection and sepsis.The increase of PCT induced by viral and mycoplasma infections is not obvious,but bacterial infection can not be completely ruled out.

Objective To investigate effect of different doses of rosuvastatin on brachial artery endothelium-dependent vasodilation and carotid intima-media thickness in patients with coronary heart disease.Methods 92 patients with coronary heart disease in our hospital were admitted and divided into four groups according to randomly digital method, including 23 cases in control group were treated with lipid nitrate, antiplatelet aggregation, anticoagulant, lowering blood sugar, blood pressure control and other of conventional therapy;23 cases in group A, on the basis of conventional therapy, were treated with rosuvastatin 5 mg/d, orally, once daily;23 cases in group B were treated with rosuvastatin 10 mg/d, orally, once daily based on the conventional therapy;23 cases in group C were treated with rosuvastatin 20 mg/d, orally, once daily based on conventional treatment, each group was treated for 8 weeks.Brachial artery endothelium-dependent vasodilation (FMD) and carotid intima-media thickness (IMT) of patients before and after treatment were collected by color ultrasonic doppler, while observed lipid levels changes of 4 groups.Results Control group was treated for eight weeks, FMD, ITM, blood lipid levels and each index values were not significantly changed, the difference was not statistically significant;After treatment, total cholesterol ( TC) , low-density lipoprotein cholesterol C ( LDL-C) of A, B, C groups were significantly better than that before treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), and decrease amplitude with dose of rosuvastatin increased became grearer, but the total cholesterol (TC), high density lipoprotein cholesterol C( HDL-C) there was no significant difference compared with before treatment; Compared with before treatment, ITM of A, B, C groups decreased, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), decrease amplitude with dose of rosuvastatin increased became greater.Conclusion Rosuvastatin can significantly improve brachial artery endothelium-dependent vasodilation and carotid intima-media thickness in patients with coronary heart disease, and there is a clear dose-response relationship, which may be associated with rosuvastatin decrease total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol C in patients with coronary heart disease.It has guide significance to clinical.

Objective To explore the safety of fat reduction treated by non invasive focused ultrasound.Methods A randomized double-blind and negative control clinical trial was carried out on the excess fat of 40 subjects' abdomen by a JCS-01 non-invasive focused ultrasound device.Subjects received treatments with the device on day 1 and day 7.Observations on the area treated and inquiries on feelings were conducted during treatments.Before the first treatment and 14 days after the treatment,laboratory examinations were performed,including liver function,blood lipid tests,etc.Results 40 subjects participated in the trial and 36 subjects (18 each in both treatment and control groups) accomplished 2 times of treatments,all followed-up and laboratory examinations.During the process of treatments,4 subjects in the experimental group complained about feelings of tepidity or pricking.One subject on blood test of triglyceride showed slightly higher than her early normal result,which fell to the normal level at reexamination.Conclusions Subjects treated by non-invasive focused ultrasound at the area of no more than 500 cm2 every time and at an interval of 6 days manifest little changes on the blood test results,with slightly local reactions but no complaints during follow-up.

Objective To explore DSA findings curative measures and effects of bronchial arterial embolization(BAE)of bronchiectasis with massive hemoptysis. Methods 35 patients with massive hemoptysis due to bronchiectasis were performed selective bronchial arterial DSA and BAE referring to image data of chest plain film and CT. Embolic materials were polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)and/or gelatinum sponge particles. Curative effects were followed-up for 3 months to 3 years. Results ①DSA revealed bronchial artery as being the only abnormal vessel accounted for 74.3%,bronchial artry combined with nonbronchial systemic artery as 22.9% and only non-bronchial artery involved 2.9%. Abnormal vessel number was 1 -5(mean 1.8) per case. Direct and indirect bleeding sign was displayed as 25.7% and 100% respectively. ②Curative and embolization effects were shown as 61 target vessels of 34 patients being embolized and total effective rate reaching 85.3%; of which 16 cases were adopted super-selective technique,1 case was failure of stopping bleeding for two times within 3 days,4 cases recurred within 3 months and 2 cases recurred over 3 months; with recurrent rate of 20.6%,but no serious complications such as spinal cord injury. Conclusions DSA examination and selective BAE of bronchiectasis with massive hemoptysis could provide high positive angiographic features and reliable curative effect.
