Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL),as a kind of highly aggressive non-Hodgkin's lymphoma,is characterized by malignant B cell infiltration of lymph node, gastrointestinal tract and bone marrow.Patients suffering from MCL are prone to drug resistance or progression of disease. The 55th ASH annual meeting about MCL explored all aspects. In preclinical research aspects:new mutations including ATM,POT1 and tumor microenvironment further improved the pathogenesis mechanism of MCL.In prognostic indicators, minimal residual disease detected by molecular techniques and whole genome methylation analysis provided new tools for monitoring MCL prognosis and curative effect to guide further risk stratification and individual treatment.Exploration of high effective and low toxic side effective treatment strategies for elderly MCL patients has become a major focus of the meeting.Chemoimmunotherapy including Lenalidomide, bendamustine, rituximab and autologous stem cell transplantation provide more options for the treatment of elderly MCL patients.Novel drugs such as ibrutinib,ABT-199 and MLN8237 have shown encouraging results in preclinical trials which provide new hope for MCL patients.

Chinese Journal of Dermatology 2013;46(8):570-573
Objective To screen differentially expressed microRNAs at different stages of hair cycle in a murine model. Methods This study included 30 inbred female C57BL/6 mice (age,6-8 weeks; body weight,15-18 grams).Hair growth cycle was induced in the back skin of C57BL/6 mice by application of wax/rosin followed by depilation under anesthesia witl 1% chloral hydrate.Three mice were sacrificed by cervical dislocation on day 0,8 and 20 after the induction, and skin tissue was achieved from the same depilated areas parallel to the spine.Total RNAs were extracted from the murine skin and subjected to microarray analysis of microRNA expression. Results Compared with telogen skin, the murine anagen skin showed a higher expression of miR-690,obselote-49 and miR-1308,but a lower expression of miR-291a-5p and miR-212.The expressions of miR-690,obselote-49 and miR-31 were significantly up-regulated,while those of miR-127-3p and miR-212 were downregulated in the catagen skin in comparison with the telogen skin. Conclusion Seven microRNAs are identified in this study to be differentially expressed in murine skin between different stages of hair cycle, which may provide a direction for future research.

Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2015;24(1):17-19,26
Peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL) is a group of highly heterogeneous and aggressive non-Hodgkin's lymphoma with poor prognosis under current treatment algorithm.Reports on treatment of PTCL in the 56th American Society of Hematology (ASH) annual meeting cover comprehensive aspects, among which exploration of effective low-toxicity treatment strategies for patients with PTCL is coming into the focus of this meeting.THP-COP regimen, romidepsin, bortezomib alone or in combination with panobinostat, brentuximab vedotin and stem cell transplantation provide more attractive options for both untreated and refractory/relapsed patients with PTCL,while novel drugs including Duvelisib (IPI-145),crizotinib and antiPD-1 antibody offer new hope for patients with PTCL.

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for rational use of analgesic drugs for advanced cancer, moderate to severe pain. METHODS:The data of narcotic drugs and first type psychotropic drugs were collected from hospital information system of a third grade class A hospital during 2012-2014,and then analyzed in respects of amount, consumption sum and DDDs,etc. RE-SULTS:The amount of narcotic drugs and first type psychotropic drugs kept stable basically, and the consumption sum of them during 2012-2014 was 1 566 289.92 yuan,1 525 220.23 yuan and 1 531 277.44 yuan. The consumption sum of Morphine hydrochlo-ride tablet increased the fastest, increasing by 89.78% in 2013 and 142.81% in 2014,compared with the year before;those of other drugs had negative growth rate. DDDs of Morphine hydrochloride sustained-release tablets were the highest among all the narcotics and first type psychotropic drugs and increased year by year, increasing from 26 848.00 in 2012 to 47 158.00 in 2014. CONCLU-SIONS:The use of narcotic drugs and first type psychotropic drugs conform to the specifications, but they still need strict supervi-sion to promote safe and effective use of them in the clinic.

Objective To induce the experimental corneal neovascularization(CRNV) by alkali burn, and explore the methods for quantitative analysis of CRNV and observation of permeability of CRNV. Methods Thirty-six C57BL/6 mice were selected and divided into experiment group(n=30) and control group(n=6).For the experiment group, alkali burn was induced by application of filter paper with 1mol/L sodium hydroxide to the cornea for 5 s.For the control group,no intervention was conducted.Areas of CRNV were measured on day 4,7,10 and 14 after alkali burn.Histological examinations of cornea were performed with HE staining on day 3, 7,10,16 and 28 after alkali burn.On day 10,endothelial cell marker CD31 was used with immunohistochemical staining for CRNV counting, and fluorescence angiography(FA) was employed to reveal the permeability of CRNV.Corneal ulceration and hyphema were observed everyday. Results CRNV developed after alkali burn, and extincted afterwards.Axenic coneal ulceration and hyphema were frequently observed, with the incidences of 6.7% and 10.0%,respectively.Histologic changes of corneal tissues at different time points could be observed with HE staining. On day 10, CRNV could be labeled and counted with immunohistochemical staining for CD31 antibody, and the permeability of CRNV could be detected by FA. ConclusionCRNV counting with immunohistochemical staining for CD31 antibody and measurement of area of CRNV are appropriate methods for quantitative analysis of CRNV.FA is an effective method in the detection of permeability of CRNV.

Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2015;(14):1117-1118
As the urgent need of both clinic and research, the identification of hypertonia subtypes is becoming more and more important. Hypertonia assessment tool is a standardized discriminative measure with good reliability and validity. Hypertonia assessment tool can identify paediatric hypertonia subtypes. For its easily learning,it can be easily generalized in clinician.
