Pulmonary hypertension has now become a common diseases threaten to human health .There are many factors that can cause pulmonary hypertension , such as heredity, immune injury, inflammation and endothelial function damage , etc.In recent years, studies have found that patients with pulmonary hypertension commonly have the phenomenon of iron deficiency , and intravenous iron agent can improve that , but the specific mechanism is unclear .Iron in the human body mainly is controlled by a protein called hepcidin, it inhibits iron flow from the gastrointestinal to the blood .Thus, intravenous iron administration can provide new options for the treatment of pulmonary hypertension .This paper reviews the progress of the iron deficiency and pulmonary hypertension .
3.Influence of PDZK1 on the initiation and development of gastric cancer via PDGFR-β pathway
International Journal of Surgery 2013;40(7):471-474
As the second cause of cancer relative deaths, gastric cancer's different biological characteristics lead to obviously different treatment results and prognosis. The mechanism to determine the initiation, lead to obviously different development and the biological characreristics of gastric cancer is doctors' interest.Recently,platelet-de-rived growth factor receptor-β (PDGFR-β) become one of hot research fields, its excessive activation and abnormal expression can induce tumor angiogenesis, and promote tumor growth, and can also degrade extracellular matrix, reduce the number of cell adhesion molecular.Through these,PDGFR-β was directly or indirectly involved in tumor invasion and metastasis.PDZK1 can bind with PDGFR-β specifically and futher affect the downstream of PDGFR-β signaling pathway (Ras-MAPK signaling pathway, the PI3K-Akt signaling pathway,PLC signaling pathway),and then affect cell proliferation, differentiation and migration.

Objective To explore the operative approaches of gastric stromal tumor, and to evaluate the treatment effect of various operation methods. Methods The clinical and pathological data of 96 cases of gastric stromal tumor treated in People's Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from Jan 2011 to Jun 2015 were analyzed retrospectively. 16 cases got laparoscopic resection, 48 cases got gastroscope and laparoscopic combined resection, and 42 cases got open resection. Results For patients with tumor diameter < 2 cm and 2-5 cm, the operation time, intraoperative bleeding and postoperative hospitalization days in the laparoscopic group were better than those in the laparotomy group (P < 0.05), but the postoperative complications and metastasis or mortality in the laparoscopic group didn't have the advantage compared with the laparotomy group (P > 0.05). For patients with tumor diameter > 5 cm, the operation time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative hospitalization days, postoperative complications, and postoperative metastasis of mortality in the laparoscopic group didn't have the advantage compared with the laparotomy group (P > 0.05). Conclusion Different diameter of gastric stromal tumor should adopt different surgical methods and ways, the indication is strict, otherwise easy to cause tumor residual or disseminated planting.
5.Evaluation of the clinical effectiveness of silicone oil removal in high myopia with macular hole by optical coherence tomography
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2012;30(1):67-71
Background The recurrent rate of retinal detachment is much higher after silicone oil removal in high myopia with macular hole. How reduce the recurrence is a hot topic.Whether optical coherence tomography (OCT)-assisted examination is helpful for the improvement of surgery successful rate is in clinical observation ObjectiveThis study was to observe macular retinal status before silicone oil removal in eyes with macular holerelated retinal detachment in highly myopic eyes by OCT and evaluate the factors that influence successful silicone oil removal.MethodsFifty-five eyes of 49 consecutive patients who received vitreoretinal surgery for highly myopic retinal detachment caused by macular hole from January 2005 to December 2008 were involved, and 45 eyes of 40 patients who underwent silicone oil tamponade were retrospectively analyzed.Three to six months after vitreoretinal surgery combined with silicone oil tamponade, removal of silicone oil was performed based on the macular appearance on the OCT and the patients were followed up for over 1 year. The OCT manifestation of macular hole and the best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) were compared between before vitrectomy combined with silicone oil tamponade surgery, and after removal of silicone oil.The healing of the macular hole was classified into type Ⅰ and Ⅱ healing according to the OCT results.ResultsThe retina at the macular area completely reattached in 40 eyes(88.89% )before removal of silicone, and the margin of the macular hole had disappeared in 2 of the 40 eyes, showing type Ⅰ heal.Thirty-eight eyes were determined to exhibit type Ⅱ healing, presenting with a visible hole margin and local defection of nervous fiber layer. Two years after the removal of silicone, retinal detachment reappeared in 1 eye with type Ⅱ heal. The BCVAs were 1.93±0.06 and 1.16±0.07 before and 1 year after removal of silicone, respectively, showing a significant difference between them(P =0.00).ConclusionsOCT is a useful tool for the prediction of anatomic outcomes in macular hole-related retinal detachment eyes with high myopia.Silicone oil removal can be performed in macular hole closure eye or attached-well hole edge eye based on OCT examination. However, attachedwell hole edge eye should receive longer follow-up time.

Chinese Journal of Dermatology 2010;43(11):792-795
Objective To analyze the impact of tripterygium glycosides (TG) on the expression of CXCR3 and CCR4 gene in peripheral blood mononuclear cells from experimental autoimmune thyroiditis (EAT) rats, and to explore the possible mechanism for regulation of Th1/Th2 balance by TG. Methods EAT was induced in 20 rats, which were randomly divided into two groups, i.e., control group and TG group, to receive intragastric physiological saline and TG suspension (5.5 mg/kg) daily, respectively. The rats were killed 4weeks later, and total RNA was extracted from the peripheral blood mononuclear cells of rats and used for cRNA synthesis. The gene expressions of CXCR3 and CCR4 were detected with a Th1-Th2-Th3 microarray gene chip and realtime RT-PCR. Results Compared with the control group, there was a significant decrease in the mRNA expression of CXCR3 (0.52 ± 0.10 vs. 1.05 ± 0.17, P < 0.01 ) and CXCR3/CCR4 ratio (0.39 ± 0.22 vs. 1.04 ± 0.12, P< 0.01) in the TG group, together with an increase in the mRNA expression of CCR4 (1.56 ±0.13 vs. 1.02 ± 0.09, P < 0.01 ). Conclusions TG could regulate the number of Th1 and Th2 cells as well as their cytokine expression ratio likely by reducing CXCR3 and enhancing CCR4 expression, so as to modulate the Th1/Th2 balance in EAT rats.
