Objective To explore the relationship between quality of life and sub-health state of Guangdong urban dwellers.Methods A total of 2 200 urban dwellers were investigated using SF-36 and Sub-Heahh Measurement Scale Version 1.0(SHMS V1.0).Results As for the scores in PCS,MCS,psychosocial symptom,cognitive function,social adaptability,those of man urban dwellers (respectively (78.89± 15.25),(73.15 ± 15.26),(63.73± 18.82),(62.13± 19.34),(68.04± 17.90)) were higher than those of woman dwellers (respectively(76.98± 14.20),(71.76± 14.72),(60.53± 18.28),(57.00± 17.89),(65.73± 17.07)).The difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).Bivariate correlation analysis showed that the PCS and MCS of quality of life were positively related with all dimensions of sub-health (P＜0.001).Canonical correlation analysis indicated that vitality,social adaptability,psychosocial symptom and positive emotion were the main factors of sub-health status,and MCS was of quality of life.Conclusion Sub-health state of Guangdong urban dwellers is positively related with quality of life,and the more serious sub-health state is,the worse quality of life is.Therefore,intervention of subhealth and quality of life should be targeted to be strengthened according to the investigation.

Objective To retrospectively review the epidemiological data from 159,242 patients hospitalized after traumatic brain injury in traffic accidents and provide epidemiological evidences for the prevention and treatmentmeasures.Methods Patient data were collected using the Chinese Trauma Database for the years 2001-2007.Epidemiological features of age,gender,time distribution,length of hospital stay,state of injury,and treatment outcome were recorded.Results Age of the patients was (33.01 ± 15.20) years and ratio of male to female patients was 2.39∶ 1.The majority were aged 21-50 years with the 31-40 age group were more vulnerable.Annual average growth of age was 3.92％.Within a year,number of the patients accounted for 54.10％ from July to December with it reached the peak in October.Mean length of stay was 20.20 days with the longest stay in the ≥90 age group and shortest stay in the ≤10 age group.Mean hospital charges was 13 689.8 yuan with the ≤10 age group occupying the least and 51-60 age group occupying the most.Overall cure rate was 66.92％ and mortality was 4.22％.Proportion of severe traumatic brain injury in traffic accidents increased and related cure rate decreased with increased age.Male patients showed higher death rate and lower cure rate compared with female patients.Conclusions Incidence of traffic accidents-related traumatic brain injury is the most in the young and middle-aged population and is prevalent in the second half year.There should be emphasis on the aged or male patients.Measures to prevent and treat the injury may produce better results when defined based upon these epidemiologic features.

Clinical laboratory information system is the key to the realization of total laboratory automation,standardization,intelligent and digitization.In recent years,with the establishment,application,popularization and upgrading of clinical laboratory information system,it is very important to establish the construction criterion of clinical laboratory as soon as possible.Now according to the requirements of construction and management of modern clinical laboratory and combining with the practical application of clinical laboratory information system in our hospital at domestic settings,the standardization construction of clinical laboratory information system was discussed in this article.

Objective To investigate a new automatic inverse optimal solution based on VMAT optimization model and verify its result.Methods A variant of the new automatic inverse optimal solution was proposed in this study,which provided a solution to calculate treatment plan with the minimized number of beams and the minimized levels of their intensities on the basis of VMAT optimization model by customized software tools.The verifications were evaluated on the simulated head-neck phantom by dosimetric parameters.Results Compared with conventional IMRT/VMAT treatment plans,the adaptive optimization program(AOP)plan showed that plan20/40(20 fields with totally 40 sub-fields,m=2)made the best achievement and it was clinicable.Conclusions The proposed new optimization technique provides an effective way to reach an inverse treatment plan with the best compromise and less sub-fields compared with IMRT/VMAT plans.

Objective To investigate the long time prognosis of liver resection or transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE) of Barcelona clinic liver cancer stage C(BCLC-C) patients who have portal vein tumor thrombsis.Methods Totally 86 BCLC-C patients who satisfied our including criteria from our surgical database of People's Hospital of Yichang City from January 2000 to September 2015 were selected as the research object.According to different treatment,86 patients were divided into liver resection group(n=50) and TACE group(n=36).The general information of two groups were compared.Cox multi-factors analysis and overall survival rate were calculated.ResultsThe long-term prognosis of liver resection group was better than that of TACE group(5-year OS:26% vs.0,P<0.001).Multi-factors analysis revealed that multiple tumors (HR:1.510,95%CI[1.120,2.316],P=0.020),AST>40 IU/L(HR:0.615,95%CI[0.488,1.206],P=0.013) as well as HBV-DNA>1 000(HR:1.204,95%CI:[0.920,2.540],P=0.038)were adverse factors for prognosis.ConclusionLiver resection is better than TACE for BCLC-C patients with portal vein tumor thrombosis.However,randomized controlled trial still need to be used to further confirm our conclusion.

Objective:To study the cytokine mechanism of Jiawei Xuanfei Toujie Ji(JXT)therapy to influenza infected mouse.Methods:Mice were inoculated intranasally with mouse lung-adapted influenza virus strain(FM1),and were treated with JXT. At 5th days after postinoculation were sacrificed, and IL-2,TNF-?,IL-6,IFN-? in their sera were measured with ELISA kits, their lungs sections were stained with hematoxylin and eosin.Results:Compared with model group ,the levels of IL-2 and IFN-? in JXT group were dramatically higher,and the levels of TNF-? and IL-6 were lower,and pathological effects of influenza pneumonia showed less lung injury.Conclusion:Regulative effects on cytokine may be one of the factors that JXT decrease the pathogenesis of influenza-induced acute lung injury.

Objective To investigate the kinetics and phenotype of spleen dendritic cells (DC) in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced acute lung injury (ALI) mice.Methods Thirty-six C57BL/6 mice were randomly (random number) divided into two groups:control group and ALI group.Spleens were harvested at the following intervals of 6,12,and 24 h after LPS or PBS administration.Lung wet weight / body weight ratio (LW/BW) was recorded to assess lung injury.Meanwhile,pathological changes were examined under optical microscope.The IL-6 level in the lung was measured by using ELISA (enzymelinked immuno sorbent assay).The DC in the spleen was measured by flow cytometry (FCM).Results (1) LPS-ALI resulted in a significant increase in LW/BW ratio.(2) Histologically,extensive alveolar wall thickening resulted from edema,severe hemorrhage in the interstitium and alveolus,and marked and diffuse interstitial infiltration with inflammatory cells were observed in the ALI group.(3) Meanwhile,the levels of IL-6 in lung tissue were significantly increased in the LPS-induced ALI mice.(4) LPS-induced ALI led to divergent kinetics of spleen DC in ALI mice.In ALI mice,spleen DC only showed a transient increase at 12 h.(5) All DC within spleens had a modest maturation in ALI mice.Conclusions LPS-induced ALI provokes a transient increase as well as modest maturation of spleen DC.

OBJECTIVE:To observe the efficacy of urapidil hydrochloride in control of blood pressure at the perioperative stage of hemorrhagic apoplexy.METHODS:All80patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage were managed with seda?tive,dehydration,hemostasis,and cerebral nerve nourishment,then when the blood pressure still remained high,or the blood pressure was hard to control after the intubation,urapidi hydrochloride was administered by intravenous infusion at the dose of250mg added with250ml of5%glucose infusion,the infusion drip was set at constant speed,with2mg/min as its starting speed,while at the same time the blood pressure and heart rate were monitored and infusion speed was adjusted every10to15min,after the target blood pressure21.2/13.2kPa was obtained,the infusion speed was kept at0.1～0.4mg/min.The blood pressure and heart rate were observed separately before the administration of urapidil hydrochloride and2,5,10,15,20and30min after the administration as well as after the operation.RESULTS:5min after the administration,blood pres?sure decreased remarkably but not to the extent to cause low blood pressure,and the heart rate increased slightly at the same time,generally not over10beats each minute.CONCLUSION:Urapidil hydrochloride decreases blood pressure steadily and safely at a manageable dosage.It can be used to control blood pressure during hemostasis and clearance of hematoma,which reduces the possibility of rehemorrhagia caused by high blood pressure during and after the operation.

Objective To compare the clinical efficacy of covered and uncovered metal stents in treatment of malignant biliary obstruction. Methods 123 cases of malignant biliary obstruction from May 2003 to May 2014. The survival time, the stent patency rates, the effective and biochemical indexes between the two groups were analyze and compared, follow-up period ended in March 2015. Results The level of bilirubin, transaminase, alkaline phosphatase (ALP) was declined after the covered and uncovered metal stents placed by ERCP, and the results of the two groups had no statistical significance (P > 0.05). Also there was no significant difference of the incidence of postoperative cholangitis and the cumulative survival rate between the two groups (P > 0.05). One year survival rates was related to tumor types (r = -1.55, P < 0.05). Conclusions Covered and uncovered metal stents for malignant biliary obstruction have no statistically significant about remission of liver function, stent occusion and the cumulative survival rate.

Based on the strain breeding theory and metabolic engineering theory, A high-yield mutant of Lactobacillus Thermophilus ATCC8317 was obtained through the compound inducements by the original Acetic acid-Sodium acetate plate and the productivity increased 210%.The best media components included saccharifying corn,malt powder 30g/L,peptone 5g/L.Based on the variety of specific cell growth rate and specific L-lactic acid production rate at different temperatures, the strategy of temperature control was obtained. The total product of L-lactic acid reached 135g/L besides the rate of glucose consumed and the average L-lactic acid productivity were up to 95% and 2.25g/(L?h) respectively.
