Objective To investigate the changes of TNF-?,IL-2 and IL-1? level in serum of patients with viral myocarditis and its clinical meaning.Methods The level of serum TNF-?,IL-2 and IL-1? in 45 cases of viral myocarditis was detected by ELISA,and the data were compared with control group.Results Serum TNF-?,IL-2 and IL-1? levels in viral myocarditis patients were significantly higher than control group and related to severity of the disease.Conclusion It suggests that immune dysfunction exists in patients with viral myocarditis.Higher level of TNF-?,IL-2 and IL-1? may be associated with development of the viral myocarditis,and it can be a new indicator for viral myocarditis.

Objective To assess the clinical significance of antibodies against cyclic citrullinated peptide(anti - CCP) in a cohort of patients with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). Methods The anti - CCP was tested by an enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) in serum samples from 22 patients with JIA(9 boys, 13 girls), with a mean age of 9.1 years(range 1.1 - 16). As control groups, anti - CCP were also tested in sera of 20 healthy children, and 30 adult patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA). Results Positive anti - CCP were found in sera of 2 patients with JIA(9.1 %), both with lower titre comparing with those of adult patients with anti - CCP positive. In the control groups, none of healthy children was positive for anti - CCP, but 16/30(53. 3%) adults with RA showed anti - CCP positivity. Conclusion Anti - CCP can be detected in children with JIA, but are less frequently present than in adults with RA, so anti - CCP has limited diagnostic value to JIA.

Purpose To assess the effect of pelvicfloor electrical stimulation treatment by transperineal sonography, so as to provide guidance for postpartum pelvic floor rehabilitation.Materials and Methods Thirty-one delivery women who received postpartum pelvicfloor rehabilitation were selected as research group and 30 non-pregnant young women as control group in the study. Pelvicfloor electromyography treatment was taken in research group, and transperineal sonography was undergone in quiet state and pressure state (Valsalva operation) before treatment, after the fifth treatment and after the tenth treatment respectively to measure the bladder neck to the public symphysis edge distance (Dr, Ds), bladder neck angle (θr,θs) and bladder rotation angle (θ). A comparison was made between the research group and control group.Results①Dr and Ds in research group were both lower than those in control group (P<0.05), butθr,θs andθ were all higher than those in control group (P<0.05).②Dr and Ds showed a gradual increase (P<0.05) whilstθr presented a gradual decrease before the treatment, after the fifth treatment and after the tenth treatment (P<0.05).Conclusion Natural childbirth may damage the function of pelvicfloor; electrical stimulation of pelvic therapy is effective on postpartum pelvicfloor rehabilitation; and transperineal sonography can objectively assess the effect of this therapy.

Objective To investigate the effect of preconditioning with sodium butyrate on myocardial I/R injury. Methods Anesthetized rats were treated with sodium butyrate (100 or 300 mg/kg, i.p.) 30 mins before ischemia, and then subjected to ischemia for 30 min followed by reperfusion for 4 h. LDH, CK, TNF-α, IL-6, HMGB1, infarct size, MDA and SOD activity were measured. The infracted size was tested by TTC assay; The expression of HMGB1 was observed by western blot. Results After 4 h reperfusion, pretreatment of sodium butyrate (300 mg/kg) could significantly reduce the infarct size and the levels of LDH and CK (P<0.05)comparing to the control group; inhibit the increase of the MDA level and the decrease of the SOD level(P<0.05), also inhibit the expression of TNF-α, IL-6 and HMGB1 (all P < 0.05) induced by I/R. Conclusion Preconditioning of sodium butyrate can attenuate myocardial I/R injury by inhibiting inflammation response.

Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of the postoperative analgesia after thoracotomy with different patient-controlled intravenous analgesia (PCIA)medication.Methods One hundred and twenty ASA Ⅰ or Ⅱ patients scheduled for elective thoracic surgery were randomly di-vided into four groups according to different PCIA formula:group S received sufentanil 3 μg/kg;group SD received sufentanil 1.5 μg/kg plus dezocine 0.3 mg/kg;group SF received sufentanil 1.5μg/kg plus flurbiprofen axetil 3 mg/kg;group DF received dezocine 0.3 mg/kg plus flurbiprofen ax-etil 3 mg/kg.For all four goups,the applied medicine was diluted with 0.9% saline to 300 ml,and was infused at 5 ml/h with a bolus dose of 3 ml.The lockout time was set at 1 5 min.The VAS and Ramsay sedation scale were recorded 2,4,8,24,48 h after surgery,respectively.Total pressing times and the side effects were also recorded for the 24 h period after the surgery.Results There were no significant differences of the VAS score at the time 2,4,8,24 and 48 h post surgery of press num-bers within 24 h postoperatively among all groups.The Ramsay sedation scale was significantly high-er at the time 2,4,8,24 h after surgery in group S than those in other three groups (P <0.05).The side effects were more in group S than those in other three groups (P <0.05).Conclusion Compared with sufentanil alone,combination therapy is safer and more effective for analgesia after thoracic sur-gery.With good outcomes and less side effects,it deserves more consideration in clinics.

Objective To investigate the effects of Xuebijing injectio (Chinese herb preparation) on intestinal function and inflammatory responses in severe burn patients. Method Thirty-two patients with comparable severity in burn injury were randomly divided into Xuebijing injectio treatment group (n = 16) and control group (n = 16). Patients in both groups received routine burn therapy, while those in Xuebijing treatment group additionally received Xuebijing injectio 100mL in intravenous drip twice a day for 7 days. Before the treatment and on the 3rd and the 7th day after the treatment, blood concentrations of diamine oxidase (DAO), lipopolysaccharide (LPS) ,tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) were determined in both groups. Analysis was made by SPSS 12.0 software. Results The plasma levels of DAO, LPS, TNF-α and IL-6 were decreased in both groups after the treatment. However, the plasma levels of DAO, LPS, TNF-α and IL-6 in the Xuebijing treatment group were significantly lower than those in control group on the 3rd and 7th day after the treatment (P＜ 0.05).Conclusions Xuebijing injectio could protect intestinal function, decrease the plasma level of endotoxin and lessen zhe inflammatory responses in severe burn patients.

Objective To compare the dissolution behavior between domestic trepibutone tablets and original reference product, and provide a basis for evaluating the quality consistency of generic drugs. Methods Four dissolution media recommended by Japanese Orange Book and a domestic standard dissolution media were selected to determined the dissolution profile,and f2 factor was calculated to investigate the consistency of stripping curves. Results In water,pH 4.0 and pH 1.2,the f2 of domestic formulation and reference formulation was under 50,and the dissolution profile was inconsistent.Dissolution behavior of domestic preparations of different manufacturers was dissimilar.In water,the f2 of domestic preparations of different batches of the same manufacturer was over 99.9,and the dissolution behavior was similar. Conclusion The dissolution method of existing domestic standard can not distinguish the dissolution behavior of different products,and it should be revised and completed.There is still great difference in quality between the domestic preparations and reference preparations.

To observe the clinical efficacy of combined acupuncture and Tuina in the treatment of enuresis following occult cleft spine and seek quantified indexes for result assessment, 40 subjects were treated by above methods and B-ultrasonically examined before and after treatment to determine the capacity of bladder and the residual urine inside it. The total effective rate was 90%; there was a difference of the capacity of bladder between before and after treatment (P＜0.05); 11 cases suffered from residual urine, and there was also significant difference of residual urine between before and after treatment (P＜0.01). It is revealed that this method can increase the capacity of bladder and diminish residual urine.
