1.TCM Syndrome Analysis of Restenosis after Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty
Journal of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2000;0(04):-
One hundred and twenty cases of restenosis after percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) were subjected to TCM syndrome analysis.PTCA and support implantation were performed by routine method. The standard of TCM syndrome differentiation is subordinated to Professor Deng Tietao. The results showed that 78 cases (65%) were differentiated as Qi deficiency with phlegm-blood stasis, 13(11%) as yin deficiency with phlegm-blood stasis and 29 (24%)as phlegm-blood stagnation. It is indicated that Qi deficiency with phlegm-blood stasis is the main syndrome and reinforcing Qi dissipating phlegm and activating blood-flow may be a reasonable way of preventing and treating restenosis.
2.Epithelial-mesenchymal transition in digestive system tumors
Journal of International Oncology 2012;39(5):380-383
Recent studies show that tumor cells get rid of the connections between cells, and induce tumor invasion and metastasis through epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT).EMT becomes an important way to invasion, metastasis and chemotherapy resistance of epithelial cell carcinoma which accounting for more than 90% of malignant carcinomas.Members of Snail family, especially Snail is regarded as important adjustment factor of EMT,which induce the transformation from epithelial cell to mesenchymal phenotype through competitive inhibition E-calcium protein gene expression. Many researches show that EMT exists widely in digestive system tumors, which is closly related to the invasion, metastasis and chemotherapy resistance of digestive system tumors.
3.The role and relation of STAT3 and epithelial-mesenchymal transition in tumor cells
Journal of International Oncology 2013;(6):422-424
STAT3 can be activated by various cytokines and participate in the process of tumor cells proliferation, angiogenesis, invasion and chemotherapy resistance.Epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT)also plays an important role in the process of tumor invasion and metastasis and chemotherapy resistance.Studies have shown that STAT3 can regulate the process of EMT so as to change the invasion and metastasis abilities of tumor cells, and to enhance their ability of chemotherapy resistance.Discussion of the role and relation of STAT3 and EMT in tumor cells will be helpful to provide reliable theory for tumor molecular targeted therapy.

Objective:To analyze one case of drug-induced liver injury to provide reference for clinical pharmacists participating in the clinical practice. Methods: Through the participation in the diagnosis and therapy of one patient with drug-induced liver injury, clinical pharmacists found the correlation between the suspected drugs and the disease, which provided basis for the clinical diagnosis and therapy. Results:Clinical pharmacists actively assisted physicians by providing reasonable defining characteristics and drug therapy scheme for the patient free from drug interactions and adverse reactions. The function of the patient recovered after the treatment. Con-clusion:Clinical pharmacists participating in clinical practice can make use of pharmacy knowledge to search causes of diseases and optimize therapeutic scheme.
5.The action of death signal receptor pathway of apoptosis in the developmen of gallbladder carcinoma
Chinese Journal of General Surgery 1993;0(01):-
Objective To study the action of death signal receptor pathway of apoptosis in the development of gallbladder carcinoma . Methods Streptavidin biotin peroxidase immunohistochemistry technique was used to study the expression of Fas L in gallbladder carcinoma tissues, and TUNEL method for in situ detection of the number of apoptotic infiltrating lymphocytes around the tumor. Results The positive rates of Fas L in gallbladder carcinoma , gallbladder adenoma, dysplasia of gallbladder epithelium and chronic cholecystis were 84.6%(22/26), 83.3%(15/18) ,100%(3/3) and 55%(11/20), respectively. The positive rate of Fas L in gallbladder carcinoma was significantly higher than in chronic cholecystis (P

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(08):-
Osteoporosis is a common metabolic bone disease in the aging population society. The incidence is increasing during these years. Elderly people especially postmenopausal women are of greatest susceptibility. Fracture and other complications caused by osteoporosis may affect patients' life span and the quality of life. It also increased medical costs. The principles of managing osteoporosis are understanding the risk factors and susceptible population; appropriate evaluating bone mass and multidisciplinary approach. The present paper reviewed the update of epidemiology, pathophysiology, risk factors, evaluation methods and management of this disease.
7.Prevalence and risk factors of anemia in adult patients with antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody associated vasculitis
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2013;36(25):14-16
Objective To study prevalence and risk factors of anemia in adult patients with antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA) associated vasculitis. Methods The clinical data of 72 adult patients with ANCA associated vasculitis were studied retrospectively.According the age,the patients were divided into youth group (age < 65 years,43 cases) and old group (age ≥ 65 years,29 cases).Baseline characteristics and lab measurements were recorded and analyzed.Risk factors of anemia were evaluated using Logistic analysis. Results In 72 adult patients with ANCA associated vasculitis,47 cases (65.3%)developed anemia. The prevalence of anemia in the youth group was 55.8% (24/43),and that in the old group was 79.3% (23/29).The prevalence of anemia in the old group was significantly higher than that in the youth group (P < 0.01).When adjusted for confounders, age (increased 10 age,OR =1.23,95% CI 1.12-1.95,P=0.001),diabetes (OR =1.34,95% CI 1.14-1.89,P=0.013) and massive proteinuria (OR =1.11,95% CI 1.05-1.76,P =0.011) were independently associated with increased risk of anemia in all patients. Conclusions The prevalence of anemia in the older patients is higher than that in the younger patients with ANCA associated vasculitis.Age(increased 10 age),diabetes and massive proteinuria are independently risk factor of anemia in adult patients with ANCA associated vasculitis.
8.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis of the compliance in elderly diabetes and countermeasures
Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2016;36(11):189-191
Objective To analyze the causes of poor compliance of elderly patients with diabetes mellitus , and put forward corresponding countermeasures to control blood glucose level and delay the occurrence of complications .Methods A total of 113 elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus aged 60 years and over were recruited in endocrinology department of our hospital. The self-made questionnaire was used to investigate the compliance and the factors that affected the compliance. Results There were 48 patients (42.48%) with good compliance and 65 patients (57.52%) with poor compliance.Univariate analysis showed that the level of education, monthly income, drug types, understanding of diabetes-related knowledge and whether the elderly living alone affected compliance ( P<0.05 ) .Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that patients with low education level, poor monthly income, medication types and living alone were the main factors that influence the compliance of elderly patients with diabetes mellitus (P<0.05).And the level of education, monthly income level and the compliance of diabetic medication was positively correlated, medication types and living alone and diabetes compliance were negatively correlated (P<0.05).Conclusion The low level of education, poor monthly income, medication types and living alone are the main factors that affect the compliance of elderly patients with diabetes. The social and family support can effectively improve the compliance of elder patients with diabetes.
