Objective To acknowledge the value of interventional therapy in gastrointestinal massive bleeding after abdominal surgery. Methods Retrospectively analyzed 11 patients with acute gastrointestinal bleeding after abdominal surgery, failure to conservative treatment and then undergone emergency angiography or interventional therapy. The correlative evaluation of DSA and interventional therapy was summarized. Results All together 11 case of abdominal postoperative massive gastrointestinal bleeding were undertaken DSA, revealing the bleeding sites as follows: the left gastric artery in 1 case, the gastroduodenal artery pseudoaneurysm in 4, hepatic artery pseudoaneurysm in 2, splenic artery pseudoaneurysm in 1, infected pseudoaneruysm of the branches of the inferior mesenteric artery in 1 and small branches of the superior mesenteric artery in 2 cases. Conclusion Interventional therapy in the treatment of gastrointestinal massive hemorrhage after abdominal surgery is effective.

Objective:To detect and compare the intensity of gingipain K(Kgp)in culture medium and cell extract of Porphyromonas gingivalis(P.gingivalis)isolates in puberty gingivitis, and then to reveal the possible relationship between Kgp and puberty gingivitis.Methods:36 patients with puberty gingivitis aged from 14 to 17 years were enrolled.Clinical parameters including GI,SBI and PD were evaluated before subgingival plaque samples collection.Subgingival plaque samples were collected and then P.gingivalis isolates were obtained.16S rRNA PCR was used to confirm the presence of P.gingivalis in clinical isolates.Bacteria were cultured in BHI agar base and harvested at the end of log-phase growth.Culture fractions of P.gingivalis(culture medium and cell extracts)were performed with SDS-PAGE and Western blot technique using primary antibody against specific anti-Kgp N-terminal IgG subdomain. The data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 11.5 software. The relationship between the Kgp intensity and the clinical parameters was statistically analyzed using sum rank test. Results:There was positive correlation between the intensity of Kgp N-terminal IgG subdomain and the clinical parameters(P

Objective:To investigate the relationship between college freshman adaptation and adverse childhood events, and to explore the mediating role of personality characteristics. Methods:A sample of 523 college freshmen from a key university in Sichuan Province was assessed with the China College Student Adjustment Scale (CCSAS),Adverse Childhood Events Questionnaire (ACEQ) and Eysenck Personality Questionnaire-Revised,Short Scale for Chinese(EPQ-RSC).Results:The rate of adverse childhood events of college freshmen was 87% in current study. The total scores of adaptation were negatively correlated with the scores of adverse childhood events influence and neuroticism (r =-0.13,-0.51,Ps < 0.01),while positively correlated with introversion-extroversion and lie (r = 0.47,0.25,Ps < 0.01).The scores of adverse childhood events influence were negatively correlated with scores of introversion-extroversion (r =-0.08,P <0.05) and lie (r =-0.12,P <0.01),while positively correlated with scores of neuroticism (r = 0.17,P < 0.01).Introversion-extroversion and neuroticism mediated the relationship between adverse childhood events influence and college freshman adaptation, the mediating effects were 51.65% and 58.10%.Conclusion:College freshman adaptation may be closely associated with adverse childhood events influence and personality characteristics.Personality characteristics may play a mediating role between adverse childhood events influence and adaptation in college freshman.

Objective To investigate the prevalence of urticaria among children aged 2-6 years in Nanjing city. Methods A questionnaire survey was carried out in children aged 2-6 years in 5 main districts of Nanjing City. Results The number of valid questionnaires was 13 610,accounting for 92.8% of total respondents.Among the 13 610 respondents,1 116 were diagnosed as urticaria, including 565 boys and 551 girls, with the total prevalence rate being 8.54%.No significant difference was observed in the prevalence rate of urticaria between boys and girls (8.49% vs.8.60%,x2 =0.04,P =0.832) or among children of different age groups (x2 =1.84,P =0.17).The prevalence of urticaria increased with age,and positively correlated with parents' educational level (rs =0.96,P =0.000).Children born in urban areas showed higher prevalence of urticaria than those in rural areas (8.79% vs.5.56%,x2 =13.98,P =0.000).Conclusions The prevalence of urticaria has increased among children aged 2-6 years in recent years.More studies should be carried out to investigate into the pathogenesis and relevant factors of urticaria,so as to facilitate its prevention and treatment.

This research is to investigate study the flavonoids from stems of Nelumbo nucifera and the cytotoxic activities of iso- lated compounds. The constituents were separated by column chromatography, and their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic data analyses. The isolated compounds were evaluated for cytoxic activities by MTT method. Twelve compounds were isolated and identified as rhamnazin-3-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (1), luteolin-3', 4'-dimethylether-7-O-beta-D-glucoside (2), kaempferol-3-O-beta-D-xylopyranosyl-(1-->2)-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (3), quercetin-3,3'-di-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (4), 1, 8-dihydroxy-3,7-dimethoxyxanthone (5), isorhamnetin-3-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside(6) , kaempferol(7), isorhamnetin (8), quercetin(9), astragalin(10), hyperoside (11) and 1-hy- droxy-3,7,8-trimethoxyxanthone(12). All compounds were isolated from stems of this plant for the first time, and compounds 1-5 were firstly isolated from the family nelumbonaceae. Compounds 24 and 6 showed significant cytotoxic activities against BEL-7402 carcinoma cell lines at a concentration of 1 x 10(-5) mol x L(-1) with the inhibitory rate of 67.36%, 53.25%, 57.78%, 60.13% and 52.11%, respectively.

Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2012;(12):925-927
Among 172 patients with coronary artery disease (CAD),94 received community and hospital joint management (joint group) after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for Ⅰ year and 78 received community-based health education only (control group) after PCI.The compliance of medication, readmission rate, times of hospitalization, medical costs, major adverse cardiac events (MACE),and general quality of life inventory (CQOLI-74),self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS) scores were compared between two groups. The rate of readmission, times of hospitalization, medical costs, the sores of SAS and SDS in joint group were lower than those in control group(P < 0.01 or 0.05).The compliance of medication, body health dimension, psychological health dimension and social function dimension in joint group were better than those in control group, but there were no differences in material life dimension and the MACE rate between two groups(P > 0.05).Community and hospital joint management can reduce the readmission rate and medical burden, and improve quality of life for elderly CAD patients after PCI.

Microbiology 1992;0(01):-
We used 4 methods, such as ultrasonic crush(UC),ultrasonic rinse(UR),whorl surge(WS)and rubbing(RU),to isolate epiphytic bacteria from red alga Gracilaria lemaneiformis. Then,we counted bacteria numbers, detected bacterial species, observed bacterial configuration and characteristic of cell wall.Compared with these methods and with different treatments in one method, the results were drawn:the UR and RU were inferior in all methods to isolate bacterial numbers and species, the UC and WS were better, especially, the treatment 30W 30s of UC was the best in experiment, which isolated 12 of 16 bacterial species, and got 1.75 10~6 cells per gram wet weight G.lemaneiformis.
