1.The effect of exhaustive swimming on composition of erythrocyte membrane in rats
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2001;5(5):56-57
ObjectiveTo investigate effects of exhaustive swimming on erythrocyte membrane composition. MethodThe components of rat erythrocyte membrane like sialic acid, phospholipid cholesterol ,ratio of cholesterol/phospholipid , -SH and MDA were measured afterexhaustive swimming. ResultThe components of erythrocyte membrane such as sialic acid, phospholipid and-SH decreased significantly while MDA,cholesterol/phospholipid ratio increased after exhaustive swimming,no significant change of cholesterol content was ob-served. ConclusionIt suggested that exhaustive swimming caused significant changes in composition of erythrocyte membrane impairing thedeformability and normal function of erythrocyte.
4.Observations on the Efficacy of Thumbtack Needle Acupuncture for Sympathetic Cervical Spondylosis
Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2016;35(7):861-862
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of thumbtack needle acupuncture in treating sympathetic cervical spondylosis. Methods Seventy-seven patients with sympathetic cervical spondylosis were randomly allocated to a treatment group of 37 cases and a control group of 40 cases. The same acupoints were selected in the two groups. The treatment group received thumbtack needle acupuncture and the control group, conventional acupuncture. The clinical therapeutic effects were compared between the two groups after two courses of treatment. Results The total efficacy rate was 91.9% in the treatment group and 92.5% in the control group; there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusions Thumbtack needle acupuncture s is an effective way to treat sympathetic cervical spondylosis. The patients have good compliance.
5.Anatomic and functional reconstruction of the spinal posterior column after resection of intraspinal neoplasms
Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma 2016;18(6):535-538
Objective To investigate the operative outcomes of anatomic and functional reconstruction of the spinal posterior column after resection of intraspinal neoplasms. Methods From January 2010 through October 2014,we treated 32 patients with intraspinal neoplasm in the spine. They were 18 men and 14 women,13 to 62 years of age (average,38 years). The neoplasm was detected in the cervical spine in 10 cases,in the thoracic spine in 14 and in the lumbar spine in 8.All cases received expansive open door laminoplasty via the posterior approach for resection of the intraspinal neoplasm, followed by replantation and titanium plate fixation for anatomic and functional reconstruction of the spinal posterior column. The neural functional recovery, spinal motion and sagittal diameter of the spinal canal before and after operation, spinal stability and graft fusion were observed. Results The patients were followed up for 3 to 23 months (average,13 months). All the intraspinal neoplasms were completely resected. The Frankel grading of neural functional recovery was improved differently in all the cases.By the final follow-ups,the spinal motion was normal in all the cases, without any significant limitation.Graft fusion and rigid internal fixation were achieved in all the cases.Short-term follow-ups revealed no signs of spondylolisthesis or spinal instability. At the final follow-ups,the 3-D CT reconstruction showed no significant shortening in the sagittal diameter of the same spinal canal before and after operation (P >0.05).Conclusions For intraspinal neoplasm in the spine, the whole vertebral lamina is opened or removed via the posterior approach to resect the neoplasm, followed by reduction of the vertebral lamina and mini titanium plate fixation to reconstruct the anatomy and function of the original spine. This is an ideal way to treat intraspinal neoplasms in the spine.
6.Importance of training on clinical thinking and clinical competence to interventional radiologists
Journal of Interventional Radiology 2006;0(08):-
Although the history of Interventional Radiology is no longer than 50 years, interventional techniques have been dramatically developed. Interventional radiologists have been responsible for much of the medical innovations and development of the minimally invasive procedures that are commonplace today to treat many complicated diseases as physicians. But the education backgrounds of interventional radiologist in China are different. Therefore,we should be aware that the job of an interventional radiologist is totally different from that of a diagnostic radiologist. It is very important to train interventional radiologists for improving their clinical thinking and clinical competence. Herein,we propose our suggestions on how to improve the clinical thinking and clinical competence of interventional radiologists. In this paper we also systemically introduce the accurate and proper treatment procedures which should be strictly followed in clinical work and, meanwhile, the perioperative patients care is emphasized.
7.Recent progress of diagnosis of malignant phaeochromocytoma
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2014;30(6):538-540
Currently, the diagnosis of malignant pheochromocytoma still faces a big challenge.Neither biochemical nor histological features can be reliably used to distinguish malignancy from benign tumors.Numerous efforts have been applied to identify novel molecular markers to predict malignancy.
8.Value of magnifying endoscopy in the detection and diagnosis of colorectal lesion.
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2001;0(03):-
Objective To evalulate the clinical value of magnifying endoscopy(ME)in combination with pit pattern in the detection and diagnosis of colorectal lesions. Methods Once the lesions were detected by ME,Indigo Carmine was sprayed, the pit pattern observed and the type of the lesion determined according to the Kudo' criteria for classification. The pathology diagnosis was as contrast. Results The accuracies of ME in detection of inflammatory polyps, tubular adenomas, villous adenomas or colorectal cancer were 100%,93.3%,90.9% and 100% respectively,as compared with those of the pathology outcomes. And the total accuracy was 96.1%.Conclusion ME examination, which appears to be sensitive in distinguishing the neoplasms from the non-neoplasms,or the benign from the malignant, can also be applied for predicting the depth of cancers and choosing the strategy of therapy. It is,therefore,of value to the detection and diagnosis of colorectal lesions.

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(09):-
Objective To investigate the methods of treating great saphenous varicosity by inserting optical fiber straight into EVLT.Methods Wuhan Linyun Laser Therapeutic System was introduced to treat 205 cases (257 limbs)of great saphenous varicosity.Optical fiber instead of blood vessel sheath and catheter was inserted straight into endovenous laser treatment(EVLT)through arteriovenons permanent needle was adopted. Results Operations lasted 35~55 minutes, averaging 45 minutes.Patients were hospitalized for 5~7 days.Postoperative vis- its were followed for 3~12 months, averaging 6 months. Two months after the operation, appraisal according to the curative effect evaluation criteria was carried on.The cure rate for superficial varicosity is 97.3%(250/257),for lower extremities swelling asthenia is 93.7%(150/160),for skin pigmentation is 91.8%(56/61),and for swelling is 90.9%(20/22).10 cases(3.9%)suffered from skin ambustion.9 cases(3.5%)suffered from shank anesthesia and stabbing pain.15 cases(5.8%)suffered from hypodermic tubercle. The patients had not deep venous thrombosis after the operation and the wounds healed well. Conclusion Inserting optical fiber straight into EVLT through arte- riovenous permanent needle brings about more accurate treatment. It can be operated simply, causing small wounds and less pain.
