4.Clinical singificance of serum interleukin changes in the treatment of asthma by glucocorticoids
Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2014;37(4):118-120
Objective To investigate the role of interleukin-18 (IL-18 )and interleukin-33 (IL-33 )in the pathogenesis of bronchial asthma.Methods 40 cases with acute attack of bronchial asthma admitted in Wuhan Third Hospital from March 2011 to January 2012 were chosen as the hormone group,and 30 cases healthy people in the same period who underwent routine physical exa mination were chosen as control group.The serum levels of IL-18 and IL-33,the rate of forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1 )and forced vitalcapacity(FVC,FEV1%),the number of eosinophil cells(EOS)and immunoglobulin E(IgE)were detected in control group and hormone group before and after treatment.Compare the serum levels of IL-18 and IL-33 in hormone group before and after treatment,and the relevance between IL-18,IL-33 and IgE,EOS and FEV1%. Results Compared with control group,the serum levels of IL-18 and IL-33 in hormone group pre-treatment were significantly increased(P<0.05),FEV1%,EOS and IgE had significant difference(P<0.05).Compared with hormone group pre-treatment the serum levels of IL-18 and IL-33 in hormone group post-treatment were significantly decreased(P<0.05),FEV1%,EOS and IgE improved significantly (P<0.05).Compared with control group,the serum levels of IL-18, IL-33,FEV1% and IgE in hormone group post-treatment had no significant difference.The pearson correlative analysis showed that there were positive correlations between the levels of IL-18,IL-33,IgE and EOS,respectively(P<0.05),and there were negative correlations between IL-18,IL-33 levels and FEV1%,respectively(P<0.05).Conclusion IL-18 and IL-33 participate in the acute asthma,and may play stimulation role in the inflammatory process of asthma.
5.A Survey and Analysis of College English Teachers’ Digital Literacy in Zhejian Province
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2014;(8):1024-1026
Purpose] This paper discusses, in the information era, how to improve col ege English teachers ’ digital literacy. [Method] A questionnaire survey is carried out of the status of col ege English teachers ’ digital literacy in Zhejiang. [Results]Only 25% universities where the respondents work are wel equipped with adequate digital facilities.54% respondents haven ’t received any training in digital technologies and teaching methods. Most of respondents (90%) are interested in digital technologies;however, only 56%of them often use them in class. 90%respondents consider it necessary to receive training in digital teaching technologies. [Conclusion] Firstly, local universities should offer teachers better teaching facilities, more educational resources and training courses; secondly, education of digital literacy and teaching courses should be combined; final y, teachers should possess a correct judgment and improve their awareness of negative information in the virtual environment with self-protection consciousness.
6.Expression ofTNFAIP3 gene in radiotherapy of nasopharyngeal carcinoma
China Oncology 2014;(11):820-823
Background and purpose:Nasopharyngeal carcinoma is sensitive with radiotherapy, and it is of great signiifcance to study the resistance mechanism. This study aimed to analyze the expression of TNFAIP3 in the radiotherapy of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, the difference between radiosensitivity and radioresistance, the relationship with the occurrence and development of radioresistance.Methods:Detection of TNFAIP3 mRNA expression was carried out by TNFAIP3 multi-point labeled DIG probein situ hybridization.Results:In radiosensitivity and radioresistance of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, the moderately and strongly positive TNFAIP3 mRNA expression rates were 15% and 45%, (χ2=5.274,P=0.021 6), there were statistical significance. In the radioresistat nasopharyngeal carcinoma, TNFAIP3 mRNA moderately and strongly positive expression was positively correlated with TNM stage. In the degree ofⅢ-Ⅳ tumor, it had moderately and strongly positive expression rate of 48.28%.In the degree ofⅠ-Ⅱtumor, it had moderately and strongly positive expression rate of 36.36% (χ2=33.240,P<0.005); The expression rates in distant metastasis and no distant metastasis were 81.81% and 31.03% (χ2=6.385,P=0.011 5), the difference had statistical signiifcance.Conclusion:TNFAIP3 has antitumor effect, and it is correlated with the occurrence and development of radioresistant in nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

Ye XU ; Sanjun CAI ;
China Oncology 2001;0(05):-
Hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC) is a distinct autosomal dominant syndrome, accounting for 5%-10% of the total colorectal cancer population. To date, we have noticed that patients with HNPCC inherit a germline mutation in one of the genes responsible for repair of DNA mismatch errors. Tumors of HNPCC show a high frequency of microsatellite instability. Identifying individuals afflicted with HNPCC has implications for surgical management, prognosis, follow up, and surveillance of HNPCC patients and family members at risk.
