Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2007;0(10):-
Objective:To investigate the cultivation and boilogical char-acter of corneal epithelial cells(ECs) and oral ECs planted on amniot-ic membrane (AM) as a substrate. Methods:Rabbit limbus ECs were planted on denuded AM and intact AM respectively. Oral Ecs were p-lanted on denuded AM.The cultivated epithelial sheet was examined by HE staining pathological section and electronmicroscopy(EM),also immunohistochemically labeled with AE5 monoconal antibody to identify the expression of cytokeratin 3(CK3). Results:Rabbit corneal ECsgrew slowly and were difficult to stick and confluence on intact AM,while both rabbit corneal and oral ECs were easy to grow and proli-ferate on denuded AM wheather using tissue pieces or single cells.T-he resulted tissure was composed of the basement membrane of AM and multiple layers of ECs showing the presence of CK3. Conclusions:The stratification of corneal and oral epithelium layers attaching to the basement membrane of AM are similar to engineering tissue mak-ing a fundament to ocular surface reconstruction.

4.Effect of Low Molecular Weight Heparin Combined with Warfarin on the Early Cardioversion of Atrial Fi-brillation
China Pharmacy 2015;(30):4224-4225
OBJECTIVE:To observe the effect of low molecular weight heparin combined with warfarin on early cardioversion of atrial fibrillation. METHODS:Totally 58 patients with atrial fibrillation were randomly divided into observation group (32 cas-es)and control group(26 cases). All patients were given conventional treatment;meanwhile, control group was orally treated with warfarin with initial dose of 2.5 mg,once a day,and when international normalized ratio (INR) was maintained at 2.5-3 weeks, amiodarone was orally given for cardioversion;observation group was subcutaneously injected warfarin (the same dose as control group)+ Low molecular weight heparin for injection 5 000 U for continuous 3-5 d,q12 h,it was stopped when INR was 2.5 and cardioversion was started at the same time. If the heart rate was fast,a loading dose of 150 mg amiodarone was given to maintain 6 h with rate of 1 mg/min and more than 24 h with rate of 0.5 mg/min. If hemodynamics is stable, amiodarone was orally given for cardioversion,it was not achieved after 4 weeks of amiodarone or QTc>0.50,it was replaced by controlling heart rate and warfa-rin. All patients were continuously given warfarin for 4 weeks after cardioversion to maintain INR in about 2.5. After one month of using amiodarone, the cardioversion rate, recurrence rate, cardioversion time, total amount of amiodarone and incidence of ad-verse reactions were evaluated. RESULTS:The cardioversion rate, recurrence rate, cardioversion time and total amount of amioda-rone in observation group were significantly better than control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between 2 groups (P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Low molecular weight heparin combined with warfarin can improve the success rate of early cardioversion of atrial fibrillation, without bleeding and embolic complications and with good safety.

6.Clinical characteristics of pertussis in 17 neonates
Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2016;34(9):667-669
Objective To explore the clinical features, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of pertussis in neonates. Methods Clinical data from 17 neonates with pertussis conifrmed by real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) of Bordetella pertussis, were retrospectively analyzed. Results In 17 neonates ( 8 males and 9 females), 2 neonates were premature. The age at onset was from 15 to 27 days. Thirteen cases had a history of close contact with coughing patients, 4 cases had nasal congestion and runny nose in the early stage, 5 cases had typical spastic cough, one case had cough with inspiratory“whoop”, 6 cases had lfushing in face after severe cough, 7 cases had severe cough with cyanosis, 2 cases had systemic cyanosis before hospitalized, 7 cases had regurgitation after cough, and 3 cases had fever. Fifteen cases had increased peripheral blood white blood cell count, ( 12 . 57-79 . 63 )× 109/L, with lymphocyte at 45 . 1% -75 . 2%. The PCR copy number of pertussis was 7 . 12 × 102-1 . 04 × 108/mL. Seventeen neonates were all treated with intravenous infusion of erythromycin, and all of them had a signiifcantly improvement, and no death case. Conclusions Neonates with a history of contact with coughing patients, paroxysmal cough and increased of peripheral blood leucocyte presented as lymphocyte increase, need to be alert to pertussis, and relative examination should be taken as early as possible.
7.Advances in protective effects of thyroid hormone on myocardial mitochondria by sirtuins
Tianjin Medical Journal 2017;45(1):108-112
Many studies have confirmed that thyroid hormone (TH) and mitochondria have protective effects on myocardium. The partial subtype of sirtuins (SIRTs) can also be able to protect myocardium by mitochondria, which includes improving ischemia reperfusion injury, improving the pathological cardiac hypertrophy and improvement of heart failure. SIRTs can achieve the protective effect for myocardium mainly through inhibiting mitochondrial permeability transition pore and mitochondrial membrane permeabilization, maintaining balance of regulation of mitochondrial morphology, promoting mitochondrial biogenesis, maintaining the function of autophagy of impaired mitochondria. At the same time, there is an interaction between TH and SIRTs. At present, the role of mitochondria has become more and more concerned in apoptosis and necrosis and its protective effect on cells. This review summarized the protective effect of SIRTs on myocardium through mitochondrial and the influence of the interaction between SIRTs and TH on myocardial protection of mitochondrial.

9.Applications of Nanomedicine in Breast Cancer Therapy
Herald of Medicine 2015;(10):1267-1271
Objective Nanomedicine is a branch of nanotechnology; it applies scientific principles and established methods of nanotechnology in healthcare. Small sized nanoparticles exhibit unique material properties. Nanoparticle therapeutic agents can be delivered with minimal invasiveness in vivo, and react more specifically to target tissues.Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women. Its incidence increases every year globally.Conventional therapeutic methods for breast cancer are effective, but have many limitations. In recent years the rapid development of nanotechnology medicine provides new solutions for those problems. There are many types of nanoengineered drug delivery systems (nDDS),each with distinguishing properties, including organic and inorganic materials, for example liposomes, polymers, antibodies, metals, magnets, carbons and ceramics. Nanomedicine may have passive and active targeting strategies. Both can enhance the accumulation of the drug in tumor sites. Specific nanoparticles can also kill or damage tumor cells. As its research advances fast,a wide application of nanomedicine in treating breast cancer is getting adopted. Many agents and formulations of nanomedicine are approved for clinical trials or approved for prescription.
