Objective To investigate the outcome of allergen skin prick test in children with bronchial asthma,and propose prevention strategy.Methods Sensitinogen prick test on the skin was applied on 200 children who were in asthma clinic of our hospital between Mar 2007 and Oct 2010.Then,the distribution of sensitinogen and their correlation with age and sex were analysed by SPSS 17.0.Results (1) The positive rate of sensitinogen prick test in 200 children with asthma was 72.5%(145/200).The positive rate of inhalant allergen and ingestion allergen were 62.5%(125/200),14.0%(28/200),respectively,of which dermatophagoides farinae,dermatophagoides pteronyssinus,outdoor mould,mugwort,cat epidermis,tree Ⅰ,egg,milk were 36.5%,40.5%,19.0%,17.0%,17.0%,13.0%,8.0%,5.5% respectively.(2) The frequency of sensitivity to cat epidermis,mugwort,outdoor mold and tree Ⅰ increased with age and the frequency of sensitivity to egg and milk decreases with age.The sensitivity rate to all other allergens had no relation with sex.(3) The severity of sensitivity to dermatophagoides farinae,dermatophagoides,ragweed and pigweed increased with age,while severity of sensitivity had no significant relation with sex among the 18 kinds of allergens.Conclusion Dermatophagoides farinae,dermatophagoides pteronyssinus,outside mould,mugwort,tree Ⅰ,cat epidermis,egg and milk are the major allergens in children with bronchial asthma,who should avoid contact with these facters.

Objective To explore the effect of subinhibitory concentrations (sub-MICs) of four antibiotics on pan-ton-valentine leucocidin ( PVL ) expression by Staphylococcus aureus . Methods Eight strains of PVL-positive Staphylococcus aureus were isolated by PCR. The MICs of these antibiotics were determined by constant dilution. then, PVL expression of Staphylococcus aureus was measured at different MICs of these antibiotics by ELISA. Re-sults Clindamycin, linezolid and tigecycline all could reduce the expression of PVL at 1 / 8 MIC ~ 1 / 2 MIC. after 4 and 6 hours of culturing, the relative PVL mRNA expression was reduced about 17% ~ 82% , 8% ~ 85% and 11% ~ 78% by clindamycin, linezolid and tigecycline, respectively. The protein expression of PVL was reduced by 65% and 83% under 1 / 4 and 1 / 2 MIC of clindamycin, and reduced by 40% and 61% under 1 / 4 and 1 / 2 MIC of linezolid, and reduced by 61% only at 1 / 2 MIC of tigecycline. There had no effect of vancomycin on PVL expres-sion. Conclusion The effects of four antibiotics on PVL expression at sub-MICs were different. Clindamycin and linezolid could significantly reduced PVL expression. Tigecycline colud reduced PVL expression only at high sub-MICs. Vancomycin had no effect.

Objective The aim of this paper is to develop a holistic mathematical model to quantify the correlation between skin thermal sensation and noxious stimuli,since skin thermal pain is one of the most common problems in everyday life and the understanding of the underlying physical mechanisms is still not clear.Methods The model is developed by considering the biothermomechanical behaviour of skin tissue and by incorporating the current understanding of biophysical and neurophysiological mechanisms of pain sensation.Results The proposed model consisted of three interconnected sub-models: peripheral modulation of noxious stimuli,which converts the energy from a noxious thermal stimulus into electrical energy via nerve impulses;transmission,which transports these neural signals from the site of transduction in the skin to the spinal cord and brain;and modulation and perception in the spinal cord and brain.The model predictions agree well with existing experimental data.Conclusion With this model,a direct relationship has been built between the level of thermal pain sensation and the character of noxious stimuli.

Objective:To examine relationship of postpartum depression with life events and social support. Methods: Thirty patients with postpartum depression and 32 normal controls were rated by a life events scale and a social support scale. Results: The number of negative life events were found to be higher in patients with postpartum depression as compared to normal controls. Social support of patients with postpartum depression was also found to be lower than their normal counterparts. Conclusion: Negative life events and deficient social support were significantly related to postpartum depression.

Objective To compare three different curative effects on hydrosalpinx before in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET). Methods Patients receiving IVF-ET between January 2011 to December 2013 (n=731) due to tubal factor infertility (hydrosalpinx) were retrospectively analyzed. All patients were divided into four groups. Embolization group underwent fallopian tube embolization (n=257). Colostomy group underwent laparoscopic tubal umbrella end colosto?my (n=193). Excision group underwent laparoscopic tubal excision(n=198). Control group did not undergo any effusion be?fore transplantation (n=83). Results Comparing main indicators of ovarian hyperstimulation (the number of antral follicles, the dosage of gonadotropin (Gn), the number of retrieved oocytes), indicators were better in embolism group, colostomy group and control group than those in excision group. Comparing main indexes of IVF-ET (embryo implantation rate, clinical preg?nancy rate, abortion rate), indicators were better in embolism group, excision group than those in colostomy group while indi?cators in colostomy group were better than those in control group. The pregnancy rate in fallopian tube was the lowest in em?bolism group and excision group, and the highest in control group. Conclusion All three methods of processing hydrosal?pinx before transplantation ended with positive impact on IVF-ET, and fallopian tube embolization has certain advantages over the other two treatment measures.

Objective:To develop the UPLC-MS/MS method for the determination of hesperidin, oleanolic acid, ephedrine and glycyrrhizic acid in Erchen Decoction. Methods:The separation was performed on Phenomenex Gemini C18, isocratic elution was carried out with mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile - 2 mmol/L ammonium formate. The mass spectrometer was operated in the positive and negative ionization electrospray (ESI) mode using multiple monitoring (MRM) for analysis of four components. External standard methods fix quantity. The precursor to product ion transitions monitored for hesperidin, oleanolic acid, ephedrine and glycyrrhizic acid were m/z 611.2→303.1, 455.2→407.2, 166.2→148.2 and 821.4→350.9, respectively. Results:Hesperidin, oleanolic acid, ephedrine and glycyrrhizic acid were all analyzed exactly, the linear ranges were 0.010 0-0.400 0, 0.006 3-0.250 0, 0.012 5-0.500 0, 0.002 5-0.100 0 ng, respectively. The r were 0.998 2, 0.998 8, 0.999 4 and 0.999 1, respectively. The recovery rateof the four analytes ranged from 98.45% to 102.60% and the RSD were all below 1.67%. Conclusion:This UPLC-MS/MS method is sensitive, accurate and suitable hwhich could be applied for the determination of hesperidin, oleanolic acid, ephedrine and glycyrrhizic acid in Erchen Decoction.
