This paper introduces a statistics method for the segmentation evaluation for the head MRI. A new evaluation scheme proposed, the evaluation result is analyzed objectively by the statistic method. Genetic neural network algorithm proves with a stronger antinoise ability than other ones. The statistic method is helpful for evaluating the segmentation objectively.

Objective To investigate the clinical effects of surgical treatment for varied types of cicatricial blepharon deformities. Methods Eleven patients (16 eyes) suffering from cicatricial blepharon deformities underwent surgical procedures. 4 cases (7 eyes) were treated with free skin flap transfer; 1 case with free skin flap transfer and amniotic membrane grafting, 2 cases with Z plasty; 1 case with pedicled skin flap; 1 case with orbicularis oculi musculocutaneous flap; 1 case (2 eyes) with wedged tarsal excision and blepharoplasty, and 1 case with allografe of keratoconjunctiva and reconstraction of conjunctival sac. Results All of 11 cases (16 eyes) showed satisfactory appearance and eyelid function to certain extent after operations. Conclusion The repair of skin defect and conjunctival sac integrality is the key step in correction of cicatricial blepharon deformities, which may offer good eyelid position and function.

Serum prostate-specific antigen (PSA) is composed of the PSA precursor protein (proPSA) in the absence of the leader peptide induced by human kallikrein 2 (hK2). There are many forms of PSA in the blood, including free PSA and bound PSA. Serum proPSA, as a free PSA, has many isoforms, among which, [-2]proPSA (p2PSA) cannot be activated by hK2 and therefore exists stably in the blood. Serum p2PSA is a homologous isomer of PSA. Serum prostate health index and % p2PSA, as the derivative indexes of p2PSA and molecular markers associated with the development and progression of prostate cancer, can reduce serum PSA test-induced excessive diagnosis and treatment of the malignancy and improve the accuracy of its prediction. This review summarizes recent progress in the studies of serum p2PSA and its derivative indexes in prostate cancer.

Acupoint,as the special body surface part where the qi of zang-fu and meridians infuses, arouses the effect of acupuncture and moxibustion. Through the exploration for the origin and the evolution of acupoint, and the integration of the related data about acupuncture-moxibustion theory and modern research, it is believed that acupoint is not fixed and it may be in a state of dynamic change. Also, it is bound up with body function. Acupoint is relatively static and the location is immobile while the body is in normal physiological status. When the body is under pathological condition,however, it is activated and the position is correspondingly changed.

ObjectiveTo analyze the clinical characteristics,effects of adjuvant therapy and influential factors of gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST).MethodsA retrospective and multiple factor Cox model analysis on 216 cases of primary GIST diagnosed by surgery and pathology was conducted.Results The total survival rates of patients at one to five years were 94.4 ％ (204/216),90.2 ％ (129/143),88.3 ％(68/77),87.5 ％ (35/40) and 85.0 ％ (17/20),respectively.The statistically significant prognostic factors for survival rates of patients with GIST included age,location of tumor,local or total tumor resection,rupture of tumor,adjuvant treatment,recurrence,mitotic rate,and tumor size (P ＜ 0.05).Due to those influence factors,the greater of the values,the higher of the risk of death.Among those factors,whether having grass total resection played a decisive role in the prognosis of patients with GIST.Other factors,such as sex,CD117,biopsies,endoscopic mucosal erosion,and operation cutting margin had no significant relevance with the survival rate of patients (P ＞0.05).Postoperative adjuvant therapy could significantly improve the survival rate of patients with GIST,especially for patients with high risk.ConclusionSurgical treatment should be given priority to treatment of GIST,and the choice of the surgery strategies depends mainly on the location and size of tumors.The complete resection or extensive resection could improve survival rates.Age,location,total tumor resection,rupture of tumor,adjuvant treatment,recurrence,mitotic rate,and tumor size are important factors affecting prognosis and survival rate of patients with GIST,which could guide standardized clinical treatment.

BACKGROUND:Silver ion dressing can reduce tissue necrosis, accelerate the epithelial formation, relieve the patient’s pain during the treatment, and strengthen various growth factors for wound repair, which is based on the theory of wet healing theory. It has obvious advantages for chronic wound healing, such as anti-infection and promoting wound granulation and epithelial hyperplasia.
OBJECTIVE:To observe the efficacy of silver ion dressing used in healing of chronic wound.
METHODS:A total of 40 patients who had chronic wounds were selected from Tangshan Branch Hospital of Nanjing General Hospital of Nanjing Military Command. Al cases were divided into two groups. The treatment group was treated with silver ion dressing, and the control group was treated with routine dressing. Secretions extracted from wound were used for bacterial culture prior to and 7, 14, and 21 days after treatment. Healing condition and velocity were observed and wound pain was assessed using visual analog scale.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The detection rate of wound bacteria in the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). And the time of healing was shorter in the treatment group than the control group (P<0.05). Wound pain during dressing change was relieved (P<0.05). Medical costs showed no difference between the two groups (P>0.05). No adverse reaction occurred in the two groups. These findings indicate that silver ion dressing used in chronic wound healing can prevent infection and promote wound granulation or epithelial hyperplasia. It can effectively promote wound healing and has no bad reaction.

Pediatric intensive care unit(PICU) is the last guarantee for children whose lives were threatened.Brain injury are accompanied in many patients,in which ones dying or surviving were associated with whether their cerebral function would be recovered.Closely monitoring the brain function,especially the metabolic balance of cerebral oxygenation to detect cerebral hypoperfusion and low oxygen delivery and timely interventions being introduced can reduce mortality and longterm sequela.Current trends in monitoring cerebral oxygenation are poor in PICUs of our country.It is very helpful in evaluating cerebral function and predicting prognosis from learning characteristics of cerebral oxygenic balance and monitoring methods of cerebral oxygenation.At present,monitoring cerebral oxygen includes intracranial pressure,cerebral perfusion pressure,jugular venous oxygen saturation,brain tissue oxygen tension,cerebral blood flow,and near infrared spectrum technology and so on.

Objective To study the effect on the extract of Astragalus polysaccharides by ultrasonic cell disrupter. Methods Astragalus polysaccharides was extracted by Ultrasonic Disrupter,boiling in water and soakage in alkali,and compared the content of polysaccharides respectively. Result The content was the highest by ultrasonic disrupter,the second was by boiling in water,the worst was by soakage in alkali. Conclusion Ultrasonic disrupter is suitable to extract Astragalus polysaccharides.
