Objective To analyze and investigate clinical characteristics, pathogenesis and treatment of urinary tract infection and aseptic meningitis. Methods Clinical features and laboratory tests of a two-month-old baby girl with urinary tract infection and aseptic meningitis were reported. Results The patient complained of fever, neck stiffness and a bulging fontanel, accompanied by congestion and abnormal secretion of urethra. The cerebrospinal lfuid (CSF) white blood cell count was 30×106/L. The blood culture and the CSF culture were both negative. And the urine culture was positive for Enterococcus faecium. The patient received a 10-day course of intravenous antibiotic therapy. The prognosis is good with no recurrence of the disease. Conclusions Aseptic meningitis can be concomitant with urinary tract infection, The probable hypothesis may be that sterile CSF pleocytosis is mediated by urinary tract infection. Knowledge of this may prevent unnecessary antibiotics therapy for presumed bacterial meningitis.

Study the infect of child anorexia granule on serum ghrelin and leptin of anorexia children and its clinical efficacy. Selected 81 cases of anorexia children aged 1-6 years old into treatment group (42 cases) and control group (39 cases), in addition, 30 case healthy children as healthy control group. The control group children were treated with domperidone suspension 0.3 mg x kg(-1) x d(-1), tid, orally 30 minutes before meals. Treatment group were treated with child anorexia granule, 1-3 years 1 package, bid; 4-6 years 1 package, tid; po, 4 weeks as a course of treatment. Study the change of serum ghrelin and leptin before and after therapy. The study demonstrates that before treatment, the serum ghrelin level of disease group was lower than healthy group (P < 0.01), and the serum leptin level was higher than healthy group (P < 0.01). After treatment, the serum ghrelin level both increase, and the serum leptin decline. And the change of treatment group was significantly different with control group (P < 0.01). And the clinical effective rate are 95.23% and 74.35% (P < 0.01). After 6 months of follow-up visit, the children weight significantly increase in treatment group (P < 0.01). Results indicate that child anorexia granule can facilitate secretion of ghrelin, and inhibit secretion of leptin, so as to work up an appetite. And the molecular mechanism is its infect on serum ghrelin, leptin.

Objective To analyze the influence of nursing intervention on the medical compliance of patients with tuberculosis.Methods We divided 432 patients with tuberculosis into test group and control group according to the in-hospital date in our internal medicine department from January in 2004 to April in 2005.The control group received routine nursing intervention while the test group got full health education during the routine nursing intervention.Results The medical compliance of patients was superior to that of the control group after full health education during the routine nursing intervention(P<0.01).Conclusion We could improve the medical compliance of patients by giving full health education during the routine nursing intervention.

Percutaneous vertebroplasty has many advantages such as minimal trauma, simple mode of operation, rapid and correct therapeutic effect, high safety, and wide indications. Therefore it has been generally paid close attention and accepted. Percutaneous vertebroplasty has conspicuous curative effect, especially in vertebral compression fracture. Polymethyl methacrylate is the most used filling materials at present; There is not significant difference between unipedicular and bipedicular vertebroplasty; Using vertebral body venography and appropriate dense bone cement can reduce leakage of bone cement; Bolster for self-replacement can rebound vertebral body height, and balloon kyphoplasty and sky bone expander kyphoplasty can be avoided; In order to reduce refracture of vertebral body, anti-osteoporosis drugs should be used in the treatment of percutaneous vertebroplasty.

Objective To investigate the effect of elispheric motion on balance and walking ability of hemiplegic patients after stroke. Methods From September to December, 2016, 40 hemiplegic patients after stroke were randomly divided into control group (n=20) and ob-servation group (n=20). Both groups received conventional rehabilitation, additionally, the control group received juggling ball training, and the observation group received elispheric motion combined with juggling ball training, 20 minutes a day, six days a week for six weeks. They were assessed with the Fugl-Meyer Assessment-Sensory (FMA-S), Fugl-Meyer Assessment-Lower Extremity (FMA-LE), Berg Bal-ance Scale (BBS) and TimedUp and GoTest (TUGT) before and six weeks after training. Results After training, the scores of FMA-S, FMA-LE, BBS significantly increased (t>10.012, P<0.05) in both groups, and were higher in the observation group than in the control group (t>2.129, P<0.05);the time of TUGT significantly shortened (t>10.001, P<0.001) in both groups, and were shorter in the observation group than in the control group (t>4.669, P<0.05). Conclusion Elispheric motion can facilitate to improve the balance and walking ability of hemi-plegic patients after stroke.

Objective To investigate the relationship between dietarytherapy compliance of diabetes mellitus patients with pulmonary tuberculosis and glycemic control.Methods According to the three levels (good,medial and bad) of dietary therapy compliance,136 diabetesmellituspatients with pulnonary tuberculosis were divided into three groups signed by group 1 (good compliance),2 (medial compliance) and 3 (bad compliance).Questionnaire survey was appliedto respectively investigate the blood glucose level,body mass index,the sputum negative conversion rate and loci absorption rate of the patients in those groups.Results Of the 136 patients,group 1 had 32 (23.5％) patients,while group 2 had 62 (45.6％)patients,group 3 had 42 (30.9％) patients.Among these three groups,the fasting blood glucose (FBG) was (8.36±1.62) mmol/L,the postprandial 2h blood glucose (PBG) was (10.43±1.69) mmol/L,the HbAlc was (8.15±0.99)％,the body mass index (BMI) was (20.46±1.68) kg/m2,the sputum negative conversion rate was 55.9％ (76/136),foci absorption rate was 46.3％ (63/136).The comparisons of the three groups on FBG (F=34.01,P＜ 0.01),PBG (F=30.77,P＜ 0.01),HbA1c (F=32.35,P＜ 0.01),BMI (F=16.29,P＜0.01),the sputum negative conversion rate(x2=10.49,P ＜ 0.05),foci absorption rate(x2=7.47,P ＜ 0.05) had statistical significance.Thecourse of diabetes (x2=18.14,P＜ 0.01) and patients' literacy (x2=21.04,P＜ 0.01) were both influence factors of dietarytherapy compliance.Conclusions Dietarytherapy compliance of diabetes mellitus patients with pulmonary tuberculosis is low and the glycemic control of those patients is poor.The situation of glycemic control and the therapeutic effect,the education about health to patients should be enhanced to make the dietarytherapy compliance better.

Objective:To investigate the expression of myocardium connexin 43 (Cx43) in late exercise preconditioning (LEP) cardioprotection.Methods: Eight-week-old adult male Sprague Dawley rats were randomly assigned into four groups (n=8). Myocardial injury was judged in accordance with serum levels of cTnⅠ and NT-proBNP as well as hematoxylin basicfuchsin picric acid staining of myocardium.Cx43mRNA was detected byin situhybridization and qualified by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR. Cx43 protein was localized by immunohistochemistry and its expression level was determined by western blotting.Results:The LEP obviously attenuated the myocardial ischemia/hypoxia injury caused by exhaustive exercise. There was no significant difference of Cx43mRNA level between the four groups. Cx43 protein level was decreased significantly in group EE (P<0.05). However, LEP produced a significant increase in Cx43 protein level (P<0.05), and the decreased Cx43 protein level in exhaustive exercise was significantly up-regulated by LEP (P<0.05).Conclusions:LEP protects rat heart against exhaustive exercise-induced myocardial injury by up-regulating the expression of myocardial Cx43.
