2.Cell transplantation in treatment of bradyarrhythmias: an update
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1982;0(01):-
The deepening of our understanding on the cardiac electrophysiology mechanism and the progress on cell transplantation technique have expanded our view in treating various kinds of cardiac diseases. Over the past few years literatures have reported many kinds of cell transplantation techniques for treating various types of bradyarrhythmias, such as complete heart block and sinoatrial node dysfunction, and impressive achievements have been made by far. This review discusses the advantages and flaws of the existing strategies and the future of biological pacemakers.
3.MicroRNA and Tumor
Journal of International Oncology 2006;0(10):-
MicroRNAs(miRNAs) are small mm-coding RNA molecules that post-transcriptionul-ly regulate gene expression. Advanced studies show that miRNA are involved in cancer. Even some scientists regard miRNAs as oncogenes or tumor associated genes. This review tries to have a brief introduction on the progress in the relationship between miRNAs and tumor's formation, development, diagnosis, therapy and prognosis in humans.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2013;(35):6261-6266
BACKGROUND:Creation of a precise finite element model is an important basis for the finite element mechanical analysis of the spine. The reports on the precise finite element model are less.
OBJECTIVE:To create L 3-L 5 lumbar three-dimensional finite element model and validate this model with normal CT data.
METHODS:A 39-year-old male healthy volunteer with the height of 175 cm and weighted 65 kg was selected, then the L 3-L 5 lumbar spines were scanned with 16 row spiral CT to obtain 101 CT images with the thickness of 1.25 mm. Solid geometric model was established with Geomagic9.0 software, then determined the unit type,
divided the finite element mesh, and established the finite element model for loading and calculating.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:A L 3-L 5 lumbar three-dimensional finite element model was established. It
included 213 736 nodes and 799 779 elements. The ranges of motion of L 3-L 4 and L 4-L 5 segments of the model were consistent with cadaveric biomechanical testing results, verified the effectiveness of the model, so the
model could be used for experimental research.

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2010;17(z2):11-13
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of ginkgo-damole combined with prostaglandin E1 and explore its influences on clinical evaluation and hemorheology paramaters in treatment of diabetic patients with peripheral arterial disease(PAD). Methods 64 patients were randomly divided into two groups: the therapeutic group was given conventional therapy adding ginkgo-damole combined with prostaglandin E1, while the control group was given ginkgo-damole only. To compare ankle-brachial index(ABI) and hemorheology changes before and after the use of ginkgo-damole combined with prostaglandin E1 in diabetic patients with PAD. Result The total effective rate was 91.2% in therapeutic group, and the significant efficiency in therapeutic group was higher than that in control group ( 67.6% vs 36.7% ) ( P < 0. 05 ). Compared with before the treatment , ABI increased significantly and hemorheological parameters improved significantly in two groups after the treatment( P < 0. 05 or P < 0. 01 ), and the difference were more significant in therapeutic group than in control group( P < 0. 05 or P < 0. 01 ). Conclusion Ginkgo-damole combined with prostaglandin E1 was effective and safe in treatment of diabetic patients with PAD.

Objective To detect the initial results of total hip arthroplasty (THA) after failure of internal fixation of femoral neck fractures and investigate the key points in surgical procedures and prosthesis selection. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 36 cases who had THA for femoral neck fractures due to the initially failed internal fixation between January 2007 and December 2012.There were 21 males and 15 females, with age ranging from 46 to 72 years (mean,58.6 years). After internal fixation,13 cases were complicated by femoral head necrosis, eight fracture nonunion, and 15 fracture nonunion combined with femoral head necrosis. All the 36 cases had cementless THA,including proximally fixed stem in 25 cases and distally fixed stem in 11 cases.Harris hip score was assessed before operation and at follow-up.Results All the cases received a follow-up of 26-52 months (mean,32.5 months).Mean Harris hip score improved from 26.3 to 83.6,including excellent results in 12 cases, good in 22,and fair in two, with excellence-good rate of 94%.Conclusion With respect to the failed internal fixation of femoral neck fractures,THA is an effective remedial method to improve hip function and quality of life of the patients.

China Pharmacy 2016;27(26):3633-3635
OBJECTIVE:To analyze and compare the congruity between Maria and DDW-J standard and Roussel uclaf causali-ty assessment method(RUCAM)for diagnosing drug-induced liver injury(DILI),and evaluate its application. METHODS:In ret-rospective analysis, the clinical data of 122 patients with DILI with RUCAM ≥3 scores was quantitatively scored by Maria and DDW-J standard,χ2 test was conducted for statistical analysis. RESULTS:Among the 122 cases,120 cases(98.4%)were classi-fied as“likely and possible”by DDW-J standard, which was significantly higher than the 58 cases(47.5%)that classified as“pos-sible”by Maria standard, with statistical significance;and compared with Maria standard,DDW-J standard was more closer to RU-CAM scoring results. CONCLUSIONS:DDW-J standard is superior to Maria standard, and close to RUCAM scoring results for DI-LI;RUCAM is still the DILI diagnostic evaluation system with high accuracy and operability.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2013;(41):7199-7204
BACKGROUND:Tissue engineering requires a lot of seed cells. Osteoblasts have become important seed cells in bone tissue engineering. However, it is difficult to culture the osteoblasts, and cellnumber, purity, proliferation and differentiation activity are different obtained by different culture methods. OBJECTIVE:To identify and compare three common primary osteoblat culture methods, and to explore a method for the primary culture of osteoblasts which is easy to operate, economical and effective, in order to provide basis for the further experimental research. METHODS:Calvarias were dissected from newborn Sprague Dawley rats in 72 hours, and osteoblasts were isolated with col agenase digestion method, sequential digestion method and bone tissue method respectively. The morphological observation and cytochemical staining were performed, the growth curve of the cells was drawn with cellCounting Kit-8 method, and the rate of living osteobalsts was counted with trypan blue staining. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The proliferation of the insolated and cultured osteoblasts was wel with typical characteristics of osteoblasts, cytochemical staining results were positive. Compared with the sequential col agenase digestion method, the col agenase digestion method presented higher production of osteoblasts and higher cellsurvival rate (P<0.05), and the col agenase digestion method was easier than the sequential col agenase digestion method and cost less than sequential col agenase digestion method. Bone tissue method was the easiest method with less damage to cells, but bone tissue method presented lower production of osteoblasts and cost much more time, which cannot be used in large-scale osteoblast culture. The col agenase digestion method is a simple, efficient and ideal method for isolation and culture of primary osteoblasts.
