2.Evaluation of pancreaticojejunostomy and pancreatogastrostomy in pancreaticoduodenectomy
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2013;(2):105-108
Pancreatic fistula is a common complication after pancreaticoduodenectomy(PD),and other complications occurred secondary to it such as hemorrhage and severe abdominal infection are also the main cause of death after PD.Proper selection of anastomotic methods is essential to the success of PD.The most common anastomotic methods can be divided into pancreaticojejunostomy and pancreatogastrostomy, but the effects of these methods have always been controversial consistently. In this paper, the effects of pancreaticojejunostomy and pancreatogastrostomy in the prevention of postoperative pancreatic fistula were synthetically analyzed based on recent research results.
3.Study the relationship between neural apoptosis and the expression of Bcl-2,Bax proteins in the perihematomal brain tissue of patients with intracerebral hemorrhage
Journal of Clinical Neurology 1993;0(03):-
Objective To study the relationship between neural apoptosis and the expression of Bcl-2,Bax proteins in the perihematomal brain tissue of patients with intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH).Methods The rate of neural apoptosis of perihematomal brain tissue was examined by TUNEL method and the Bcl-2,Bax proteins expression were detected by immunohistochemisty method. Correlation analysis was done not only for the expression of Bcl-2,Bax proteins and apoptosis rate with hematoma volume but also for the apoptosis rate with hematoma volume, the scores of clinical nervous impairment and the course of disease. Results The apoptosis rate and the expression of Bcl-2,Bax proteins in the perihematomal brain tissue of ICH patients significantly increased in comparison with the control group (all P

Prior to implantation, the blastocyst has to hatch out of its zona pellucida to invade the endometrium .In mammals including humans , failure of blastocyst hatching leads to infertility .Blastocyst hatching is believed to be regulated by a variety of autocrine and paracrine molecules such as proteases , cyclooxygenase-2, p38 mitogen-activated protein ki-nase, activin A and Wnt signal pathway .This article reviews the mechanisms of the key molecular regulators involved in mammalian blastocyst hatching and hatching-assisting methods , which can help clarify the mechanism of blastocyst hatching and the treatment of infertility due to failure in blastocyst hatching .

This article investigates the effect of regulating wei qi and tonifying brain on insomnia from two aspects. It provides theoretical basis for clinical application of regulating wei qi and tonifying brain. First of all, this method regulates the sleep function to keep the body’s yin-yang balance by regulating wei qi. Wei qi is the defense qi in the body and has close relationship with sleep. Wei qi can regulate sleep by the excitement and depression of Yin and Yang Heel Meridians. Then, this method also can improve the brain function for insomnia treatment by dredging Governor Channel and tonifyjng marrow, tonifyjng brain and calming the nerves. On basis of inheriting traditional theory, this article expounds the theory of treating insomnia by regulating wei qi and tonifying brain and verifi es its stable therapeutic effect and safty by clinic study.

Multimedia teaching and SimMan,which is a portable and advanced patient simulator for team training, were used to develop a new course for the medical students of grade four. This course was named "SimMan clinical techniques training". The course of Sim-Man clinical techniques training can help students comprehend truly all kinds of cases in clinical practices, improve their capabilities of clinical thoughts and clinical techniques, and it makes fine basis for their clinical practices in the hospitals.

Objective To evaluate diagnostic value and clinical significance of procalcitonin (PCT)in infection in intensive care unit (ICU)patients. Methods 96 ICU patients in a hospital between September 2011 and March 2012 were selected for study, levels of patients’PCT,high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (HsCRP)and white blood cell (WBC)count were detected, statistical analysis were conducted. Results Compared with non-bacteria infected patients, serum PCT and HsCRP levels in all bacteria infected patients increased, the difference were significant (Z=-6.102;-3.918,both P <0.05 );WBC count was not significantly different(Z =0.212.P >0.05).PCT sensi-tivity,specificity,positive predictive value, and negative predictive value for diagnosing infection was 82.35%, 67.86%,86.15%,and 61 .29% respectively;receiver operating characteristic (ROC)curve of PCT,HsCRP,and WBC was 0.898,0.755,and 0.581 respectively. Conclusion There are higher sensitivity and specificity of PCT to predict infection, which is helpful for early detection of infection in critically ill patients.

Objective To analyze clinical effects of gastric tube operation for treatment of esophageal cancer in elderly patients and evaluate its clinical efficacy and safety. Methods A total of 171 patients aged 60-72 years with esophageal cancer in our hospital were selected. They were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.Treatment group was treated with gastric tube operation, and control group was traditionally treated with complete replacement of esophagus with stomach. The quality of life, patient satisfaction and safety of operation were evaluated after 3 weeks,6 months and 12 months after operation, respectively. Results The operation for esophageal cancer in 171 patients were successful. At 3 weeks after the operation, the score of life quality in treatment group and control group were both low [(67.3±9.6) vs.(65.3±8.4)],and there were no significant differences between the two groups (P>0.05).At 6 months and 12 months after operation, the scores of life quality were (89.2±8.3) and (90.3±9.6) in treatment group, and (66.5± 10.4) and (60.5 ± 11.2) in contol group, respectively. There were statistical differences between the two groups after 6 months and 12 months of operation (P<0.05).The complication rate in treatment group (6.9%) was much lower than that in control group (30.6%),and there were significant differences between the two groups (x2 =18.43,P<0.01).The patient satisfaction was in no differences between the two groups at 3 weeks after operation (P> 0.05),while there were statistically significant differences at 6 and 12 weeks after the operation (P<0.05).Conclusions Gastric tube operation in treatment of elderly patients with esophageal cancer, can effectively improve the life quality, and prevent the occurrence of postoperative complications, which is worthy of clinical application.
