Objective:
To investigate the level of maternal and infant health literacy and its influencing factors among lying-in women, so as to provide insights into formulating maternal and infant health education and promotion strategies.
Methods:
Lying-in women were sampled from Children's Hospital of Shanxi using a cluster sampling method from March to September 2022. Demographic characteristics, maternal and infant health literacy, and health education demands were collected through a questionnaire survey. Factors affecting maternal and infant health literacy among lying-in women were identified using a multivariable logistic regression model.
Results:
A total of 1 099 questionnaires were allocated, and 1 059 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective rate of 96.36%. Participants had a mean age of (30.93±4.01) years, 930 urban residents (87.82%), and 706 pluripara (66.67%). The overall prevalence of maternal and infant health literacy was 35.51% among lying-in women, and the prevalence rates of basic knowledge and concept, healthy lifestyles and behaviors and basic skills were 47.69%, 83.10% and 38.81%, respectively. Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that educational level (diploma or undergraduate degree, OR=3.916, 95%CI: 1.250-9.031; master degree and above, OR=4.557, 95%CI: 1.498-11.460), occupation (company employees, OR=2.701, 95%CI: 1.385-5.268; medical staff, OR=2.981, 95%CI: 1.289-6.893), pluripara (OR=5.649, 95%CI: 3.919-8.142), participating in health education activities (OR=2.332, 95%CI: 1.524-3.570), and participating in schools for pregnant women (OR=2.252, 95%CI: 1.541-3.291) were promoting factors for maternal and infant health literacy; while gestational hypertension (OR=0.255, 95%CI: 0.133-0.488) and gestational diabetes (OR=0.318, 95%CI: 0.211-0.478) were inhibiting factors for maternal and infant health literacy. Most participants acquired health knowledge through online media (62.42%), and hoped to participate in health education activities through online media publicity (68.18%).
Conclusions
The maternal and infant health literacy level of lying-in women in this survey is associated with education, occupation, parturition frequency, participation in health education activities, participation in schools for pregnant women, gestational hypertension and gestational diabetes.

microRNAs (miRNAs), a class of endogenous non-coding RNA about 22 nucleotide long, regulate gene expression at the post-transcription level by inhibiting the translation or inducing the degradation of their target mRNAs in organisms. A lot of studies reveal that miRNAs in adipose tissues are involved in adipocyte differentiation and lipid metabolism and modulated by multiple transcription factors, adipocytokines and environmental factors, which form a complex regulatory network maintaining the homeostasis of adipose tissues. The discovery of circulating miRNAs adds new elements to the regulatory network. To study the metabolic diseases such as obesity, we should keep a new insight into the complex dynamic network. In this review, we summarize the latest studies of miRNAs in adipose tissues, which might provide new strategies for the treatment of obesity and other related diseases.

Objective:To explore the effect of mild cognitive impairment on the subjective well-being of the elderly and the mediating role of self-efficacy in it. To provide an effective basis for health management and clinical intervention in the elderly with mild cognitive impairment. Methods:A total of 164 patients with mild cognitive impairment from December 2018 to June 2019 were surveyed by the General Self-efficacy Scale, the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale, and the Memorial University of Newfoundland Scale of Happiness Scale. Results:The overall score of self-efficacy was 21.41±3.98, and subjective well-being was 26.44±7.35. There was a positive correlation among cognitive function, self-efficacy and subjective well-being, except that there was no significant correlation between self-efficacy and cognitive function( r values were 0.263-0.687, P<0.01). Self-efficacy played a part in mediating between cognitive function and subjective well-being in patients with mild cognitive impairment, accounting for 37.8% of the total effect. Conclusions:Mild cognitive impairment can also have a negative impact on the subjective well-being of the elderly. Among them, self-efficacy plays a particularly important role in mediating. Interventions about self-efficacy on the elderly with mild cognitive impairment may have more significant effects.
6. Analysis of pregnancy outcome of prenatal ultrasonic diagnosed solitary lateral ventricular asymmetry
Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging Technology 2020;36(8):1127-1130
Objective: To analyze the pregnancy outcome of prenatal ultrasonic diagnosed fetal solitary lateral ventricular asymmetry. Methods: Imaging data and pregnancy outcome of 191 fetuses with prenatal ultrasonic diagnosed solitary lateral ventricle asymmetry were retrospectively analyzed. The infants were followed up for 6-12 months after birth, and infant neurodevelopmental assessment was used to assess whether there were abnormal reactions and behaviors. Results: Among 191 fetuses, 98 were found with asymmetric (98/191, 51.31%), while 93 were found with unilateral ventricular broadening (93/191, 48.69%). With the development of pregnancy, the width of lateral ventricle became normal in 130 fetuses (130/191, 68.06%), remained as former in 58 fetuses (58/191, 30.37%) but further expanded in 3 fetuses (3/191, 1.57%). In addition, 2 cases underwent umbilical cord blood puncture chromosome karyotype examination, 1 was trisomy 18, the karyotype was 47, XN, +18, and the other was normal. Normal delivery achieved in 189 fetuses, while 2 received labor induction, 1 with chromosomal karyotype abnormality and the other was considered as unilateral lateral ventricular progressive broadening combined with prenatal MRI suspected bilateral cerebral hemisphere dysplasia. Conclusion: Fetal solitary unilateral unilateral ventricular asymmetry has no obvious impact on fetal growth and development fetuses. The pregnancy outcome and prognosis mainly depends on the intrauterine progress of lateral ventricular width, which need to be closely monitored and followed-up.

Results
Conclusions:
A total of 31 314 cases of notifiable respiratory infectious diseases were reported in Huzhou City from 2017 to 2022, with an average annual reported incidence of 169.12/105. The reported incidence of notifiable respiratory infectious diseases appeared a tendency towards a rise in Huzhou City from 2017 to 2022 (P<0.05). The top six reported diseases in terms of case numbers were influenza (20 048 cases), tuberculosis (6 920 cases), COVID-19 (1 893 cases), mumps (1 413 cases), pertussis (475 cases) and scarlet fever (442 cases), accounting for 99.61% of the total cases. The incidence of influenza, COVID-19 and pertussis showed a tendency towards a rise, the incidence of mumps and tuberculosis showed a tendency towards a decline (all P<0.05), and scarlet fever remained at a low-level incidence (P>0.05). Respiratory infectious diseases were mainly reported in winter (January, February and December), with 14 644 cases accounting for 46.77%. There were 15 068 cases reported in schools and kindergartens, accounting for 48.12%. The incidence showed a U-shaped variation with age, with the highest incidence in residents at ages of 10 years and below (987.68/105), and showing a tendency towards a rise in residents at ages of 60 years and above.
The incidence of respiratory infectious diseases in Huzhou City from 2017 to 2022 increased significantly. Influenza, tuberculosis, COVID-19, mumps and pertussis are key notifiable respiratory infectious diseases. Residents at ages of 10 years and below and 60 years and above should be given a high priority for respiratory infectious disease control.
