Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2014;30(3):38-40
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of using warm paste during cesarean section. Methods 300 cases underwent cesarean section in obstetric department of our hospital from January to June 2013 were collected, who were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group with 150 cases in each group. The temperature, clinical curative effect and eliminating time of shiver reaction after cesarean section of two groups were observed. Results In the observation group, there were 92 cases (61.33%) whose temperature were higher than 36℃,23 cases (15.33%) whose temperature were less than 36℃,and compared with the control group, the difference in different temperature was statistically significant. The observation of shivering patients in two groups after treatment showed that the total effective rate of the experimental group was 94.29%,while that of the control group was 76.92%.The difference was statistically significant between two groups. The difference was statistically significant in the eliminating time of shiver reaction after treatment between two groups. Conclusions Using warm paste during cesarean section is safe and effective, and can significantly reduce complications.

Objective To study the expression of CD44V6 in human epidermal tumours and malignant melanoma. Methods The expression of CD44V6 was detected by an immunohistochemical technique in squamous cell carcinoma(SCC), basal cell carcinoma(BCC) and malignant melanoma(MM). Results CD44V6 was expressed on the membrane of tumour cells of 10 patients with SCC, and there was downregulation of CD44V6 expression which along with the decrease of differentiation of SCC tumour cells. Tumour cells of 8 patients with MM and 10 patients with BCC did not express CD44V6. Conclusion Our findings suggest that CD44V6 expression is correlated with the types of skin tumours.

Objective To explore the effect of rehabilitation on pneumonia in children with cerebral palsy (CP).Methods60 CP children with pneumonia were randomly divided into the control group and rehabilitation group with 30 cases in each group. All children in two groups received active support therapy but those in the rehabilitation group were added with rehabilitation treatment.ResultsThe time of body temperature decline, alleviation of cough and expectoration, role disappear of the rehabilitation group were shortened compared with that of the control group ( P<0.05).ConclusionRehabilitation treatment is helpful for treatment of pneumonia in CP children.

Clinics in the Olympic venues make a critical component in the medical service system for Olympic venues. The clinic in the fencing hall is cited as an example in this paper, which introduced the experiences and lessons learnt from the site preparation, personnel deployment and management, rules and regulations, and drug/instrumentation readiness.

Objective To investigate the X-ray characteristics and differential points of intra-thoracic malignant lymphoma-Hodgkin’s disease(HD) and Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma(NHL).Methods The X-ray manifestations of intra-thoracic malignant lymphoma in 66 cases(including HD in 20 and NHL in 46) with complete clinical informations and pathologic results were retrospectively analysed. The lymphadenopathy of the hilar and mediastinum, the changes of the intra-lung and pleura were mainly observed and compared with the pathological results.Try to find the characteristic X-ray appearance of the HD and NHL.Results (1)48 cases had enlargement of lymph nodes of the hilar with/or mediastinum, and common seen in NHL,and the lymphopathy appeared as unilateral or asymmetry in NHL,bilateral or symmetry in HD.(2)The involvement of lymph nodes was mostly the anterior mediastinum and retrosternal in HD,the posterior mediastinum in NHL and to cause the paraspinal line widening.(3)Intra-pulmonary lesions always were interstitial changes and common seen in NHL,and seldom seen in HD.(4)NHL was often accompanied with pleural lesions, and HD not. Conclusion Both HD and NHL have its own X-ray characteristics .Carefully observing and analyzing these characteristics are helpful in diagnosing and differentiating HD and NHL.

Objective To investigate the effects of artificial airway cuff pressure at different monitoring intervals on ventilator associated pneumonia (VAP) in critical patients. Methods About 56 patients treated with mechanical ventilation from January 2015 to December were grouped by ward numbers:32 patients in the south ward were in the experiment group and 24 in the north ward were in the control group. The two groups were given the same routine care, e.g., mechanical ventilation by endotracheal intubation. In the experiment group, the cuff pressure was controlled to 30cm H2O every six hours and the control group was every 4h. The two groups were compared in terms of the incidence of VAP during mechanical ventilation, occurrence time of VAP, duration of mechanical ventilation and mortality. Result The incidence of VAP during mechanical ventilation, occurrence time of VAP, duration of mechanical ventilation, and mortality showed no significant differences between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusions For mechanically ventilated patients, the cuff pressure controlled to 30cm H2O every 6h can not increase the incidence of VAP, duration of mechanical ventilation and mortality. It can reduce the nursing workload.

Objective To investigate the value of susceptibility weighted imaging (SWI) in the diagnosis of hemorrhagic diffuse axonal injury (DAI). Methods A retrospective study was conducted on 20 patients with DAI who received MRI examination at day 3 post-injury.MRI sequences included T1WI,T2WI,fluid attenuated inversion recovery ( FLAIR),diffusion weighted imaging (DWI) and SWI.There were 15 patients with the Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score≤8,three with GCS score of 9-12 and two with GCS of 13-15.The location and quantity of hemorrhage focus were counted. The area of hemorrhage focus was measured on each MR sequence.Differences of detection rate of hemorrhage focus on each sequence were compared by using X2 test. The correlation between DAI related bleeding area and GCS score was analyzed. Results DAI related hemorrhage focus showed a larger number in superficial cerebrum than that in posterior cranial fossa and in deep cerebrum. The detection rate of hemorrhage focus on SWI was the highest,as compared with other sequences ( P < 0.05 ).Bleeding area and GCS score showed a negative correlation (r =-0.921,P < 0.01 ). Conclusion SWI is very sensitive in detection of the intracerebral hemorrhage focus in the acute period of traumatic DAI.

Objective To understand the awareness status of malaria control knowledge of primary and secondary school stu-dents in malaria endemic areas of Shandong Province,so as to provide the baseline information for formulating the malaria control strategy. Methods A cross-sectional survey was conducted in 5 TypeⅡmalaria-endemic counties in Shandong Province. A struc-tured questionnaire survey was administrated to students in primary and secondary schools. Results A total of 1 884 students were completed with the questionnaires and all were effective. The total awareness rate of malaria control knowledge was 65.9%, and 54.7% of the students knew the transmission route of malaria and only 31.5% of the students were aware of the preventive methods of malaria. There were significant differences of the awareness scores of malaria control knowledge among different malar-ia endemic areas but there were no significant differences between the awareness rates of male and female students and between two different education levels. Conclusions The awareness of malaria control knowledge of primary and secondary school stu-dents in Shandong Province is poor;therefore, the health education of malaria control knowledge for primary and secondary school students should be strengthened.
