ObjectiveTo compare therapeutic effects of fluticasone propionate aerosol combined with fluticasone nasal pray and alone fluticasone propionate aerosol for bronchial asthma complcated with allergic rhinitis.MethodsFifty asthmatic children with allergic rhinitis were randomly divided into observation group and control group.Observation group were treated with fluticasone propionate aerosol combined with fluticasone nasal pray,control group were treated with fluticasone propionate aerosol alone.All the patients were observed for 6 months.The lung function parameters( FEV1％ ),the number of acute asthma symptom,the number of days without acute asthma symptom,the number of acute allergic symptoms at one month,three months,six months after the treatment.were observed.ResultsFEV1％of observation group were(107.2 ± 15.3)％,( 115.3 ± 11.9)％,( 131.3 ± 10.9)％,and were significantly improved(98.6 ± 13.6)％,( 102.6 ± 13.6)％,( 126.5 ±9.7)％ 、(t =2.306,3.355,3.714,all P ＜0.05) at one month,three months,six months after the treatment.The number of acute asthma symptom,the number of days without acute asthma symptom,the number of acute allergic symptoms of observation group were(0.13 ±0.11),(150.2 ±14.3),(0.25 ±0.31),and control group were(0.30 ±0.44),(116.5 ±23.1),(0.65 ±0.24),Observation group had significant difference compared with control group(t =2.413,3.435,3.734,all P ＜0.05).ConclusionThere was significant therapeutic effect of fluticasone propionate aerosol combined with fluticasone nasal pray for bronchial asthma complicated with allergic thinitis,and was worthy of clinical application

BACKGROUND:Self-assembling peptide scaffolds have attracted much more attention among three dimensional biomaterials due to its biocompatibility, biodegradation, and tailor-made properties.
OBJECTIVE:To review the structure and design of functionalized self-assembling RADA peptide, and the recent advances in the use of RADA self-assembling peptide for three-dimensional cel culture in cel therapy applications.
METHODS:Total 224 literatures related to self-assembling peptide and tissue engineering from PubMed, Web of Science and CNKI databases were screened out for this review. The keywords were“self-assembly peptide, tissue engineering”in English and Chinese, respectively. Final y 48 of 224 articles about the design, fictionalization, and three-dimensional cel culture of peptide scaffolds were included in this review.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Self-assembling peptide could undergo spontaneous assembly into wel-ordered interwoven nanofibers in water and rapidly form hydrogel, which physical y mimics the architecture of natural extracel ular matrix to ensure a real three-dimensional microenvironment for cel s. In terms of bio-function, this material can be tailor-made with various bioactive short peptide motifs to promote cel adhesion, proliferation, and differentiation.

Objective To analyze the difference of Young's modulus between cirrhotic patients with different etiologies.Methods There were 1 99 patients with decompensated cirrhosis enrolled in this study, all of them had been diagnosed clinically.There were 139 cases of hepatitis B patients with cirrhosis,26 cases of hepatitis C patients with liver cirrhosis,34 cases of patients with alcoholic cirrhosis,and selected 50 healthy volunteers as control group in the same period.All subj ects underwent liver shear wave elastography examination,measured and recorded the Young's modulus,and compared the difference between each groups.Results The Young's modulus of liver in the healthy control group was (4.81±0.9)kPa,which was lowest in all groups.The Young's modulus of hepatitis B cirrhosis,hepatitis C cirrhosis,alcoholic cirrhosis increased successively,which was (16.3±8.9)kPa,(17.8±4.8)kPa,(30.6±12.3)kPa,respectively,and the difference between the groups was statistically significant(F =27.95,P <0.01).Conclusions There were some differences of the Young's modulus of cirrhotic patients with different etiologies by real-time shear wave elastography.

Objective To explore the application effects of PDCA circulation on behavior management in discharged patients with first cerebral infarction. Methods Patients with first attack of cerebral infarction were enrolled from the department of neurology of the First Hospital of Anhui Medical University from April 2013 to March 2015. According to their admission numbers, patients were divided into the observation group (94 cases) and the control group (80 cases). Besides of the regular personalized secondary prevention, the observation group was also applied for the PDCA cycle for nine months. Stroke Behavior Change Inventory was used to evaluate the changes of their lifestyle and medication compliance one year after discharge for two groups. Results After the observed patients were discharged one year, the changed extent of these five behaviors including quitting smoking, regular monitoring blood pressure and sugar, appropriate exercise, pressure control in the observation group were 0.00 (0.00, 3.00), 1.68 (1.00, 3.00), 1.00 (0.00, 2.00), 1.20 (0.75, 2.00), 1.00 (0.00, 1.00) points, and these in the control group were 0.00 (0.00, 1.0)0, 1.00 (0.00, 2.00), 0.00 (0.00, 1.00), 1.00 (1.00, 2.00), 0.00(0.00, 1.00) points. The observation group in these parameters had significantly higher than the control group (Z=-3.166--2.419, P < 0.05). The changed extent of these behaviors in the medication compliance such as reducing blood glucose, blood pressure, atrial fibrillation, cardiovascular disease, and stroke prevention in the observed group were 0.00 (0.00, 0.00), 0.00 (0.00, 2.00), 0.00 (0.00, 0.00), 0.00 (0.00, 0.00), 3.00 (3.00, 3.00) points, and these in the control group were 0.00 (0.00, 0.00), 0.00 (0.00, 0.79), 0.00 (0.00, 0.00), 0.00 (0.00, 0.80), 0.00 (0.00, 1.50) points. The observation group in these parameters had significantly higher the above parameters than the control group (Z=-8.081--2.595, P<0.05). Conclusions Application of the PDCA circulation in the patients with first attack of cerebral infarction after their discharge can help them correct lifestyle and increase their medical treatment compliance, which is beneficial for secondary prevention of cerebral infarction.

Purpose To propose a novel compression method for region of interest (ROI) based on Curvelet transform and SPIHT algorithm. Materials and Methods The ROI was firstly extracted without compression, and Curvelet transform was applied for the background regions. The Curvelet coefifcients were coded using SPIHT algorithm. Then the images after compression are obtained by inverse Curvelet transform. The ROI and the background were ifnally overlapped to get the full compressed image. Effect of ROI compression and overall compression were compared, as well as the Curvelet transform and wavelet transform, based on peak signal noise ratio. Results The ROI compression highlighted the region of interest and the visual effect was superior to the overall compression. The peak signal to noise of Curvelet transform was higher than that of wavelet transforms, and the compressed images were more clear for the same proportion. Conclusion ROI compression based on Curvelet transform and SPIHT algorithm can achieve efficient compression images without losing important diagnostic information, which complies with the requirement of high precision and high quality of medical image compression.

Objective: To synthesize 10-position schiff base derivatives of emodin and study the anti-tumor activity. Methods:The 10-position schiff base derivatives of emodin were synthesized through emodin reacting with ammonia derivatives in absolute alcohol with acetic acid as the catalytic agent. Their structures were characterized by 1 H-NMR and ESI-MS, and the anti-tumor activity on k562 cells was determined by MTT method. Results:Three 10-position schiff base derivatives were synthesized and the structures were confirmed, and the IC50 on k562 cells was 4. 5, 3. 8 and 2. 0 μmol·L-1 , respectively. Conclusion:The 10-position schiff base de-rivatives of emodin can improve the anti-tumor activity and druggability of the parent compound, which are worthy of further study.

Objective To investigate the infection situation of group A human rotavirus(HRV)among the infants and young children with diarrhea in Lanzhou city,and to observe the relation between genders and age with the viral positive rate.Methods 2 378 samples of feces in the infants and young children with diarrhea were collected in this hospital from January to December 2013.The group A HRV antigen in samples was detected by using the immunochromatographic sandwich method.The positive rates of group A HRV infection in different months were analyzed and compared with the bacterial diarrhea;the viral positive rates in different genders and ages were analyzed.Results Among 2 378 detected feces samples,the average positive rate of group A HRV was 24.1% and the highest was 39.8% during the months from October to December;the average positive rate of bacterial diarrhea was 28.2% and the highest was 38.2% during the months from July to September.The positive rate of group A HRV was 25.5% in male children patients and 22.6% in female children patients,but the difference was not statistically significant (P >0. 05).The differences in the positive rates of group A HRV among different ages had statistical significance (P <0.05).The average positive rate was highest(29.0%)in children patients aged less than 2 years old,followed by the children patients aged 2 - <4 years old,which was 21.6%.Conclusion The group A HRV has the higher infection positive rate in winter and early spring,which mainly focuses on the children patients aged less than 2 years old.

Objective To investigate the efficacy and influence factors of hysteroscopic guiding endometrial resection on dysfunctional uterine bleeding.Methods One hundred and eighty women with dysfunctional uterine bleeding were selected as our subjects in Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Qinhuangdao from Jan.2009 to Jan.2011.One hundred and fifty which meet with operation indications underwent hysteroscopic guiding endometrial resection.Operation periods,blood loss,adverse effects rate were recorded.Serum follicle stimulating hormone (FSH),luteinizing hormone (LH),estradiol (E2) and progesterone (P) hormone levels were detected at preoperative and postoperative.The efficacy was recorded at 6 and 12 months after the procedure.Results The average operation time and amount of bleeding were (31.2 ± 11.0)min and (32.3 ± 10.5) ml,and no blood transfusion performed during the operation.All cases got the succeed operation.There were no significant difference in terms of serum FSH,LH,E2 and P concentrations before and after treatment(P ＞0.05).At 6 months after treatment,improvement rate was 64.0％ (96/150),and effective rate was 32.0％ (48/150).The total effective rate was 96.0％ (144/150).At 12 months after treatment,the improvement rate was 58.0％ (87/150),effective rate was 36.0％ (54/150).The total effective rate was 94.0％(141/150).There was significant different in terms of total effective rate between 6 months and 12 months after treatment(x2 =113.6,P ＞ 0.05).Postoperative complications occurred in 2 cases,including 1 cases of abdominal pain,and 1 cases of dysmenorrhea.Uterine cavity depth,age and disease duration were the main factors affect the clinical efficacy.(OR(95 ％ CI):-1.14 (-1.17 to-1.07),1.60 (1.31 to 2.08),-1.02(-1.14 to-1.08),P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Treatment of hysteroscopic guiding endometrial resection on dysfunctional uterine bleeding is proved to be efficacy due to the less adverse reaction.

Background and purpose:PTEN mutation has been found in 20%-40% of malignant gliomas.The common mutant epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR vⅢ)was reported to coexpress in PTEN-deficient EGFR-expressing tumor.PTEN has been shown to interact directly with FAK and reduce its tyrosine phosphorylation levels to inhibit cell invasion.The invasion of glioma cells with EGFRvⅢ expression and PTEN deficiency is increased.This study was to observe whether PTEN inhibits glioma cell invasion even in the presence of strong pro-invasive signals provided by constitutive EGFR activity.Methods:U87?EGFR cells were transfected with pcDNA3.1 constructs encoding PTEN and the cells invasion levels were detected by transwell invasion assay.The expression of FAK was detected by immunoblotting.FAK expression vector was transfected into U87?EGFR-wtPTEN cells and the change of cells invasion was documented.Results:PTEN and PTEN(G129E)could inhibit cell invasion induced by EGFRvⅢ.PTEN and PTEN(G129E)could decrease the FAK phosphorylation at Tyr397.Over expression of FAK in U87?EGFR-PTEN abrogated PTEN-induced down-regulation of the phosphorylation status of FAK and rescued cell invasion.Conclusions:PTEN could inhibit cell invasion induced by EGFRvⅢ by dephosphorylating FAK.

Objective To investigate the relationship between serum CC10 protein and lung injury induced by mechanical ventilation.Methods Forty healthy Wistar rats of both sexes weighing 200-250 g were randomly divided into 5 groups(n=8 each):group Ⅰ control;group Ⅱ mild lung injury[VT=7 ml/kg,duration of mechanical ventilation(t):2 h];group Ⅲ moderate lung injury(VT=7 ml/kg,t=4 h);group Ⅳ severe lung injury(VT=40 ml/kg,t=2 h);group Ⅴ extremely severe lung injury(VT=40 ml/kg,t=4 h).The animals were anesthetized with intraperitoneal 10% chloral hyrdrate 3.5 ml/kg and tracheostomized.Group Ⅰ received no mechanical ventilation.The animals in group Ⅱ-Ⅴ were mechanically ventilated with air(FiO2=21%,RR=40 bpm,I:E=1:2).The animals were sacrificed at the end of mechanical ventilation.The lungs were immediately removed for microscopic examination and determination of W/D lung weight ratio.The left lung was lavaged.The CC10 protein level in broncho-alveolar lavage fluid(BALF)and serum were determined by Western blotting.The Clara cells in the bronchiolar epithelium were examined by immno-histochemistry.Results The level of CC10 protein in BALF was significantly lower in group Ⅳ and Ⅴ while the serum CC10 protein level was significantly higher in group Ⅱ-Ⅴ than in group Ⅰ.The serum CC10 protein level was positively correlated while the CC10 protein level in BALF was negatively correlated with the severity of lung injury and W/D ratio.Conclusion The serum CC10 protein is closely related to the severity of lung injury induced by mechanical ventilation.
