1.Mekel diverticulitis misdiagnosed as acute appendicitis in 7 cases and literature review

Objective To investigate the clinical features of Mekel diverticulitis,and to improve the cognition rate and diagnosis rate of the disease.Methods The clinical data of 7 patients with Mekel diverticulitis misdiagnosed as acute appendicitis were retrospectively analyzed,and the related literature was reviewed.Results 7 cases of Mekel diverticulitis were misdiagnosed as acute appendicitis before surgery,all corrected diagnosis and operation.One case of mild incision infection after surgery,the remaining 6 cases did not appear complications.After treatment were cured after 7-12d discharged.Conclusion Mekel diverticulitis is lack of specific clinical manifestations and effective auxiliary examination method,easily misdiagnosed as acute appendicitis,when the clinical manifestations of appendicitis is not typical,need to further analysis,identification;when the surgery found appendix lesions are not coincide with clinical practice,the distal ileum should be routinely probed to determine the presence of Meckel diverticulitis.
2.Effect of maternal deprivation on emotion and expression of dopamine transporter in adult rats

Objective To investigate the change of emotion and striatum dopamine transporter(DAT) expression in adult male rats experiencing maternal deprivation, and to explore whether DNA methylation is involved in the regulatory mechanism of DAT expression. Methods Newborn rats were randomly divided into 2 groups: a maternal separation group (n=16) and a control group (n=14). The maternal deprivation group were separated from their mother for 6 hours (09∶00-15∶00) per day from postnatal day 1 to 14, while the controls (n=14) without the deprivation. When the rats in the 2 groups were 12 week, their spontaneous anxiety levels and exploratory ability in novel environments were assessed by an elevated plus maze and an open field test. DAT mRNA expression in the striatum was detected by reverse transcription-PCR, and its DNA methylation level was measured by bisulfated DNA sequencing. Results Maternally-deprived rats showed lower ability of exploring in a new environment and lower levels of anxiety than the controls. The expression of DAT mRNA in the striatum of the maternal separation group (0.236±0.043) was significantly lower than that in the control group (0.480±0.107) (P<0.05). However the DNA methylation level in the promoter region of DAT was not significantly different between the 2 groups. Conclusion Maternal deprivation influenced the emotion and expression of dopamine transporter in adult rats and DNA methylation may not be involved.
3.Inhibition of rosmarinic acid on the apoptosis of vascular smooth muscle cells induced by hydrogen peroxide

Aim To investigate the effects of rosmarinic acid on H2O2-induced apoptosis in rat VSMCs and its related mechanisms. Methods Flow cytometry was used to determine apoptotic rate of VSMCs. nuclear staining by acridine orange for morphologic change,MTT assay for cell viability and Western blot for expression of Bcl-2,Bax, fas and FasL. Results After being treated by H2O2(0,250,500,750 ?mol?L-1),apoptotic rate of VSMCs was 3.71%?0.56%,17.6%?6.92%,34.9%?2.55 %, and 85.6%?5.22% by FACS analysis,and VSMCs appeared nuclear condense and nuclear fragmentation after being treated by 500 ?mol?L-1 H2O2 for 24 hours,which were typical morphological changes of apoptosis. ① VSMCs treated with 500 ?mol?L-1 H2O2 for 24 hours had a significantly decrease on cell viability compared with control,and the apoptosis rate was increased to 35.7%?1.33%; Bcl-2 protein expression decreased,Bax protein expression increased, Bcl-2/Bax protein ratio decreased and Fas receptor and Fas ligand expression also increased.② Pre-incubation with rosmarinic acid(10, 20, 40 ?mol?L-1)for 30 min enhanced the cell viability, and decreased the apoptotic rate to 31.1%?1.38%,21.2%?1.18%,13.6%?0.51% in a dose-dependent manner. Moreover, Bcl-2/Bax protein ratio increased and Fas and FasL expression decreased. Conclusions ① Rosmarinic acid antagonizes H2O2-induced apoptosis of VSMCs. ② The antagonism of rosmarinic acid on apoptosis may be correlated with an increase Bcl-2/Bax protein ratio and a decrease expression of Fas and FasL protein.
4.Measurement on latency and interpeak latency of brain trigeminal evoked potentials in normal volunteers

Objective To establish the database of brain trigeminal evoked potentials for our laboratory,latency and interpeak latency of brain trigeminal evoked potentials were measured in normal volunteers.Methods Trigeminal nerves in 40 normal volunteers were stimulated with the evoked potential instrument.The results were collected with three-channel records in different ways at the same time.Results It showed two main waves,T1′(-) and T2′(+),in the brain trigeminal evoked potential records with C3,and their latencies were (3.020 5?0.828 9)ms and(6.736 0?1.393 9)ms;its T2-T1 interpeak latency was(3.743 8?1.206 0)ms.Conclusion C3 records showed more stability on brain trigeminal evoked potentials in normal volunteers,it would be helpful to investigate the brain trigeminal evoked potentials in patients.
5.Analysis on characteristics of fifteen short tandem repeat genetic polymorphisms in Yunnan Han population

Objective:To research on the genetic polymorphism distributions of fifteen short tandem repeat ( STR ) loci (D8S1179,D21S11,D7S820,CSF1PO,D3S1358,TH01,D13S317,D16S539,D2S1338,D19S433,VWA,TPOX,D18S51,D5S818, FGA) in Han race of Yunnan. Methods:A total of 313 specimens were collected from the unrelated individuals in Yunnan Han popu-lation. Genome DNA was extracted and amplified by multiplex PCR technique,the PCR products were analyzed by ABI-3130 genetic analyzer capillary electrophoresis detection, collected statistics of each STR loci genotypic frequency, and carried out the Hardy-Weinberg Genetic balance test. Results: No significant deviation from the Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium was observed ( P>0. 05 ) , the heterozygosity of the fifteen STR loci in Yunnan Han population were found to be 0. 636-0. 901, Probability match was 0. 034-0. 220. Discrimination power of signal STR loci was 0. 780-0. 966, power of paternity exclusion was 0. 336-0. 797, polymorphism information content was 0. 555-0. 860,the combined accumulation discrimination power and exclusion probability for the 15 STR loci in Yunnan Han population were determined to be more than 0. 999 999 99 and 0. 999 998 408. The allele frequency of the 15 STR loci had a similarity compared with other areas in China,but also had a slight regional differences. Conclusion: The 15 STR loci( D8S1179, D21S11,D7S820, CSF1PO, D3S1358, TH01, D13S317, D16S539, D2S1338, D19S433, VWA, TPOX, D18S51, D5S818, FGA ) demonstrate high genetic polymorphism in Yunnan Han population, they have a high forensic science application value in paternity testing and individual identification.
6.Related factors of overweight and obesity in children aged 6-12 years in Yiwu of Zhejiang province

Objective:To investigate prevalence and related factors of overweight and obesity in children aged 6-12 years in Yiwu of Zhejiang Province.Methods:The stratified sampling method was used to perform physical examination and questionnaire survey among 500 children aged 6-12 years from five schools in Yiwu (166 from city-level schools, 168 from district-level schools, and 166 from village-level schools). The number of children at each year of 6-12 years was 54 (10.8%), 66 (13.2%), 70 (14.0%), 69 (13.8%), 83 (16.6%), 79 (15.8%) and 79 (15.9%). The factors that affect the prevalence of overweight and obesity were analyzed.Results:Among 500 school-age children, the detection rates of overweight and obesity were 12.8% (64/500) and 11.6% (58/500), respectively. There were significant differences in the detection rates of overweight and obesity between male and female children (16.1%/9.0%, 15.4%/7.3%), among children whose fathers received different levels of education (primary school and below/junior high school/senior high school and above) (25.0%/13.1%/9.2%, 22.9%/11.2%/9.2%), among children whose mothers received different levels of education (primary school and below/junior high school/senior high school and above) (23.5%/12.9%/10.1%, 19.6%/13.3%/7.7%), among children living in cities versus villages (18.6%/8.8%, 16.7%/8.1%), among children performing exercise for different lengths of time (< 0.5 hours/0.5-1.0 hours/> 1.0-2.0 hours/> 2.0 hours) (21.2%/14.9%/13.1%/3.6%, 19.2%/13.1%/11.9%/3.6%), among children with different sleep time (< 8 hours/8-10 hours/>10 hours) (16.8%/14.2%/6.3%, 15.9%/12.7%/5.6%), among children taking dessert at different frequencies (< 3 days per week/3-5 days per week/> 5 days per week) (5.6%/10.3%/23.4%, 4.9%/9.4%/21.4%), among children taking sugary or carbonated drinks at different frequencies (< 3 days per week/3-5 days per week/> 5 days per week) (6.5%/11.2%/17.1%, 6.5%/9.4%/16.1%), and among children who took extra meals before bed (< 3 days per week /3-5 days per week /> 5 days per week) (15.8%/9.4%/20.3%, 14.3%/8.5%/19.0%) (overweight: χ2 = 5.61, 8.41, 6.74, 10.48, 17.45, 6.74, 22.43; obesity: χ2 = 7.88, 6.28, 6.58, 8.63, 14.76, 6.74, 20.69, all P < 0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that boys, unbalanced diet and extra meals before bed are independent risk factors for overweight and obesity in school-age children (all P < 0.05). Sleep time, exercise time and mother's education were protective factors of overweight and obesity (all P < 0.05). Conclusion:The incidences of overweight and obesity among school-age children aged 6-12 years in Yiwu of Zhejiang province are high, and sex, mother's education level, diet, exercise and sleep are the main influential factors of overweight and obesity.

8.Analysis on resistance and epidemic trend of Acinetobacter baumannii in two hospitals of Rushan City

Objective To analyze drug resistance and epidemic features of Acinetobacter baumannii in two hospitals of Rushan city .Methods Acinetobacter baumannii strains were collected from Rushan People′s Hospital and Chinese Medicine Hospital of Rushan in 2015 .Antimicrobial susceptibility test was carried out by Kirby-Bauer(K-B) method .Homology analysis were conducted by pulsed-field gel electrophoresis(PFGE) in 50 Acinetobacter baumannii strains .Results There were 158 Acinetobacter baumannii strains were isolated ,108 strains were from Rushan People′s Hospital ,50 strains were from Chinese Medicine Hospital of Rushan . 59 .9% strains was from sputum specimens .The most strains were from Respiratory department (39 .8% ) and ICU (25 .3% ) .All strains were resistant to aztreonam ,ampicillin and cefoxitin ,but sensitive to polymyxin B and tigecycline .50 strains could be divided into five types(A -E) .A typewas the predominant type ,including A1 ,A2 ,A3 three subtypes .Conclusion The resistance of Acine-tobacter baumannii was serious in the two hospitals in Rushan city .It mainly cause respiratory infections ,and could spread among different departments .The most strains were from Respiratory Department and ICU .
9.MRI findings of fetal cleft lip and palate

Objective To investigate the MR findings of fetal cleft lip (CL) and evaluate the advantages and limitations of MRI in the diagnosis. Methods Twelve pregnant women suspicious of fetal CL/cleft palate(CP) on ultrasonography were enrolled in the study. The findings of ultrasonography, MRI and following-up were compared. Results MRI and ultrasonography detected 12 fetuses with CL/CP. The following-up results showed 1 case with incomplete cleft lip and the other 11 cases with complete cleft lips and cleft palates. MRI and unltrasonography were consistent with the follow-up in CL detection, showing completed or uncompleted soft tissue interruption of the fetal lips with amniotic fluid filling which is high signal on T_2WI. On MRI, CP showed discontinuous of the soft tissue which were interrupted by long T_2 signal and communicating with oral cavity and nasal cavity. MRI missed 1 case and excluded 1 case of CP. Ultrasonography predicted 5 case of CL, excluded 1 CP but missed 6 cases. The accuracy, sensitivity and specificity in detection CL/CP was 91.7% (11/12), 90.9% (10/11), 100% (1/1) for MRI and 50.0% (6/12),45.5% (5/11), 100% (1/1) for ultrasonography, respectively. Conclusion MR imaging had advantage over ultrasonography in detecting CP, MRI is an essential when CP is suspicious on ultrasonography.
10.A multicenter prospective randomized open comparative study on the treatment of ovulatory menorrhagia with tranexamic acid and norethisterone in China

Objective To compare the efficacy and safety of tranexamic acid(TA)and norethisterone(NET)for the treatment of patients with ovulatory menorrhagia in China. Methods Onehundred and thirty one patients with proven ovulatory menorrhagia from gynecologic clinics of 5 teaching hospitals located in 4 different cities in China were enrolled during Jul 2004 to Dec 2006.Ameng them 128 completed the study.Patients were randomly divided into two therapeutic regimen groups:TA 1g thrice daily during menstrual cycle days(D)1-5,69 cases;or NET 5 mg twice daily on D19-26.59 cases.The drugs were administered for 2 consecutive cycles,then withdrawn and patients were followed-up for 1 more cycle.Data on menstrual blood loss [ estimated by pictorial blood assessment chart(PBAC)],length of menstrual periods,quality of life(QOL)evaluated by a 6 item health-related questionnaire were collectedbefore,during each cycle and were compared.Results Both treatments led to significant decreases of mean PBAC scores and shorter duration of menstrual periods,and improved the QOL ranking during the twotreatment cycles.The mean percentages of PBAC decrements in the TA first and second cycles were significantly greater than those in the NET corresponding cycles(35%VS 17%,P=0.004;4J4%VS 34%,P=0.04 respectively).The success rate of TA second cycle was higher than that of the NET second cycle (41%VS 24%,P=0.04).Improvement of QOL ranking in the TA first cycle was also significantly better than those in the NET first cycle ( P=0.03).The percentage of patients with at least 1 adverse event in TA group(19%)was significantly lower than that in NET group(35%,P=0.04).Patients'willingness tocontinue the treatment in the TA second and follow-up cycles(94%,79%respectively)were significantly higher than those in the corresponding cycles of NET groups(79%,59%respectively;P=0.01,P=0.02).Conclusion The regimen of TA 3 g daily during menstrual days 1-5 is a more effective and tolerable treatment than luteal phase norethisterone for patients with ovulatory menorrhagia.
