ObjectiveTo discuss clinical application value of contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS) technology in the diagnosis of liver and spleen trauma. MethodsRetrospective analysis 25 cases of liver and spleen trauma patients, the conventional ultrasonic CEUS complete material, analysis of the liver and spleen damage CEUS performance,and with surgery and computed tomography(CT) strengthen comparative analysis of the sensitivity of the conventional ultrasonic, CEUS, specific degree and the classification accuracy. ResultsAmong the surgery or CT confirmed 23 cases for liver and spleen rupture,the pure 8 cases liver, injury 13 cases of pure spleen rupture ,liver and spleen composite injury in 2 cases. And surgery or CT comparison, the sensitivity of the CEUS and specific degrees were 90.5％ and 66.7％ ,significantly higher than conventional ultrasound 59. 1％ and 33.3％ (P ＜0.05) ;CEUS classification was 91.3％ (21/23), significantly higher than the rules of ultrasound was 65.2％ ( 15/23 ), both differences were statistically significant( P ＜ 0.05). ConclusionCEUS diagnosis liver and spleen, due to the sensitivity of the damage degree high, and the classification accuracy was higher, the diagnosis to accurately evaluate the extent of the damage to the liver and spleen in liver and spleen, the loss of the diagnosis and treatment of clinical guidelines choice had important value of clinical application.

Objective　To observe the relationship among the degree of maturation of development of ovarian follicle and endometrial thickness and resistance index of uterine helicine arteries.Methods　Fifty six cases of normal menstrual cycle were studied by transvaginal color Doppler flow imaging.Results　Diameter of ovarian follicle increased and moved to the surface of ovary before ovulation,endometrium thickened and resistance index of uterine helicine arteries decreased.Conclusions　Observation of the development of ovarian follicle by transvaginal color Doppler flow imaging is helpful to improve regnancy rate.

OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to evaluate the outcomes of rehabilitation after cochlear implantation in children with malformed inner ear and compare them with a group of congenitally deaf children implantees with a normal inner ear.METHODS 21 children with inner ear malformation were retrospectively studied. The postoperative outcomes of these 21 cases were compared with that of 21 cases with normal inner ear structure. The assessment of all the children included the hearing levels, language ability , categories of auditory performance (CAP) and speech intelligibility rating (SIR) respectively before cochlear implantation, 6 months and 1 year after surgery. The data was analyzed using SPSS 17.0. RESULTS The results of rehabilitation in 9 children with Large Vestibular Aqueduct Syndrome and 6 cases with Mondini abnormality had no significant difference comparing with the control cases. The outcomes of 1case with severe Mondini abnormality and 5 cases with common cavity indicated significant worse than the control cases. CONCLUSION The effect of rehabilitation had no difference between the children with large vestibular aqueduct syndrome and the cases with normal inner structure after cochlear implantation, but was poorer in children with severe Mondini abnormality and common cavity. It was necessary to evaluate the degree of malformation of inner ear structure before cochlear implantation. The hearing abilities have improved quickly 6 months after cochlear implantation. The language abilities will need at least one year to get improved while the SIR need even more time. The development of language functions requires individualized rehabilitation guidance and integrated education.

ObjectiveTo study the correlations among age,sex,eye and mERG results.Methods60 normal eyes of 46 volunteers were divided into 6 groups at different ages.RETIscan 3.12 system of Rodenstock was used to carry out mERG examination.ResultsVariation of mERG parameters among normal eyes was significant.Age,sex and eyes have little influence on mERG results,except latency A was longer in male than in female.The size of pupil and fixation were found to influence the results directly.ConclusionsCare should be exercised in explaining the results.Disease history and other examinations shoud be taken into consideration.Attention should be given to the changes in wave-form and vision mountain in addition to amplitudes and latencies.

Objective　 To study the mechanism of delaying aging process under optimal stress . Methods　 Kunming mice swam at the 18℃ water temperature for 15min everyday based upon the model of aging mice induced by D-galactose .After six weeks continuously , the ability of memory and learning , the contents of SOD and MDA were measured, at the same time ,the mitochondria membranous fluidity ,MDA's contents in mitochondria and the activity of ATPase in hippocampus were also determined.Results　 In the aging mice, a significant reduction of learning and memory ability was observed, the contents of SOD decreased , but MDA contents increased markedly, we also found a obvious declining at the ATPase activity and the fluidity of mitochondria membrane . But the optimal swimming stress could effectually antagonize the above-mentioned changes . Conclusions　 The optimal swimming stress could delay the aging process by regulating the balance between the oxidant system and the antioxidant system.

Nanopore single molecule sequencing(SMS) is considered as one of the most promising third generation DNA sequencing method by virtue of fast sequencing and low cost. As the most significant part of the sequencing system, the synthetic solid nanopore has recently been the research highlight in the field of nanopore DNA sequencing because of its fine-controlled size, high reliability and wide applicability. Also, its fabrication method is currently one of the main challenges in this field. In this article, the principles of the nanopore SMS are introduced followed by the review of the difficulties and challenges in the current research stage with emphasis on the nanopore fabrication methods.

Objective To develop a method for determining cyanogen chloride (CNCl) in drinking water. Methods Pyridine-barbituric acid spectrophotometry was employed and some parameters including the pH value of the phosphate buffer, the time of color reaction, temperature, the concentration of chloramine T, the proportion of the phosphate buffer, the proportion of color agent and the maximum absorption wavelength were optimized. The linear range, limit of detection, precision and recovery rate were studied. Results Trace quantity of CNCl obeyed the Law of Beer. In the range of 0-0.1 ?g/ml CN-, the correlation coefficient was 0.999 4, the regression equation was y=0.194x-0.033, the limit of detection was 0.003 ?g/L, the lower limit of detection was 0.01 mg/L, the relative standard deviations were 1.5%-6.2% and the recovery rates were 92.9%-107.1%. Conclusion The method has the characters of accurate, sensitive, simple and rapid, it can be used in monitoring of drinking water quality.

Objective To evaluate the variability of four parameters of multi-focal electroretinogram (mERG) a-wave amplitude, b-wave amplitude, a-wave latent period, b-wave latent period. Methods Sixty normal eyes of 46 volunteers were divided into 3 groups of different ages. RETIscan 3 12 system was used to carry out mERG examination. The stimulus matrix of 61 hexagonal elements spanning the central 24?of the visual field. These hexons were scaled with eccentricity and divided into 5 rings. First-order kernel was selected. Results The variability of four parameters of mERG was great. The variability of b-wave latent period was the smallest, its coefficient of variatian was 4.52%～15.62%;that of a-wave latent period held the second place:10.29%~48.67%;that of b-wave amplitude was greater:25.92%~76.11%;that of a-wave amplitude was the greatest:43.82%~88.23%. The results of three groups showed that b-wave amplitude of ring 1 had the smallest variability. Conclusions The variability of latent period is smaller than that of amplitude; the variability of b-wave was smaller than that of a-wave. The longer the centrifugal distance, the lower the amplitude density of a-wave and b-wave. Physiological and anatomical factors might be important for the variability of parameters of multi-focal electroretinogram.

Objective To investigate the effects of artesunate (Art) on cell proliferation and apoptosis of human Tenon's capsule fibroblasts (HTFs),and discuss the countermeasures of bleb scarfing in glaucoma.Methods In vitro,HTFs were cultivated and applicated by different concentrations (50 μg · mL-1,100 μg · mL-1,150 μg ·mL-1,200 μg · mL-1) of Art for 48 hours.The effect of Art on cell proliferation was assessed by MTT method.The rate of apoptosis induced by Art was determined by flow cytometry.Western Blot was performed to detect the relative expression levels of Bax and Bcl-2 after Art was treated.Results After treated with Art for 48 hours,compared with blank control group,Art (50 μg · mL-1,100 μg · mL-1,150 μg · mL-1,200 μg · mL-1) group exhibited notable anti-proliferative effect on HTFs with concentration-dependence (all P ＜ 0.05).The results of flow cytometry showed that the apoptosis rates (8.80％ ±0.88％,11.60％ ±0.56％,16.30％ ±1.03％,23.40％ ±1.62％) of HTFs were significantly enhanced with the increase of Art concentration (all P ＜ 0.05).The relative expression levels of Bax were obviously high with the increase of Art concentration,while Bcl-2 levels were significantly low with the increase of Art concentration (all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Art can inhibit the proliferation and induce cell apoptosis of HTFs possibly by enhancing the expression of Bax and reducing the expression of Bcl2.Art may be a potential drug in preventing fibrous scar formation after glaucoma filtration surgery.

Objective The aim of this study was to evaluate the outcomes of auditory perception skills after cochlear implantation in children with malformed inner ear and compare them with a group of congenitally deaf chil ‐dren implantees with a normal inner ear .Methods 21 children with inner ear malformation were retrospective stud‐ied .There were 9 cases with large vestibular aqueduct syndrome (LVAS) ,7 with Mondini abnormality ,5 with com‐mon cavity .The postoperative outcomes of these 21 cases were compared with 21 cases with normal inner ear struc‐ture .The outcomes of all the children after the surgery in 1 year were studied using the soundfield test in frequency ranging 0 .5 to 4 kHz and the auditory perception skills ,and the auditory perception skills consisted of natural envi‐ronmental sound recognition ,consonants recognition ,vowels recognition ,numeral recognition ,tone recognition , monosyllabe recognition ,disyllabe recognition ,trisyllabe recognition ,short sentences recognition ,selective hearing recognition .Results The results of soundfield test and auditory perception skills after cochlear implantation in 9 children with LVAS and 6 with Mondini abnormality had no significant difference (P > 0 .05) comparing with the control cases .Postoperative thresholds in soundfield test were 50 ~ 75 dB HL for 1 case with severe Mondini abnor‐mality ,the mean value of hearing ability score was 70 .5% ,and less than the results of control cases .Postoperative mean thresholds in soundfield test were 65 .26 ± 5 .13 dB HL for 5 cases with common cavity ,the hearing ability score was less than the results of control cases (P< 0 .05) .Conclusion The effect of rehabilitation had no difference between the children with LVAS and the cases with normal inner structure after cochlear implantation ,but was poo‐rer in children with severe Mondini abnormality and common cavity .It was necessary to evaluate the degree of mal‐formation of inner ear structure before cochlear implantation .
