1.HETEROGENEITY OF SERUM HUMAN GROWTH HORMONE IN ACROMEGALY BEFORE AND AFTER TREATMENT
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 1985;0(01):-
The heterogeneity of serum human growth hormone (hGH) in 6 normal subjects and 17 acromegalic patients before and after treatment has been studied. The results showed that "little hGH" was 34.4?10.2% and 69.8 ?13.9% of total hGH in normal subjects and in acro-megalies respectively, and that the percentage of little hGH in acromegalies increased significantly (p

3.Could Ex-PRESS miniature implantation replace the trabeculectomy in China?
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2015;33(3):193-195
Ex-PRESS miniature implantation is a new alternative of anti-glaucoma surgeries due to its advantages, such as simpler operation, similar efficacy to trabeculectomy and less complications.Could Ex-PRESS miniature implantation replace the trabeculectomy? Studies showed that Ex-PRESS implantation has more significant advantages to those patients with high risk for trabeculectomy but dose not has dominant benefits to those prone to failure of trabeculectomy from bleb scarring. The Ex-PRESS implantation requires a relative wide angle so as to have enough space to avoid the device accessing to corneal endothelium, iris or lens.So it is unsuitable for angle-closure glaucoma with higher incidence in China. In addition, the cost-effect for Ex-PRESS implantation should also be fully considered when this method could be put into practice in the near future in China.Ex-PRESS implantation seems to be unable to displace trabeculectomy. The merits and demerits for Chinese patients still need to verify by Chinese own evidence-based studies.
4.Safety and clinical application of induced pluripotent stem cells
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2013;(27):5087-5093
BACKGROUND: Induced pluripotent stem cells are obtained from somatic cells by reprogramming method. The safety of induced pluripotent stem cells has attracted much attention because of their huge and potential value in clinical application. OBJECTIVE: To review the current studies addressing the safety and clinical application of induced pluripotent stem cells. METHODS: The PubMed database between 2006 and 2012 was retrieved by the first author to search the correlative documents concerning the safety and clinical application of induced pluripotent stem cells. Total y 203 papers were primarily gotten. Final y, 47 papers were included. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: At present, the main methods to enhance the safety of induced pluripotent stem cells include avoiding usage of c-Myc gene, another mediate way replacing the retrovirus, direct leading of reprogramming factor protein, safer donor cells, micromolecule compound and other in-transgenosis ways. Induced pluripotent stem cells have extensive clinic treatment prospects, and can be used for the build of disease-specific induced pluripotent stem cells line.
5.Observation of development of ovarian follicle and blood flow in endometrium by transvaginal color Doppler flow imaging
Chinese Journal of Ultrasonography 2001;10(2):92-94
Objective To observe the relationship among the degree of maturation of development of ovarian follicle and endometrial thickness and resistance index of uterine helicine arteries. Methods Fifty six cases of normal menstrual cycle were studied by transvaginal color Doppler flow imaging. Results Diameter of ovarian follicle increased and moved to the surface of ovary before ovulation, endometrium thickened and resistance index of uterine helicine arteries decreased. Conclusions Observation of the development of ovarian follicle by transvaginal color Doppler flow imaging is helpful to improve regnancy rate.

Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases 2013;(3):237-239
Optical coherence tomography (OCT) can depict mild papilledema and slight changes in the internal segment and external segment; measure thickness of the retinal nerve fiber layer, retinal thickness and macular volume; detect missing axons and damage to the macular ganglion cell complex. Thus,OCT has important application values and widespread prospects in diagnosis and differential diagnosis of glaucoma and non-glaucoma optic neuropathy, optic nerve diseases and macular diseases, outer and inner retinopathy as well as evaluation of curative effects,follow-up observation, prognosis and mechanisms in neuroophthalmological diseases.Neuro-ophthalmologists should pay more attention to the exploration and application of OCT in the field of neuro-ophthalmology.

Cell transplantation has great potentials in repairing damaged tissue. If we want to use the cell transplants to treat diseases that respond poorly to the conventional treatment,or provide better treatments,in vivo dynamic tracking is particularly important. The application of superparamagnetic iron oxide (SPIO) improves a common inconvenience of the current invasive tests including immunohistochemical study or transmission electron microscopy (TEM) study and so on.Researchers has established a variety of preparation methods of the particles, groped the optimal condition of cell marking.SPIO were proved to be feasible and superior in cell tracking in vivo through animal experiments. The results provide the reliable means of using SPIO to track cell in clinical treatments. This review gives a summary of the related study.

Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2008;7(8):558-559
Two hundred and thirty two patients with essential hypertension were divided into intervention and control groups (116 in each) ,by the end of study period (from January 2005 to January 2006) 106 patients in intervention group (91.4%) and 102 in control group (87.9%) completed observation. The main findings were as follows: the blood pressure control rate in intervention group was higher than that in controls (X2=23.92,P <0.01) ;the family adaptability(X2 =31.12,P <0.01),family caring(X2=37.90 ,P<0.01),family communication (X2= 17.91,P<0.01) and family function(X2 = 8.26,P<0.01)in intervention group were better improved than those in control group. The results suggest that family can be effective resources for improvement of patients with essential hypertension.

Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(03):-
Objective To investigate the protective effect of Smilax Glabra Roxb on the expression of vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1) induced by IL-1 in human vascular endothelial cells (HUVECs). Methods Take human umbilical vascular endothelial cells as study subject, use immunofluorescence staining, serum pharmacology of the traditional Chinese medicine and flow cytometer. The level of VCAM-1 is represented by the mean fluorescence intensity. Results IL-1 increases the expression of VCAM-1, the expression of VCAM-1 in group of serum containing drugs is lower than control group. Conclusion Smilax Glabra Roxb can inhibit the effect of IL-1 induced increase of VCAM-1 expression in HUVECs.

Chinese Journal of Perinatal Medicine 1998;0(02):-
Objective To study the safety, efficiency and feasibility of increase the aminotic fluid volume by transabdominal amnioinfusion(AI). Methods Thirty-three patients were selected according to the following criteria: oligohydramnios or borderline oligohydramnios found by B ultrasound ,indications of vaginal delivery and with cephalic presentation, and who is ready to receive AI. After located by puncture bougie,at most 380 ml saline solution at 37℃ were infused into the amniotic cavity. Results AI was accomplished in 32 of 33 cases (96.97%). Premature rupture of membrane occurred in one case (3 03%). No placental abruption and infection or other complications happened. Twety-five patients (75.76%)successed in vaginal delivery. Cesarean sections were performed in 8 cases (24 24%) because of encephalopelvic disproportion, cord prolapse and fetal distress. No neonatal asphyxia happened. Conclusion Amnioinfusion can effectively increase amniotic fluid volume, create favorable conditions of vaginal delivevy for oligohydramnios and decrease the incidence of cesarean section as well as improve perinatal outcome.
