Incidence of thrombotic disease is very high, and this disease can result in high mortality and high disability rate. Prevention and treatment of the disease mainly include:antiplatelet, anticoagulation and thrombolysis. Choice of anti?thrombotic treatment based emphasizes on individuation. As a direct inhibitor of factor Xa, Rivaroxaban exert its anticoagu?lant activity without antithrombinⅢbut is ineffective to theⅩa in prothrombin complex, which can be used as a substitute of traditional anticoagulant. In this paper, applications of Rivaroxaban on treating symptomatic venous thromboembolic dis?ease, postoperative venous thrombosis and cardiovascular thrombosis are reviewed.

OBJECTIVE:To compare the therapeutic effects of taurine and catalin eye drops.METHODS:All the mice were divided into the normal control group,the cataract control group,the taurine group and the catalin eye drops group.Except the normal control group,the rest ones were used to establish the galactose cataract models and then received eyedrop administration everyday.The contents of taurine,glycin and glutamic acid in crystalline lens were measured by high perfor?mance liquid chromatography.RESULTS:The contents of amino-acids were not found lower in the taurine group as com?pared with the catalin eye drops group.CONCLUSION:Taurine shows the preventive and therapeutic effects on the experi?mental cataract,which can be comparable to that of catalin eye drops or even more advantageous.

Objective To evaluate intra-arterial catheter directed thrombolysis in combination with artery angioplasty for chronic long superficial femoral artery occlusion.Methods Clinical data were reviewed on patients of chronic long superficial femoral artery occlusion treated by endovascular therapy from September 2010 to September 2012.In 19 patients,catheter-directed thrombolysis was initially carried out,which was followed by endovascular angioplasty balloon dilatation or stent placement.The other 37 patients were treated by upfront endovascular angioplasty balloon dilatation or stent placement.Results In the thrombolysis group,the occluded length of the artery before and after thrombolysis was (16 ± 5) mm and (10 ± 6) mm(t =3.598,P ＜ 0.05).The length and the number of stents used in thrombolysis group was lower than stent group [(10±5) cm、(1.6±0.8) vs.(12±4) cm、(2.1 ±0.7),t=2.102,P＜0.05].There were no significant difference in primary patency rate assisted,primary patency rate and secondary patency rate between thrombolysis group and stent group.Conclusions For patients of chronic long superficial femoral artery occlusion,a successful catheter directed thrombolysis with artery angioplasty reduces the number of stents for angioplasty.

Objective To investigate the relationship between lipocalintype prostaglandin dsynthase(L-PGDS) and visfatin in the lower extremity atherosclerotic plaque. Methods Collected from February 2014 to February 2016 in vascular surgery of our hospital 40 cases of femoral artery atherosclerotic plaque intima specimens (observation group), 20 cases of splenic artery, superior mesenteric artery samples (control group), the expression of visfatin and L-PGDS protein were detected by immunohistochemical staining, and the expression of visfatin and L-PGDS mRNA were determined by RT-PCR. Results The observation group visfatin protein expression was (121.42±11.07), significantly higher than the control group (72.07±12.81), and L-PGDS protein expression was (87.93±9.73), significantly lower than the control group (107.04±10.58), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The relative expression of visfatin mRNA in the observation group was (0.321±0.024), which was significant higher than that of the control group (0.217±0.031), while L-PGDS mRNA was (0.203±0.018), significantly lower than the control group (0.314±0.029), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); The expression of L-PGDS protein was negatively correlated with the expression of visfatin protein in the plaque tissue (r=-0.617, P<0.05), visfatin mRNA and L-PGDS mRNA were negatively correlated (r=-0.645, P< 0.05). Conclusion Visfatin and L-PGDS in lower extremity atherosclerosis occurrence and development have an important relationship, both of them may play an antagonistic role.

Objective To investigate the effects of sodium aescinate(SA)on oxidative stress and pulmonary function during acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods One hundred and twenty patients with COPD were randomly divided into two groups:the control group(n =60) and the treatment group(n =60).All patients were treated with routine anti-infection,oxygen inhalation,relieving phlegm and anti-asthma The treatment group took SA in addition to the routine beteropathy.The changes of serum SOD,MDA,GSH-Px,T-AOC,pulmonary functions and 6 minute walk distance(6MWD) were detected before and after two-week treatment in patients of the two groups to compare with 60 healthy subjects.Results The total effective rate in the treatment group was 91.67％,while 76.67％ in the control group.The difference was statistically significant(x2 =5.065,P ＜0.05).Serum MDA level in both groups were comparatively higher than the healthy controls(9.25±1.55) μmol/L vs.(9.74±1.50) μmol/L vs.(2.06±0.29) μmol/L,P ＜0.001),while the levels of SOD,GSH-Px and T-AOC were lower than the healthy controls[SOD:(91.14±9.54) kU/L vs.(90.61±8.01) kU/L vs.(116.63±6.57) kU/L; GSH-Px:(139.38±36.56) U vs.(137.57±34.19) U/L vs.(189.34±35.54) U/L; T-AOC:(6.48±1.15) kU/L vs.(6.39±1.13) kU/L vs.(13.34±1.23)kU/L;P < 0.001].After treatment,all indexes of the two groups were obviously ameliorated in comparison with before treatment(P ＜ 0.001),but the level of MDA[(4.56±1.39) μmol/L]in the treatment group decreased more greatly than in the control groups(P ＜ 0.001).The levels of SOD[(103.85±7.07) kU/L],GSH-Px[(169.65±34.51) U/L],T-AOC[(10.52±1.09) KU/L],forced expiratory volume in 1 second/forced vital capacity(FEV1/FVC)[(60.49±6.11)％],FEVI％[(76.62±6.35)％]and 6MWD [(394.83±10.11)m]increased considerably more than those in the control group(P ＜ 0.001).Conclusion Oxidative stress might be involved in the course of acute exacerbation of COPD.Sodium aeseinate can improve the pulmonary functions by ameliorating the oxidative stress during acute exacerbation in patients with COPD.

Objective To investigate the effect of acupuncture decompression operation on the quality of life of patients with mild to moderate essential hypertension. Methods 74 cases of mild to moderate essential hypertension were divided into experimental group and control group by random number table, 4 cases were lost. Finally, a total of 70 patients were included in the data analysis. In the control group, 35 cases were given routine drug taking and health guidance, the experimental group of 35 patients increase the treatment of acupuncture decompression operation points on this basis. The two groups of patients were measured with blood pressure before and after intervention, and World Health Organization Quality of Life (WHOQOL-BREF) was used to evaluate the quality of life, and the data were analyzed. Results The scores of physiological and psychological fields in the experimental group were (15.23 ± 2.66) points and (16.68 ± 2.23) points while the control group were (13.98 ± 2.18) points, (15.25 ± 2.52) points, the difference was statistically significant (t=2.305, 2.522, P<0.05). The experimental group of social relations, environmental score were respectively (1.37 ± 2.24) points, (14.16 ± 1.24) points, while the control group were (13.29 ± 2.30) points, (13.56 ± 1.36) points, 2 groups were not statistically significant (t=0.770, 3.063, P > 0.05). The experimental group systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure were (121.43 ± 6.43) mmHg (1 mmHg=0.133 kPa), (71.74 ± 3.88) mmHg, compared with the control group were (128.34±5.72) mmHg, (76.06±4.43) mmHg. The difference was statistically significant (t=-4.753,-4.210, P<0.05). Conclusions acupuncture decompression operation can improve blood pressure in young and middle-aged patients with hypertension, improve the quality of life.

Scanning electron microscopic observations were made on the morphological structures of the two copulatory spicules of the male Necator americanus and Ancylostoma duodenale. In both species,one of the two copulatory spicules was in the shape of a concave groove and the other, in the shape of an oblate tube. Owing to the difference in the concavity of the groove shaped copulatory spicule between the two species as shown by the cross sections, Necator americanus usually appear to have only one copulatory spicule whereas Ancylostoma duodenale usually show two separate copulatory spicules in appearance (Figs 1 -10).

Objectives:To establish animal model of anterior proliferative vitreoretinopathy (aPVR) with cultured homologous dermal fibroblasts of rabbit, and to provide evidence why hypotony was caused by aPVR. Methods:Animal models of aPVR were established with cultured homologous dermal fibroblasts on pigmented rabbits. Rabbits were sacrificed on the 14th, 28th and 56th day after the operation to prepare naked eyes and to receive histological examinations. Results:Naked eye examination showed that the peripheral retina was detached by dragging in the experimental group 28 and 56 days postoperatively. Microscopic examination showed atrophy or absence of the non-pigmented ciliary epithelium on the 28th and 56th postoperative day in the experimental group. Conclusions:The epiciliary membrane in aPVR dragged the ciliary body, made atrophy of non-pigmented epithelium, which perhaps was the main cause of hypotony.
