Objective:To observe vox acoustics features of patients of lung Qi deficiency, understand the influence of different extents of lung Qi deficiency on phonation, and expound the relationship between lung Qi state and phonation. Methods:Apply computer vox analysis system to test the vox sustainable vowel signal(i) of 65 cases of lung Qi deficiency and 20 cases of healthy persons respectively, observe and analyse their acoustics parameters(basic frequency, micro bother of frequency, slight bother of swing and standard yawp energy) of natural sound lowest bourdon and comfort sound and natural sound most alt. Results:For lung Qi deficiency patients, the basic frequency of 3 different phonations is lower than healthy persons, whose lowering trend increases with degrees of lung Qi deficiency, among which, under lowest bourdon of natural sound, there's marked difference of basic frequency between middle and severe lung Qi deficiency and healthy adults(P

AIM: To investigate the anti-metastasis effect of weimaining, extracted from fragopyrum cymosum meissn, a Chinese medicine, on murine Lewis lung carcinoma (3LL). METHODS: The anti-metastasis effect of weimaining in vivo was detected in the grafting lung metastasis model of murine Lewis lung carcinoma. The effects of the drug on the expression of CD34 and E-cadherin were investigated by immunohistochemical staining and RT-PCR. RESULTS: Weimaining effectively inhibited the lung metastasis of 3LL at a concentration of 250 mg?kg -1?d -1, significantly suppressed the expression of CD34 and increased the expression levels of E-cadherin protein and mRNA in 3LL cells. CONCLUSIONS: Weimaining inhibits the metastasis of murine Lewis lung carcinoma (3LL) in vivo via increasing the expression of E-cadherin and decreasing microvessel density of tumor tissue.

AIM: To investigate the effects of Astragalus polysacharin(APS) on human fibroblast and human umbilical vein endothelia cell (HUVEC) proliferation, as well as its acts on adhesion between white cells and HUVECs. METHODS: Human fibroblasts from distal and proximal skin away the ulcer were cultured as normal fibroblasts(NF) and wounded fibroblasts(WF). MTT assay was used for detecting cell proliferation, Rose Bengal staining and fluorescence immunohistology assay were used for examining the adhesion of human polymorpho-nuclear cell(PMN) and TPH-1 to HUVECs. RESULTS: 2 44-156 mg/L APS promoted WF proliferation, and 2 44-39 mg/L APS also promoted NF proliferation, but it did not show any proliferating effect on HUVECs. APS inhibited the adhesion of PMN or TPH-1 to HUVECs induced by tumor necrosis factor(TNF). At 25-100 mg/L, it also inhibited both VCAM-1 and ICAM-1 expression in HUVECs induced by TNF. Treatment with APS for 12 h also inhibited CD44 expression in HUVECs. CONCLUSION: APS shows mitogenic activity on both human normal and wounded fibroblasts. It also exerts anti-inflammation effects by inhibiting adhesion molecule expression and adhesion of white cells to HUVECs. [

ObjectiveTo investigate the mechanism and the protective effect of heat shock protein 27 (HSP27) on rat cardiomyocytes when ischemic preconditioning performed.MethodsCultured rat cardiomyocytes were divided into four groups: control group, ischemic group, ischemic preconditioning group and cyclohexamide group. Cell viabilities were analyzed by MTT. The apoptosis was evaluated with DNA ladder and flow cytometry Annexin V Flous staining. Western Blot was used to determine the expression of HSP27 and caspase-3 in cardiomyocytes.ResultsIschemic preconditioning could improve cell viability. The apoptosis ratio in ischemic preconditioning group was significantly less than that in ischemic group. These were accompanied by an increase in the expression of HSP27 and a decrease in caspase-3. The expression of the increased HSP27 and the protective effect induced by ischemic preconditioning were completely abolished by the presence of cycloheximide, a translation inhibitor.ConclusionThe expression of HSP27 induced by ischemic preconditioning plays an important role in protecting cardiomyocytes, and the mechanism is possibly related to the inhibition of cell apoptosis.

OBJECTIVE:To explore the management mode of key monitored drugs in hospital and to improve their rational use. METHODS:The pharmaceutical administration mode of key monitored drugs in our hospital was interpreted in respects of nontrol plan, control measures and control effect(using types and ranking of key monitored drugs among top 10 drugs in the list of consumption sum, ratio of consumption sum of key monitored drugs in total consumption sum, consumption sum per capita of key monitored drugs in the inpatients as indexes). RESULTS:Our hospital confirmed and implemented control plans as control target and control index by formulating key monitored drug list. Key monitored drug control was included in performance assessment management, procurement source management, supernormal early warning management, etc. The key monitored drug control was implemented from May 2016,up to May 2017,key monitored drugs ranked and decreased in number from the top 10 drugs in the list of consumption sum. The ratio of consumption sum of key monitored drugs in total consumption sum and consumption sum per capita of key monitored drugs in the inpatients decreased from 34.33% and 2 318.98 yuan before control(Jan. 2016-Apr. 2016)to 21.72% and 1 209.31 yuan in May 2017(decreasing by 36.73%,47.85%). CONCLUSIONS:Key monitored drug control obtains significant achievement in our hospital, can effectively promotes rational use of key monitored drug, saves medical insurance costs and reduces the economic burden of patients.

Chinese Journal of Biotechnology 2012;28(9):1070-1079
Some degradation products from lignocellulose pretreatment strongly inhibit the activities of cellulolytic enzymes and ethanol fermentation strains, thus the efficient removal of the inhibitor substances ("detoxification") is the inevitable step for the biotransformation processes. In this study, the biological detoxification of furfural by a newly isolated fungus, Amorphotheca resinae ZN1, was studied and the metabolic pathways of furfural degradation was analyzed. The metabolic pathway of furfural degradation in A. resinae ZN1 was described as follows: first, furfural was quickly converted into the low toxic furfuryl alcohol; then the furfuryl alcohol was gradually converted into furfural again but under the low concentration under aerobic condition, which was not lethal to the growth of the fungi; furfural continued to be oxidized to furoic acid by A. resinae ZN1. It is likely that furoic acid was further degraded in the TCA cycle to complete the biological degradation of furfural. The present study provided the important experimental basis for speeding up the biodetoxification of furfural by A. resinae ZN1 and the rate-limiting step in the lignocellulose biotransformation to ethanol.

Chinese Journal of Hematology 2002;23(7):356-359
OBJECTIVETo study the change of WT1 gene expression during human leukemic K562 cell differentiation and apoptosis induced by bufalin.
METHODSCell viability was determined by trypan blue exclusion, cell differentiation and apoptosis by nitro blue tetrazolium (NBT) reduction test, morphology and flow cytometry, expression of WT1 protein by Western blot analysis, and expression of WT1 mRNA by reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).
RESULTS(1) The cell proliferation was inhibited by bufalin and the IC(50) at 24, 48, 72 h were 0.026, 0.032 and 0.006 micro mol/L, respectively. (2) Bufalin induced K562 cell differentiation towards macrophage/monocyte within concentration from 0.01 to 0.05 micro mol/L and apoptosis at higher than 0.026 micro mol/L. (3) The expression of WT1 protein and mRNA were downregulated by bufalin in the initial stage of differentiation and apoptosis induced by bufalin.
CONCLUSIONK562 cell differentiation and apoptosis induced by bufalin might relate to the downregulation of WT1 expression.
