Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2015;(11):1135-1138
This article consults the literature on acupuncture-moxibustion treatment for the non-spastic stage of cerebral stroke published from 2001 to 2014, makes a summary and analysis from meridians, point selection, acupuncture reinforcing-reducing techniques and electoacupuncture application and points out some problems such as valuing acupuncture and neglecting moxibustion, valuing acupuncture and neglecting medicine, and neglecting point selection based on syndrome differentiation in acupuncture-moxibustion treatment for the non-spastic stage of cerebral stroke. The article also objectively assesses the position of acupuncture-moxibustion treatment, puts forward relevant solving ideas and emphasizes the importance of acupuncture manipulation and the necessity for combining Chinese herbal medicine to treat the non-spastic stage of cerebral stroke.
2.Establishing animal model of passive transferred myasthenia gravis in C57BL/6 mice aged 4 to 5 weeks by acetylcholine receptor monoclonal antibody
Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(13):-
Objective To establish an animal model of passive transferred myasthenia gravis(PTMG) in C57BL/6 mice aged 4 to 5 weeks with nicotinic acetylcholine receptor monoclonal antibody-mAb35 so as to decide the effective dose of mAb35 required to induce PTMG and to supply animal model for further study of the pathogenesis and immunotherapy of human MG.Methods The C57BL/6 mice aged 4 to 5 weeks in the experimental group were divided into three subgroups(E1,E2,E3),injected intraperitoneally(i.p.) with 0.2 ml of Ringer's buffer solution containing 0.5,1.0 or 1.5 mg/kg capital monoclonal antibody mAb35 of acetylcholine receptor respectively. The control group(N) were injected i.p.with 0.2 ml of Ringer's buffer solution without mAb35.To decide whether the model was successful, the clinical symptoms, ultrastructural changes of the mice as well as pharmacological and electrophysiological evaluation were observed and the serum levels of acetylcholine receptor antibody(AChRAb) were detected. Results All mice in the experimental groups were induced of clinic symptoms of myasthenia. The features in pharmacology, electrophysiology, ultrastructure and increased level of acetylcholine receptor antibody were in accordance with those of MG patients. Conclusion The model of PTMG can be successfully induced in C57BL/6 mice with mAb35 at effective dose of 1.0 mg/kg.The method is convenient and reliable.A fine animal model is established for experimental study of myasthenia gravis in children.

BACKGROUND: MyoD gene is one of family members of muscle transcription factors. Transfection MyoD gene can switch on the procedure of differentiation of muscles, and transit non-muscle cells into muscle cells. The MyoD gene only expresses in skeletal muscles. Based on the same contractive structure in myocardial cells and skeletal muscle cells, it is imagined that the conversion from exogenous MyoD gene-induced fibroblast in local myocardium into skeletal muscle cells that had contractive function may become another method in the treatment of congestive heart failure on clinic.OBJECTIVE: To construct and identify a recombinant adenoviral vector carrying MyoD gene for further studies on the recovery function of MyoD gene in myocardial injury.DESIGN: Single sample experiment.SETTING: Department of Cardiology, First Affiliated Hospital, Nanjing Medical University.MATERIALS: The experiment was conducted at the Laboratory of Microbiology and Immunology, Nanjing Medical University between September 2004 and September 2005. MyoD gene and non-replicating form expressive vector of adenovirus were taken as research materials.METHODS: MyoD cDNA fragments were extracted from plasmids pEMSV-MyoD with polymerase chain reaction (PCR), and PCR was used to clone the whole-length gene of MyoD. After adding CACC sequence at 5' end, MyoD gene was cloned by orient topology into transfer ventor, pENTR/D-TOPO. Objective gene was transferred into adenoviral expression vector DNA via pENTR/D-TOPO vector. The recombinant adenoviral vectors transfected into HEK293A cells by using lipofectamine were packaged and amplified.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Evaluation of PCR and DNA sequencing were used for confirming the size of segment and correctness of rank of MyoD cDNA and detecting the titre of virus.RESULTS: MyoD recombinant adenovirus contained target segment with precise length confirmed by PCR and DNA sequence that was correct. The titre of virus was 1.3×1011 pfu/mL.CONCLUSION: The recombinant adenoviral vector carrying MyoD gene is constructed successfully.

Objective To analyze the incidence factors between accompanies and mwses in pediatric transfusion clinic, and find out the countermeasures. Methods 75 conflicts occurred between August 2004 to August 2008 were analyzed and made a contrast. Results The elements for the conflict were as follows: nurses, accompanies and patients. Conclusions The nurses should improve the emergency cop-ing abilities, communication skills, technical skills, supporting psychological nursing for the patients and the accompanies. All these are effective measures to avoid conflicts.
