Objective To study the value of echoeardiography for diagnosis of juxtaposition of atrial appendage(JAA) and to discuss its features. Methods Eehocardiographic characteristics of JAA in nine cases were compared with results of cardiac catheterization and operation. The diagnostic features of echocardiography were summarized. Results Seven cases had juxtaposition of left atrial appendage and two had juxtaposition of right atrial appendage. The nine cases were all associated with severe congenital heart disease and the most frequent malformations observed with JAA were double outlet right ventricle, transposition of great artery, single ventricle and so on. Direct visualization of the JAA in the parasternal short-axis view at the base of the heart and visualization of an unusual transverse orientation of the atrial septum were the most features of JAA. Echocardiographie characteristics of JAA cases were correspondent to the results of cardiac catheterization and operation. Conclusions There is high accuracy by echocardiography to diagnosis JAA. JAA should be alerted in severe congenital heart disease.

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) were isolated from the bone marrow of rabbits and inoculated respectively on 3D scaffolds of poly (3-Hydroxybutyrate-co-3-Hydroxyvalerate) (PHBV), poly (butylenes succinate) (PBS) and the blends for evaluation of their cytocompatibilities in vitro. It was found that the blends of less microporous possessed the best performance on attachment and proliferation of MSCs in the six configurations. The toluiding blue staining showed the best morphology of mensenchymal stem cells (MSCs) on the blends of less microporous blends. The scanning electronic microscopy (SEM) results showed that the blends of less microporous blends had the appropriate roughness for MSCs to attach and proliferate, which can be used as a suitable biomaterial to create small caliber vascular grafts.

Objective To study the diagnosis accuracy and features of echocardiography on aortic coarctation combined with hypoplastic aortic arch. Methods The echocardiographic characteristics of seven patients who were diagnosed as aortic coarctation combined with hypoplastic aortic arch were analyzed and compared with results of cardiac catheterization, CT scan and operation. The diagnostic features of echocardiography were summarized. Results Besides the echocardiographic characteristics of aortic coarctation, other specific echocardiographic characteristics of hypoplastic aortic arch were:distinct stenoses of transverse and decsending part of aortic arch were visualized in supra-sternal long-axis view; the range of hypoplastic part started from innominate artery beginning or left common carotid artery beginning; the ratio of diameter of hypoplastic aortic arch over that of descending aorta at diaphragm was less than 0. 5; the blood flow speed detected by Doppler at the site of aortic coarctation was in the normal range. The echocardiographic characteristics of the aortic coarctation combined with hypoplastic aortic arch were correspondent to the results of cardiac catheterization, CT scan and operation results. Conclusions There is high accuracy of echocardiography in diagnosis of aortic coarctation combined with hypoplastic aortic arch. Hypoplastic aortic arch should be paid more attention in diagnosis of aortic coarctation.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the biological characteristic of ectomesenchymal stem cells (EMSC) and the differentiation of p75(+)EMSC and influencing factors.
METHODSThe immunohistochemical staining method was used to observe the migration of EMSC from 12.5 d SD rat embryonic facial process. Then EMSC was labeled by p75 neurotrophin receptor, and the cell cycle and stem cell surface antigens of the p75(+) EMSC was examined.
RESULTSImmunohistochemical staining showed that stem cells from the cranial neural crest migrated to embryonic rat facial process at 12.5 days. The sorting rate of the p75(+)EMSC was 6.1%. The proportion of the p75(+)EMSCs' S/G2/M phase was stable during subculture. The special substances CD29, CD146 and Stro-1 were marked for p75(+)EMSC, and the expressions of the markers were all higher (> 90%) in p75(+) EMSC.
CONCLUSIONSThe embryonic tooth did not start to grow on the conception 12.5 days of SD rats. The p75(+) EMSC after sorting had stable proliferation ability and had stem cell characteristics during subculture and didn't start differentiation.

Objective To explore the influences of continued nursing care on the recovery of intra-articular fractures of joint function of limbs and the quality of life after operation. Methods A total of 493 intra-articular fracture of limbs postoperative patients, who were discharged from our department from January 2015 to December 2016,were randomly divided into observation group and reference group. After operation, the reference group used self-management mode to practice joint functional exercise, while the observation group uses continued nursing mode to guide physical therapy to recover joint functions. After they discharged 12 weeks,we compared these two groups of patients with satisfaction of nursing care, joint function recovery and quality of life. Results After 12 weeks of operation, in observation group, the patients' joint function recovery rate was close to 79.27%(195/246), which was significantly higher than the rates 55.47%(137/247)in reference group, the difference was statistically significant(χ2=32.947,P<0.01). Respectively, the physiological function score, vigor score, mental health score, physiology role score, body pain score, health condition score, social function score and health score of the observation group in the quality of life assessment were (72.66 ± 4.41), (89.27 ± 4.10), (93.01 ± 3.05), (88.03 ± 3.19), (91.68±3.99),(76.78±4.86),(79.11±4.68),(85.57±7.07).The scores of control groups were(65.71±3.41),(64.02±4.51),(61.43±4.29),(66.49±4.52),(64.24±4.30),(62.02±6.24),(62.94±4.50),(65.02±7.72).The comparative difference of the two groups has statistical significance (t=12.48- 60.15, P<0.05). Meanwhile,in the satisfaction rate of nursing care, the great satisfaction rate of observation group(70.73%, 174/246) was much higher than reference group (37.65%, 93/247), the difference was statistically significant (χ2=59.789, P<0.01). Conclusion Offered outside continued nursing care to the intra-articular fracture of limbs postoperative patients can effectively improve the joint function of patients, their qualities of life and can considerably increase satisfaction of nursing care. Thus,it should to be clinically promoted.
