Objective To evaluate CTU in the diagnosis of renal duplication in children. Methods 18 children suspected of renal duplication were imaged by CTU.Of the 18 cases,11 have underwent IVU and 4 MRU. Results 18 cases of renal duplication were diagnosed by CTU,confirmed by operation.3 of 11 were detected on IVU,and 1 of 4 on MRU.The diagnosis rate of CTU in renal duplication has been 100%,higher than IVU and MRU. Conclusions CTU is a reliable and optimal technique for the diagnosis of renal duplication.

Objective To detect early diagnosis significance of cardiopulmonary exercise test in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis(IPF).Methods 32 cases of IPF were individed into 2 groups,early-stage group (19cases) and non-early-stage group (13cases).All IPF patients and 22 healthy persons as control were performed cardiopulmonary exercise test.Results All indexes of cardiopulmonary exercise test were significantly different between the early-stage group and the control group,the non-early-stage group and the control group,the non-early-stage group and the early-stage group.Conclusion Cardiopulmonary exercise test markedly raises value early diagnosis in IPF.

Cerebral injury is a common disease in the pediatric intensine care unit(PICU)and the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).Video-electroencephalogram examination can help for the etidogical diagnosis,illness monitoring and prognosis assessment.The article is a review about the applications of video-electroencephalogram in common diseases in NICU and PICU.

Objective To investigate the awareness of knowledge,attitude and behavior about disinfection and sterilization among clinical health care workers (HCWs).Methods 200 clinical HCWs were investigated randomly by using questionnaires.Results The average awareness rates of knowledge,attitude and behavior about disinfec-tion and sterilization among HCWs were 71 .49%,63.79%,and 86.45% respectively.The awareness rates of knowledge about the expiration dates of sterilized articles,classification of infectious diseases,and biological moni-toring were 49.43%,42.53%,and 23.56%,respectively;HCWs’attitude towards disinfection and sterilization:awareness rate of whether they paid attention to the new technology in specialty of central sterile supply was the lowest (26.44%);86.45% of HCWs thought they could master the aseptic operation technique,correct applica-tion method for sterile apparatus and related items,but easily ignored to check the integrity of aseptic packages and indicators before operation (67.24%).Conclusion The knowledge,attitude and behavior about disinfection and sterilization among HCWs still need to be improved,training on knowledge about disinfection and sterilization among HCWs should be strengthened.

This article presents the design of a treadmill of comprehensive training experiment for rats. The treadmill is composed of six tracks and two of them were designed as conventional plane, two were designed to swing right and left, and two were designed to swing back and forth. The power was provided by six motors. The MSP430F149 is used as core to adjust the swing rate and the grade of electric shock. The IAR for MSP430 is used to design the software. The speed of the six tracks could be adjusted between 0 and 30 m/min. The swing tracks of back and forth can be swung for 3-25 times per minute and the swing tracks of right and left for 3-32 times. The electric shock can be divided into three levels, i. e. strong, middle, and weak level for each track. The digital comprehensive training treadmill can meet different training needs, and provide experimental data for mechanism research of some related diseases.

Objective:To investigate the effects of rosuvastatin and lfuvastatin on patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) combing impaired glucose tolerance (IGT).
Methods: A total of 215 consecutive ACS patients combing IGT treated in our hospital from 2009-05 to 2011-05 were studied. The patients were randomly divided into 2 groups, Rosuvastatin group, the patients received rosuvastatin10mg/day, n=108 and Fluvastatin group, the patients received fluvastatin 40mg/day, n=107. The total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) levels before and at 6, 12, 24 months after medication, fasting blood glucose (FBG), 2-hour postprandial glucose (2hPBG) and the number of new-onset of diabetes patients were compared between 2 groups.
Results: After treatment, the TC, LDL-C levels were decreased (6, 12, 24 months) and the HDL-C level (12, 24 months), 2hPBG (24 months) were increased in both groups. Compared with Fluvastatin group, Rosuvastatin group had decreased TC and LDL-C (6, 12, 24 months), and increased LDL-C (24 months). With 6, 12, 24 months treatment, the blood lipids reached the standard were more in Rosuvastatin group than those in Fluvastatin group as 35.3%vs 26.1%, 36.4% vs 22.0%, 43.1% vs 31.8% respectively, all P<0.05. With 12 and 24 months treatment, the new-onset diabetes patients in Rosuvastatin group were 11 and 18, in Fluvastatin group were 12 and 17. With 12, 24 months treatment, FBG, 2hPBG levels and the number of new-onset diabetes patients were similar between 2 groups, P>0.05.
Conclusion: Compared with lfuvastatin, the conventional dose of rosuvastatin could better reduce the blood lipids level in ACS patients combing IGT, the effects for preventing ACS patients from IGT to diabetes were similar for both drugs.

Objective To master the serum nickel change rule of acute nickel carbonyl poisoning in rats,and to provide laboratory support for clinical treatment of acute nickel carbonyl poisoning patients.Methods SPF rats were given nickel carbonyl (250mg/m3,500mg/m3) in static inhalation for 30min.Rats were anesthetized by ether for 15 seconds after exposure for 30min,2h,4h,8h,12h,24h,48h,72h and 7d respectively.Anatomized rats,kept blood collection 2-3mL,and separated serum 0.5-1mL.Serum nickel was detected by AA800 (American PE company).Results The average serum nickel levels of 250mg/m3 dose group at 30min,2h,4h,8h,12h,24h,48h,72h,7d were (33.69 ±2.59),(24.61 ±3.03),(27.83 ±5.69),(21.36 ±4.14),(20.39 ±4.14),(18.80 ±7.02),(14.51 ±8.21),(13.58 ± 5.78) and (12.83 ± 4.41)μg/L.30 minutes reached the peak,and was 5.30-fold of those in normal controls.There had significant differences compared with normal control(t =5.959,5.958,5.990,5.998,5.997,5.994,5.990,4.317,4.347,all P ＜ 0.01).The average serum nickel levels of 500mg/m3 dose group at 30min,2h,4h,8h,12h,24h,48h,72h,7d were (72.22 ± 1.62),(57.78 ± 12.99),(42.25 ± 7.25),(103.77 ± 11.11),(79.04 ±12.26),(26.35 ±6.56),(18.58 ±4.92),(17.22 ±9.73),(14.59 ±5.27) μg/L.8h reached the peak,and was 16.33-fold of normal controls.The differences were significant (t =5.960,5.947,5.978,5.927,5.948,5.959,3.143,2.447,2.440,all P ＜ 0.05).Meanwhile,there were significant differences between two groups of 30min,2h,4h,8h,12h(t =5.208,2.447,2.449,5.959,5.959,P =0.001,0.049,0.042,0.000,0.000),but there was no significant difference after 24h.Conclusion There was significant doses-effect relationship between serum nickel content of acute nickel carbonyl poisoning rats and the dosage.Nickel carbonyl or its metabolites were excreted mainly within 24h.

Objective To investigate the association between arterial compliance and fundus oculi arteriosclerosis in elderly people. Methods A total of 73 elderly subjects,including 61 elderly patients with fundus oculi arteriosclerosis and 12 healthy volunteers were recruited into the study.Capacitive arterial compliance(C1)and oscillatory arterial compliance(C2)were measured by DO2020 Cardiovascular Profiling Instrument.Moreover,fundus photographs were measured using Canon figure fundus camera. Results There were significant differences in systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),mean artery pressure,pulse pressure,capacitive arterial compliance (C1),and oscillatory arterial compliance(C2)between patients with fundus oculi arteriosclerosis and healthy volunteers(all P<0.05).In multiple regression analysis,the grade of fundus oculi arteriosclerosis was significantly correlated with SBP,DBP,mean artery pressure and pulse pressure (r=0.357,0.261,0.342,0.280,all P<0.05).Moreover,there were significant correlations between the grade of fundus oculi arteriosclerosis and Cl(r=-0.281,P<:0.05),and C2(r=-0.308,P<0.01). Conclusions These findings underscore the efficacy of C1 and C2 in identifying patients with fundus oculi arteriosclerosis.

ObjectiveTo determine the expression of matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2),cysteine rich protein 61 (Cyr61) and CD25 in esophageal carcinoma and investigate their clinical significance.MethodThe expression of MMP-2, Cyr61 and CD25 in 68 cases of esophageal tumor tissues (esophageal carcinoma group ) and part-cancer( para-cancer group ) and 68 cases of reflux esophagitis (control group ) was detected by immunohistochemical method and the results were statistically analysed. ResultsThe positive expression rates of MMP-2,Cyr61 and CD25 were 82.35％(56/68), 73.53％(50/68) and 89.71％(61/68)respectively in esophageal carcinoma group,there were significant differences compared with those in paracancer group and control group(P ＜ 0.05) ; while there was no significantdifference between para-cancer group and control group (P ＞ 0.05 ). The positive expression rates of MMP-2, Cyr61 and CD25 in esophageal carcinoma group in different T stage, N stage and M stage all had statisticall differences (P ＜ 0.05),while there was no significant difference in different degree of differentiation (P ＞ 0.05 ). ConclusionMMP-2,Cyr61 and CD25 is highly expressed in esophageal carcinoma,there is some significance for understanding the occurrence, development and prognosis of esophageal carcinoma.
