1.Phased array coil and parallel imaging technology of MRI
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1993;0(06):-
The parallel imaging technology of MRI is the latest technique emerging in the last few years, which is based on the phased array coil. SMASH procedure operates by simultaneously acquiring linear combination signals with different spatial sensitivities from the phased array coils to reduce the phase encoding and shorten the imaging time. SENSE procedure operates by increasing the pace when sampling is performed in k-space, which proves a speedup by reducing the number of encoding steps. When the phased array coil designed, such problems have to be taken into account as resonant frequency, impedance match, mutual impedance and et al.

Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2000;0(08):-
AIM: To study the expression and function of novel gene AngRem104. METHODS: Northern blot was performed to detect the distribution of AngRem104 in human multiple normal tissues as well as the effect of AngⅡ and AT1R antagonist (losartan) on AngRem104 expression. The sense and antisense eukaryotic expression vectors of AngRem104 were constructed and transfected into human mesangial cells. RT-PCR was used to detect the expression of FN when AngRem104 was over-expressed. Primary sequence and motif analysis of AngRem104 protein were performed by on-line ExPasy predictive tools. RESULTS: AngRem104 was predicted to localize at the cellular nucleus. It was widely expressed in human heart, placenta, liver, muscle, kidney and pancreas. Moreover, the up-regulated expression of AngRem104 induced by AngⅡ was inhibited by losartan in a dose-dependent manner. CONCLUSION: AngRem104 is a novel nuclear protein related to the expression of fibronectin and could be up-regulated by AngⅡ in human MC.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of eye acupuncture plus linguistic competence training in treating post-stroke aphasia. Methods Sixty patients with post-stroke aphasia were randomly allocated to groups A, B and C, 20 cases each. Group A received eye acupuncture plus linguistic competence training; group B, eye acupuncture alone; group C, linguistic competence training alone. The linguistic competence scores, the aphasia quotient (AQ) score and the Chinese Functional Communication Profile (CFCP) score were recorded in the three groups before and after treatment. The clinical therapeutic effects were compared between the three groups. Results There were statistically significant pre-/post-treatment differences in the linguistic competence scores, the AQ score and the CFCP score in the three groups (P<0.01,P<0.05). There were statistically significant post-treatment differences in the linguistic competence (spontaneous speech, spoken language understanding and naming) scores, the AQ score and the CFCP score between groups A and C (P<0.05). The total efficacy rate was 95.0% in group A, 80.0% in group B and 85.0% in group C. There was a statistically significant difference in the total efficacy rate between group A and group B or C (P<0.05).Conclusion EYE acupuncture plus linguistic competence training is an effective way to treat post-stroke aphasia.

Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2001;0(05):-
Objective To report a new minimally invasive and cosmetic approach for atrial septal defect repair. Methods 46 patients ranged 3.6 to 32 (12.5?7 7) years underwent minimal right vertical infra axillary thoracotomy for atrial septal defect repairs under beating hearts from January 1997 to March 2000. One had a functional single atrum, two had an associated partial anomalous pulmonary venous connection, and three had the moderate pulmonary hypertension. Results The average bypass time was (30 3?7 8) min. There was no operative or late mortality and no morbidity directly related to the thoracotomy with beating heart. 37 patients had been Followed up for 3 months to 2 4 years(1 3?0 6) years. All of patients were free of symptoms. Conclusions The minimal right vertical infra axillary thoracotomy is a safe, cosmetic and minimal invasive approach to median sternotomy for repair of atrial septal defect or anomalous pulmonary venous connection.

Acta Anatomica Sinica 1953;0(01):-
Immunohistochemical study revealed the distributions of substance P, neurokinin A, neurokinin B and calcitonin gene related peptide immunoreactive nerve fibers in the medulla, cortex and capsule of tracheobronchial lymph nodes in 10 guinea pigs. More immunopositive fibers were found to be distributed in the area around the blood vessels and lymph sinuses, less in the area distant to blood vessels. The four kinds of positive immunoreactive nerve fibers were also seen within the wall of the blood vessels. The results provide some morphological basis for the study of neuroimmunomodulation.

Objective To investigate the effect of indirect gentle moxibustion on serum IL-1 and TNF-?contents in patients with knee osteoarthritis and explore the mechanism of its action. Method A randomized controlled trial was conducted according to the patient's condition. Besides acupuncture as basic treatment, the treatment group received indirect gentle moxibustion and the control group, thermotherapy plus cupping. Pre-treatment and post-treatment serum IL-1 and TNF-?contents and the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) scores were analyzed in the patients and compared between the two groups. Result There were statistically significant pre-/post-treatment differences in serum IL-1 and TNF-? contents and the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) score in the two groups (P<0.05). After treatment, serum IL-1 and TNF-?contents and the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) score were lower in the treatment group than in the control group. Conclusion Indirect gentle moxibustion can effectively decrease serum IL-1 and TNF-?contents in patients with knee osteoarthritis. That provides a certain molecular cytobiological and bio tissue engineering basis for the mechanism of its action in reducing inflammatory stimulation.
