AIM: To observe the effect of compound anisodine injection combined with yi-qi-tong-luo acupuncture, hot compress and massage for blepharospasm.
METHODS: Selected in our hospital, 60 cases (78 eyes) with blepharospasm were randomly divided into two groups, 30 cases 39 eyes in each group. The observation group were treated with compound anisodine injection combined with yi - qi - tong - luo acupuncture treatment, and supplemented by hot compress and massage, while the control group only with compound anisodine injection. We compared the treatment effect of the two groups.
RESULTS: In the observation group, 38 eyes were clinically effective, 1 eye was invalid, 35 eyes marked, the total effective rate was 97%, the markedly effective rate was 90%; in control group, 32 eyes were the clinically effective, 7 eyes invalid, 23 eyes marked, the total effective rate was 82%, the markedly effective rate was 59%; the total effective rate and markedly effective rate of observation group were higher than those of the control group with statistical difference (P<0. 05). The recurrence rates of the two groups were 5% and 34%, respectively, and the recurrence rate of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group ( P <0. 05).
CONCLUSION: The compound anisodine injection combined with yi - qi - tong - luo acupuncture, hot compress and massage for blepharospasm, can significantly improve the efficiency of treatment, with higher effective rate and lower recurrence rate, compared with using compound anisodine alone.

Objective To observe the expression of c-fos mRNA and protein in fluoride treated mouse fibroblast (FB) and osteoblast (OB) and to further explore the effects of c-fos in the osteogenic action of FB. Methods Mouse FB and OB were divided into control group and six fluoride groups (0, 0.0001, 0.0010, 0.1000, 1.0000, 10.0000,20.0000 mg/L F-), and the levels of c-fos protein at 2,4,24,48,72 h and c-fos mRNA at 48 h were measured by using ELISA and RT-PCR methods. Results Compared with the control group, fluoride increased the content of c-fos protein obviously in all FB group(P<0.01); and it is increased in 0.0001,0.0010 mg/L groups at 48 h (0.73±0.04, 0.64±0.14) and 0.0001 mg/L group at 72 h(0.70±0.17) in OB compared with the control group (0.32±0.04,0.27±0.05, P<0.01). Compared with the control group (0.95±0.11), RT-PCR revealed an increasing tendency of the expression of c-fos mRNA at 48 h in FB (1.06±0.16, 1.06±0.12,1.12±0.16,1.04±0.15,1.04±0.10,1.15±0.29), but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05); however, a statistically significant difference(P<0.01) of c-fos mRNA in 20.0000 mg/L group(1.40±0.17) in O B was found compared with the control group (1.06±0.06). Conclusion The higher expression of c-fos mRNA and protein in FB induced by fluoride may play an important role in the transformation of osteoblastic phenotype as well as increase the osteogenesis ability in FB.

International Eye Science 2014;(9):1702-1704
To observe the effect of autologous stem cell transplantation in diabetic retinopathy.
●METHODS:Totally 58 cases (116 eyes) who underwent autologous stem cell transplantation were confirmed as no diabetic retinopathy (18 eyes), mild non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy (NPDR) (41 eyes), mid-level NPDR (51 eyes); severe NPDR (6 eyes) by ophthalmoscope directly or indirectly and fluorescence fundus angiography (FFA ). Follow - up was 6 - 12mo, the changes of retinopathy were observed.
●RESULTS: The total effective rate of vision and retinopathy was 84. 4%, 76. 7%. The results of severe NPDR was statistically worse than the other groups ( P <0. 05).
●CONCLUSlON: The stable blood glucose level and improved pancreatic function after autologous stem cell transplantation might be helpful in diabetic retinopathy, the long effects need to be researched further.

Objective: To study the antipyretic action of Dipseudoephedrine Glycyrrhizin and its effect on heart rate and blood pressure of rats. Methods: The model of pyretic rabbit was established by diphtheria-pertussis-tetanus triple vaccine, and to observe the effect of Dipseudoephedrine Glycyrrhizin on temperature of rabbit. Two-path physiological recorder was used to measure heart rate and blood pressure. Results: The experiment proved that Dipseudoephedrine Glycyrrhizin can decrease the anus temperature of pyretic rabbit obviously.Dipseudoephedrine Glycyrrhizanate had no remarkably effect on heart rate and blood pressure. Conclusion: Dipseudoephedrine Glycyrrhizin has antipyretic action and has no effect on heart rate and blood pressure within studied dose.

Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2012;30(4):346-348
BackgroundIt has been proved that, after being forced, the biological soft tissue has stable biomechanical characteristics. However, there is rare study on corneal biomechanics.Rabbit is a main animal for experimental study in ophthalmology. But the biomechanical study of cornea in normal rabbit has not been reported.ObjectiveThis study was to investigate the biomechanical properties of normal rabbit central cornea and acquire the parameter. Methods Ten rabbits were sacrificed and the whole corneas were obtained and 20 central cornea specimens with 7 mm×5 mm of rabbit were prepared and tested on BOSE electroforce 3220-AT biomechanics machine under the room temperature and suitable humidity environment.Uniaxial tension, stress between strain, relaxation and creep were performed and the curves were drawn. The data was collected by wintest system to evaluate the biomechanical parameters of rabbit corneal tissue. ResultsThe maximum distortion intension of rabbit cornea was (7.7432±0.6099)MPa.After three cyclic loading, the stress gradually attenuated and the stress and strain flattened as the time change with the relaxation rate 30.33%.The deformation of the specimens enhanced with time decrease with the creep rate 24.33%. ConclusionsThe biomechanical characteristics of normal rabbit cornea are revealed in this study, which offer the basis for the experimental research of rabbit model aimed at corneal disease.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2014;39(4):594-600
It has been showed that there were obvious obstacle effects of Panax notoginseng replanting. Crop rotation was the main effective technique to overcome the obstacle. To find a reasonable crop rotation system for P. notoginseng, aqueous extracts from root, stem and leaf of P. notoginseng were analyzed for allelopathic effect on three maize varieties (which are often grown in regions where P. notoginseng grown). The main results were as follows: (1) Allelopathic effect of P. notoginseng stem and leaf extracts on the three other tested plants was stronger than that of root extracts; (2) Corn was more vulnerable to the effects of allelochemicals at seedling stage than at germination stage, and the corn root was more sensitive than aerial part to allelochemicals; (3) Lusan No. 3 and Yunrui No. 1 showed resistance to P. notoginseng allelopathy, with respective comprehensive sensitivity indexes (M3) of - 0.089 3 and -0.159 2, while Bainuo No. 1 is sensitive at M3 = -0.261 0. It then can be concluded that Lusan No. 3 and Yunrui No. 1 may be an alternative rotation plants for overcoming P. notoginseng continuous cropping obstacle.

Chinese Journal of Biotechnology 2002;18(1):16-19
Na+/H+ antiporter plays an important role in mechanisms of the plant salt tolerance, it extrudes Na+ from cell energized by the proton gradient generated by the plasm membrane H(+)-ATPase and/or compartmentalizes Na+ in vacuole energized by the proton gradient generated by the vacuolar membrane H(+)-ATPase and H(+)-PPiase. This review mainly discusses the latest progress in the study of Na+/H+ antiporter in plant and yeast at molecular level.
