Objective To evaluate the significance of enzymologic and morphologic changes of the detrusor muscle after bladder outlet obstruction(BOO).Methods The bladder detrusor muscles of 8 cases of BPH with BOO(BOO group) and another 8 cases of bladder tumor without BOO(control group) were collected.The content of MDA and the activity of SOD,NOS and Ca~(2+)Mg~(2+)-ATPase in both groups were measured,and observed under electron microscope.Results The activities of SOD(20.39?2.02)U/mg Protein,NOS(1.81?0.38)U/mg Protein,Ca~(2+)Mg~(2+)ATPase(1.47?0.43)?mol Pi/mg Protein of the detrusor muscles in control group were significantly higher than those of the detrusor muscles in BOO group(12.77?2.62)U/mg Protein,(1.36?0.22)U/mg Protein and(0.97?0.33)?mol Pi/mg Protein;P

The yeast fusant ZFF-28, which is high in biomass production and rich in selenium, was constructed after mutagenesis and protoplasts fusion between yeast strains. The total selenium content of ZFF-28 is 1.8 and 1.0 times higher than that of the parental strains Saccharomyces cerevisiae ZY-67 and Saccharomyces kluyveri SZY-198 respectively. Using single factor tests and a L16(4(3) x 2(1)) orthogonal design, the cultivation conditions was optimized as: 50mL culture in 250mL shake flasks in molasses containing 6% sugar and 60microg/mL Se at 28 degree C for 25h at 220 r/min, with the initial pH adjusted to 6.0 - 6.5. Under the optimized conditions, the biomass (dry weight) reached 8.2g/L and the Se content of the cells reached 2050microg/g, with organic and inorganic Se contents being 91% and 9% respectively.

The clinical prescriptions of hemoptysis that built by Menghe physician Ma Peizhi were collected, and were analyzed by the method of unsupervised data mining, such as association rules and clustering algorithm. From the prescriptions, we got the frequency of drugs, the association rules among drugs, 10 core drug combinations and 5 new prescriptions. Accordingly, after the analysis, Menghe physician Ma Peizhi had rich experience in the treatment of hemoptysis. His therapy for hemoptysis was clearing heat and moistening lung, dispel heat from blood to stop bleeding, and enriching yin and blood. And we can also make a conclusion that the TCM inheritance support system is of great practical value for minning the old doctors' clinical experiences.

Effects of 7 fungus strains on tobacco quality by applying fungal leavens on upper leaves were studied. Results showed that BF03, BF06 and BF63 can remarkably change the chemical components of tobacco, such as soluble sugar, protein, nicotine etc., and make them more harmonious. And the smoking quality of the flue-cured tobacco leaves treated was much better than the control.

Objective To evaluate laparoscopic radical cholecystectomy for T2 gallbladder cancers.Methods A retrospective analysis was made on 44 patients with pathology confirmed T2 gallbladder cancer undergoing laparoscopic vs open radical cholecystectomy.The clinicopathological and follow-up data were compared.Results Laparoscopic cholecystectomy was performed in 32 patients,the implantation metastasis rate of this approach has no statistical differences compared with the open cholecystectomy (P =1.000).26 patients underwent laparoscopic radical resection and the remaining 18 patients underwent open radical resection.There was no statistical difference in operation time (P =0.953),blood loss (P =0.193)and postoperative complications (P =1.000),but the laparoscopic radical resection group is superior to the open group on postoperative pain grading (P =0.022),ambulation time (P =0.000),nothing per mouth time (P =0.000) and length of hospital stay (P =0.048).The mean number of lymph nodes retrieved was 5 ±4 (range 1-12) in the laparoscopic radical group and 6 ± 3 (range 1-12) in the open group (P =0.983);the 1,3,5 year survival rates was 92.3％,70.3％,61.5％ and 92.3％,76.3％,69.3％,respectively(P =0.473).Conclusions Initial laparoscopic cholecystectomy does not increase the rate of seeding metastasis in the context of intact gallbladder carcinoma.Totall laparoscopic radical resection is feasible in selected T2 gallbladder cancer patients.

The results of the analysis were that 18 core combinations were dig out, such as Citri Exocarpium Rubrum-Eriobotryae Folium-Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium. And there were 9 new prescriptions were found out such as Aurantii Fructus-Citri Exocarpium Rubium-Eriobotryae Folium-Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium. The results of the analysis were proved that Ma Peizhi of Menghe Medical Genre was good at curing phlegm retention syndrome by using the traditional Chinese medicine of mild and light, such as the medicines of mild tonification, and clearing damp and promoting diuresis.

ObjectiveTo discuss the relationship between the cross-reactivity of antibody against the hypervariable region 1 ( HVR1 ) of hepatitis C virus and early viral response ( EVR ) in patients undergoing antiviral therapy.MethodsBy ELISA and HCV HVR1 antibody cross-reactivity matrix reagent,the differences of anti-HCV hypervariable region antibody were tested in baseline serum from 46 patients with chronic hepatitis C before antiviral therapy.HCV genotyping and HCV RNA were analyzed by RT-PCR method.The HCV RNA assay was done at three time points:before treatment,pegylated interferon in combination with ribavirin therapy for 12 and 48 weeks.ResultsIn 46 cases of chronic hepatitis C patients,there were 16 cases with HCV 2a type,30 cases with l b and 33 patients obtained EVR.The EVR incidence of type 2a[ 93.8％ ( 15/16 ) ] was higher than that of type 1 b[ 60.0％ (18/30),x2 =4.316,P ＜ 0.05 ].In the EVR group of type 1b chronic hepatitis C patients,the positive number of average multi-target HVR1 antigen was ( 12 ± 4),which was significantly higher than that in the Non-EVR patients [ (7 ± 5 ),t =2.797,P ＜0.01 ].Bv the Fisher exact test,it was showed that patients'serum response to HVR1 antigens numbered 001,003,009,013,016 were higher in EVR group than those in non-EVR group,with statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05 ).ConclusionThe cross-reactivity of HVR1 antibody may play an important role in predicting the effectiveness of antiviral therapy.
