To standardize the harvest ways of Dendrobium officinale and improve the quality and yield of D. officinale, a field experiment was carried out to study the effect of two kinds of harvest ways, which were keeping some of the axial shoot and harvesting all of the shoot by the end of the year. Then, the agronomic traits and yield were measured and the contents of polysaccharides and extractum were determined. The results showed that the harvest ways significantly affected the growth of D. officinale. Keeping some of the axial shoot could significantly improved the number of sprout, stem length, internode number and the internodal length, which also triggered increase the weight of fresh stems, leaves and the total of them and dry stems in per unit area, but it could not promote the stem diameter and the polysaccharide content in stems. Keeping some of the axial shoot moderately was conducive to the improvement of the production of medicinal materials in the process of harvesting by promoting the germination and growth of new buds, and to ensure the polysaccharide content by regulating the illumination and the density of cultivation.

Tumor 2015;35(3):292-300
Objective: To investigate the clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis of 1006 Uygur and Han patients with different molecular subtypes of breast cancer. Methods: One thousand and six Uygur and Han patients with breast cancer were divided into different molecular subtypes including Luminal A, Luminal B, human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER-2) enriched and Basal-like, based on estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor (PR), HER-2 and Ki-67. The clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis of Uygur and Han patients with breast cancer of different molecular subtypes were analyzed. Results: The proportions of Uygur patients with Luminal A, Luminal B, HER-2 enriched and Basal-like molecular subtypes were 49.4%, 18.1%, 13.2%, and 19.3%, respectively, as well as 56.5%, 18.1%, 5.9%, and 19.5% in Han patients, respectively; there was a statistically significant difference between Uygur and Han patients (P = 0.002). The rate of distant metastasis of Uygur patients with Luminal A was higher than that of Han patients (P = 0.005). The local recurrence rate of Uygur patients with Luminal B was also higher than that of Han patients (P = 0.012). The six-year disease-free survival rate of Uygur patients with Luminal A was lower than that of Han patients (P < 0.05). The overall six-year survival rate and six-year disease-free survival rate of Uygur patients with Luminal B were lower than those of Han patients (both P < 0.05). The tumor size, TNM stage, histologic grade and molecular subtype were independent prognostic factors affecting overall survival and disease-free survival of breast cancer patients. Conclusion: The proportion of Uygur breast cancer patients with HER-2 enriched subtype is higher than that of Han patients. The distant metastasis rate of Uygur breast cancer patients with Luminal A is high. The local recurrence rate of Uygur breast cancer patients with Luminal B is high, and the prognosis is poor.

This project is targeted on exploring some improving approaches to isolate and culture the microorganisms which are difficult to be isolated and cultured through the conventional ways. The results showed that betaine, sodium pyruvate, SOD and catalase are helpful for increasing the total number and variety of isolated strains. A kind of combined method was also used to isolate the micro-colony which can not be seen by naked eyes on the plates. Totally 52 Actinomycetes and 103 bacteria and 17 fungi were obtained from 4 soil samples using the above methods. 4. 325% microorganisms were obtained as positive strains to inhibit the growth of some kinds of test bacteria, which is higher than the percent using generally isolated ones. These microbial natural products may remain an important resource for the drug discovery.

Chinese Journal of Medical Genetics 2003;20(3):189-192
OBJECTIVETo search for the possible relation between tortilcollis and partial chromosome 13q trisomy.
METHODSFluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) technique combined with chromosome banding was performed to determine the karyotype of two patients with typical clinical features of partial 13q trisomy syndrome, then their manifestations were compared with those of the literatures published previously.
RESULTSThe two cases were partial trisomy of 13q14--> ter with a different second derivative chromosome, in spite of this difference, both of them had tortilcollis.
CONCLUSIONIt is suggested that a potential site for tortilcollis may locate on the long arm of chromosome 13. With reference to a report previously published, the more precise candidate related region may be 13q32--> qter.

BACKGROUNDNeovascular glaucoma (NVG) is a refractory glaucoma. The management of NVG is very difficult, and it is more difficult when combined with vitreous hemorrhage. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of ranibizumab plus combined surgery for NVG with vitreous hemorrhage.
METHODSA total of 26 eyes of 26 NVG patients with vitreous hemorrhage were recruited in this study. The patients aged from 36 to 63 years with a mean age of 51.97 ± 7.60 years. The mean intraocular pressure (IOP) was 46.38 ± 5.75 mmHg (1 mmHg = 0.133 kPa) while being treated with the maximum medical therapy. The mean best-corrected visual acuities converted to logarithm of the minimum angle of resolution (logMAR BCVA) was 2.62 ± 0.43. All the patients underwent intravitreal injection of 0.5 mg (0.05 ml) ranibizumab combined with pars plana vitrectomy (PPV), pars plana lensectomy (PPL) with a preserved anterior capsule, panretinal photocoagulation (PRP), and trabeculectomy (intravitreal ranibizumab [IVR] + PPV + PPL + PRP + trabeculectomy). The IOP and logMAR BCVA were the main outcome measures in this study.
RESULTSThe follow-up period was 12 months. The mean postoperative IOPs were 26.38 ± 3.75 mmHg, 21.36 ± 3.32 mmHg, 18.57 ± 3.21 mmHg, and 16.68 ± 2.96 mmHg, respectively at 7 days, 1 month, 3 months, and 12 months after PPV + PPL + PRP + trabeculectomy. At the last follow-up, the mean IOP was significantly lower than the preoperative one (t = 6.612, P = 0.001). At 7 days, 1 month, 3 months, and 12 months after PPV + PPL + PRP + trabeculectomy, the mean logMAR BCVA were 1.30 ± 0.36, 1.29 ± 0.37, 1.29 ± 0.39, and 1.26 ± 0.29, respectively. At the last follow-up, the mean logMAR BCVA was significantly improved, and the difference was statistically significant compared with preoperative one (t = 6.133, P = 0.002). The logMAR BCVA improved in 22 eyes (84.62%), and remained stable in 4 eyes (15.38%). The neovascularization in the iris and the angle regressed significantly in all patients 7 days after ranibizumab injection. No serious complications occurred during 12 months of the study.
CONCLUSIONSIVR + PPV + PPL + PRP + trabeculectomy can control IOP well and improve BCVA without severe complication for NVG patients with vitreous hemorrhage.

Objective To explore the effect of evidence-based nursing during preoperative interview for abdominal surgery patients' recovery after general anesthesia. Methods 124 patients who accepted selective operation on abdominal region were randomly divided into evidence-based group and control group, 62 cases ineach group. On the base of routine method in the preoperative interview, the evidence-based group established evidence-based information supporting system, which aimed to dredge the psychological stress of the patients'response to surgery individually and intervene by demonstrating simulation of operation process. According to the traditional way, control group accepted routine preoperative interview. To compare patients' indexes of two groups before and after anesthesia. Results Patients' heart rate and the mean arterial pressure lower than control group before anesthesia in evidence-based group. The dosage of midazolam in evidence-based group was less than the control group (t =6. 73,7. 24,8. 17;P <0. 05). The difference of pre-anesthesia anxiety scores was statistically significant between evidence-based group and control group (t =7. 68 ,P <0. 01 ). But the difference of the anxiety scores after operation wasn' t statistically significant between two groups ( t = 0. 62, P > 0. 05 ). Patients in evidence-based group took shorter revival time than control group ( t = 9. 71,10. 45,11.32 ; P < 0. 01 ). Compared the different period pain score of two groups, patients of evidence-based group were lower than those of the control group, and the patients' satisfaction scores also were higher than those of control group, the differences were statistically significant (t =2. 38,5. 22,2. 63,7. 62;P <0. 05). Conclusions Application evidence-based nursing information support in preoperative interview effectively relieves the preoperative anxiety, can reduce the dosage of narcotic and sedative drugs, shorten the revival time, improve patient' s satisfaction and have reached the antieipant effects.
