The papers regarding moxibustion published in science citation index (SCI) journals for the recent 5 years were searched to explore the international tendency of moxibustion researches, which provided references for moxibustion to have a better internationalization. With methods of internet search and database search, a total of 116 papers regarding moxibustion were included. These papers were published in 40 kinds of journals, mostly in Britain and the United States. The journal with the highest impact factor was Stroke, which had 5729 points. The number and impact factor of these journals were inferior to those of acupuncture journal. Compared among these journals, the depth and width of moxibustion research were increasing year by year. The category of diseases related with moxibustion is mainly digestive system diseases, motor system diseases and urinary-genital system diseases. The type of papers was characterized with clinical observation and mechanism research. Researches related with moxibustion included moxibustion dose and safety. It was believed that the international recognition of moxibustion effectiveness, standardization of moxibustion manipulation, standardization research, etc. were needed to be solved in the further.

Objective To evaluate the effects of high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) on hepatic cancer cells spreading in blood.Methods AFP mRNA in peripheral blood of 19 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma was detected before and after HIFU therapy by RT PCR.Results ①Before HIFU therapy, 11 of 19 cases were AFP mRNA positive (57.9%), while the control group were all negative. AFP mRNA was correlated with some clinical parameters such as serum AFP level, tumor size, portal vein embolism and extrahepatic metastasis ( P 0.05). ③After one week of HIFU therapy, the AFP mRNA positive rate of the group with tumor size less than 8 cm was much lower than that of tumor size larger than 8 cm ( P

Objective To study the safety and feasibility of laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy in different modalities.Methods From September 2005 to October 2012,57 patients with masses located at pancreatic body/tail were treated by laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy.According to the operation procedure,patients were divided into four groups:distal pancreatectomy with splenectomy; Spleenpreserving distal pancreatectomy with conservation of the splenic artery and vein; spleen-preserving distal pancreatectomy and without conservation of the splenic artery and vein and laparoscopic to open distal pancreatectomy.Data of each group for operation time,blood loss and complications were collected and statistically analyzed.Results In 57 patients,5 cases were converted to open distal pancreatectomy.52 cases underwent successful laparoscopic operation (including 1 cases of hand-assisted).22 cases of spleen preserving operation (39％),and 30 cases of splenectomy operation (61％).Among the 4 groups of patients operation time,intraoperative blood loss,postoperative length of stay were not significantly different (all P ＞ 0.05).There was no operative mortality.Two cases suffered from B level postoperative pancreatic leakage,there was no C level pancreatic leakage.Conclusions Laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy with or without splenectomy is safe for the treatment of body and tail tumors of the pancreas.

Objective 　To investigate the effect of risperidone on regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) and the relationship between efficacy and rCBF ratio. Methods　Twenty four naive schizophrenic patients (diagnosed according to the ICD 10) completed 8 weeks treatment with risperidone. Ten patients were male and 14 were female. Twenty six healthy controls were enrolled as control group. The treatment dose of risperidone was 3～6 mg/d. After 8 weeks treatment, brain imaging was conducted again. Results　Before treatment with risperidone, compared to the control group, the baseline rCBF ratios of left and right inferior posterior temporal of patients were higher and the cognitive activated rCBF ratios of left mid-lateral frontal was lower. After treatment, the baseline state rCBF ratios of right lateral temporal, left and right superior posterior temporal were significantly decreased. The cognitive activated rCBF ratios of left and right inferior medial frontal, left inferior lateral frontal, left superior fronto temporal and left superior lateral fronal significantly increased. The efficacy was correlated with changes of the baseline rCBF ratio in some RIOs. Conclusions　Risperidone could change the blood perfusion in some ROIs. It suggested that the perfusion in these ROIs could be useful for predicting treatment efficacy.

This study is to investigate the effect of artesunate on transforming growth factor-beta1 (TGF-beta1) induced epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and its possible mechanism. After the in vitro cultured RLE-6TN cells were treated with TGF-beta1 then artesunate intervened on it, after 24 h, expression of the markers of mesenchymal cell was assayed using Western blotting and real-time PCR analysis. Western blotting was also used to detect the effect of TGF-beta1 on the Smad3 and Smad7 expressions of RLE-6TN cells. Morphological alterations were examined by phase-contrast microscope, and ultrastructure changes by electron microscope. Incubation of RLE-6TN cells with TGF-beta1 resulted in the up-regulation of the expression of the mesenchymal cell markers, after artesunate intervened on it, resulted in the down-regulation of the expression. Meanwhile, incubation with artesunate intervened on RLE-6TN cells could lead to the apparent down-regulation of the expression of Smad3 and up-regulation of Samd7 and the transition of RLE-6TN cells to mesenchymal-like by TGF-beta1 induction, after artesunate intervened on it, RLE-6TN cells to epithelial-like. TGF-beta1 induced epithelial-mesenchymal transition process; artesunate can inhibit TGF-beta1-induced epithelial-mesenchymal transition process, the possible mechanism is up-regulation of the expression of Smad7 and down-regulation of the expression of Smad3, meanwhile inhibits phosphorylation of Smad3.

Objective To evaluate laparoscopic partial splenectomy (LPS) for benign splenic tumors.Method Data of 55 patients undergoing laparoscopic partial splenectomy (20 cases) vs total splenectomy (LTS in 35 cases) at Peking University Third Hospital from August 2008 to July 2016 were collected and retrospectively analyzed.Results There was no difference in sex,BMI,preoperative H GB,preoperative PLT,operation time,operative blood loss and hospital stay between two groups.Age in LPS cases was younger than LTS group,while the tumor size was larger.On the 4th day postoperatively,PLT level was significnatly higher in LTP group.More patients in LTS group suffered from thrombocytosis.Conclusions Laprtoscopic partial splenectomy is a safe and effective procedure for the management of splenic benign tumors.

A separation technology of catalpol from Rehmannia with macroporpus adsorbent resins was investigated. The content of catalpol in the extract was determined by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Nine different kinds of macroporous adsorbent resins were studied on the static capacity of adsorption and desorption, and D101 resin was best for the separation of the extraction solution of Rehmannia. The results showed that D101 resin had the highest static adsorption capacity of 69.2mg/g dry resin and its isotherm curve can be well described by Langmuir and Freudlich equation. The 5% ethanol elution on removal of the solvent under reduced pressure provided a brown powder, which was subjected to an open column chromatography on silica gel eluted with a CHCl3–MeOH gradient. The fraction eluted with CHCl3-MeOH (8∶2) was identified as catalpol and the purity of the compound was more than 90% purity by HPLC analysis. The yield of this separation technology was 6%.

The effects of Guizhi Fuling capsule and its active ingredient combination within different concentration on SPL proliferate were observed by MTT method. The ratio of CD80/86, CD3CD25 and CD3CD69 was used to evaluate cell activation effects of Guizhi Fuling capsule and its active ingredient combination by FCM. Guizhi Fuling capsule with concentration of 400 mg · L(-1)can promote spleen lymphocyte proliferation, as well as the active ingredient combination, which showed the obvious dose-effect relationship. Compared with control group, the difference has statistical significance (P≤0.01). The result of FCM showed that Guizhi Fuling capsule and its active ingredient combination can promote CD80 and CD86 expression on spleen lymphocyte, and also can increase CD25 and CD69 ratio between spleen CD3+ cells. Compared with control group, the difference has statistical significance (P≤0.01). Thus, Guizhi Fuling capsule and its active ingredient combination may have immune-modulate effects, and the mechanism may have a close relationship with the lymphocyte activation.
