The only possible cure for patients with locally advanced colorectal cancer is multivisceral resection. With the development of oncological surgery techniques and various types of targeted cancer therapy drugs, treatment modality of multidisciplinary team has been proposed and implemented. How to choose the optimal treatment strategy is a common problem.

It has been fully studied about interstitial cells of Cajal in gastrointestinal tract,and in recent years these cells are discovered in other tissues and organs,such as urinary system,cardiovascular system,reproductive system,liver,pancreas and mammary gland.The criterion and process reported by some authors are reliable for invesgating these cells,and can be helped to study the distribution and function of these cells outside gastrointestinal tract.It is showed that the fuction of interstitial cells of Cajal exsited in urinary organs seems to be related with the spontaneous rhythmic contraction of smooth muscle,while in heart seems to cause atrial fibrillation in humans,but the poteinal fuctions of interstitial cells of Cajal in other tissues and organs have not been revealed.

Most studies show that the blood transfusion can promote patients tumor recurrence, and lower their 5-year survival rate. Even patients in the early phase, a small amount of blood transfusion has significant effect. Blood transfusion causing tumor recurrence may be due to that blood transfusion recipients suppressed immune function, resulting in rapid growth of residual tumor cells. In this paper, blood transfusion for patients with tumors will be discassed. induding the benefit and danger of blood transfusion autotransfusion and blood substitutes for patients with tumors ,and development of transfusion medicine in our country.

Objective To summarize the current status and development of therapy for anal canal cancer. Methods Application of Medline database and CHKD database, with "anal canal cancer", "chemotherapy", "radiotherapy", "abdominoperineal resection" as key words search literature about anal canal cancer published from January 1996 to June 2009. Retrieval criteria: the epidemiology of anal canal cancer; the etiology of anal canal cancer; the clinical manifestation and classification of anal canal cancer; strategies and development of therapy for anal canal cancer. Sixty-seven of them met the retrieval criteria, while finally 22 related papers were analyzed. Results Over the last 30 years, treatment of anal canal cancer has undergone a profound evolution. Combined-modality treatment combined with chemoradiotherapy (CRT), including three-dimensional conformal radiation therapy (3D-CRT), intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), novel anti-tumor agent and salvage surgery, had resulted in a 5-year survival rate of approximately 80 %. Conclusion Anal canal cancer is a rare tumor. CRT has replaced surgery as the first choice of anal canal cancer. The development of molecular biology will likely lead to further proposals for trials of anal canal cancer.

Metabolic abnormality is correlated with the incidence of colorectal cancer.Metabolic syndrome is consisting of abdominal obesity,dyslipidemia,high blood pressure,sugar metabolic abnormality,and all of these factors are associated with colorectal cancer.Abdominal obesity and sugar metabolic abnormality may be the primary factors causing rectal cancer.Visceral fat is physiologically more active than subcutaneous fat.Visceral fat can produce and secret hormones and cytokines,which are involved in inflammation and metabolism,therefore the amount of visceral fat may directly or indirectly related to the occurrence of colorectal cancer.Obesity acts as a risk factor for colorectal cancer by several mechanisms,including high blood insulin,insulin-like growth factor,and the change of the adipose cytokines concentrations.Metabolic biomarkers may not only provide clues of colorectal carcinogenesis from the point of view of etiology,but also can help to explore new obesity phenotypes that is relevant to incidence risk of colorectal cancer.

Denervation is the abscission or destruction of the nerve,and when the endogenous and exogenous nerves distribited in the colon would be damaged,the colon would become a denervated one.That may be a result of surgical process or the symptom of disease such as Hirschsprung's disease.The denervated colon would have some changes in motility,absorption and secretion,thus the function of the colon would be affected.

Objective To detect the expression of angiotensin Ⅱ type 1 receptor (AT1R) in the different fibrotic stages of human liver. Methods The collagen Ⅰ was detected by immunohistochemical method. Indirect immunofluoresence-labelled method was used to detected AT1R. And semi-quantitative RT-PCR was used to detect AT1R mRNA. Results The type Ⅰ collagen area enlarged with the progression of hepatic fibrosis. The positive expression of AT1R was concentrated in the cytoplasm of hepatic stellate cells(HSC) around the lobes of liver or in the hepatic sinus. Eight of twelve cases of normal liver tissues were positive, and all the eighteen cases of fibrotic liver tissues were positive. Objective To investigate the changes of autonomic nerve function of coronary heart disease (CHD) patients with panic disorder(PD). Methods All the subjects who met with the diagnostic code of CHD and PD were divided into CHD group(n=40) ,PD group(n=36) ,comorbid CHD and PD group(n=27) ,and 40physical examinee were recruited as normal control group. They had a 24 hours Holter ECG monitoring by time and frequency domain analysis of heart rate variability. ANOVA analysis was utilized to statistic the collected data. Results Compared with normal controls,the patients of others groups had every indexs of HRV were reduced. The indexs of HRV of comorbid CHD and PD were lower than the patients of CHD or PD group. The score of time domain SDNN(70.40 ± 14.74)ms,SDANN(91.72 ± 24.46)ms,PNN50(2.83 ±2.07)%, RMSSD( 15.66 ±7.45)ms,frequency domain LF(647.54 ± 129.24)ms2, HF(596. 16± 127.66) ms2 in comorbid CHD and PD. There were significant differences with others groups(P ＜ 0.05 ). Conclusion The autonomic nervous functional of the patients with CHD and PD were in disorder. The autonomic nervous functional disorder of the patients with comorbid CHD and PD was more severe.

Objective To construct recombinant plasmid pcDvp3 and observe the apoptosis-inducing effect of vp3 gene on human breast cancer cell line-435. Methods (1) vp3 gene was cloned into the plasmid pcDNA3.1 to form the recombinant plasmid pcDvp3. Then the nucleotides sequencing was processed. (2) 48h after transfection of pcDvp3 and pcDNA3.1 into breast cancer cell lines-435,optical microscopy, electric-microscopy, agarose electrophoresis and flow cytometry were used to verify apoptosis of tumor cells.(3)Nude mouse model of human breast cancer cells -435 was established to observe the tumor-inhibiting rate and TUNEL was adopted to identify apoptosis. Results (1) Sequence analysis justified the recombination of plasmid pcDvp3. (2) 48h after transfection into breast cancer cells-435, distinct morphological transformation and typical apoptosis bodies were observed, agarose electrophoresis of genomic DNA showed typical ladder-like pattern and flow cytometry analysis showed apoptosis peaks with the percentage of 14.42%. Objective To investigate the clinical effects and safety of spiral stone basket assisted with FURL in the treatment of unilateral upper ureteral stones for diameter>1.0 cm. Methods 140 patients with unilateral upper ureteral stones for diameter>1.0 cm from January 2012 to December 2015 were randomly divided into control group (70 patients) with FURL used alone and observation group (70 patients) with spiral stone basket assisted application on the basis of control group;the perioperative clinical indicators, the lithotripsy success rate, the stone clearance rate, the stone removal rate and the postoperative complication incidence of both groups were compared. Results The operation time of observation group was signiifcantly longer than control group (P<0.05). There was no signiifcant difference in the blood loss volume in operation and hospitalization time between 2 groups (P>0.05). The lithotripsy success rate and the stone clearance rate of observation group was signiifcantly higher than control group (P<0.05). The stone removal rate of observation group was signiifcantly lower than control group (P<0.05). The postoperative complication incidence of observation group was no difference between 2 groups (P> 0.05). The total treatment expenses of observation group was signiifcantly fewer than control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Spiral stone basket assisted with FURL in the treatment of unilateral upper ureteral stones for diameter>1.0 cm can efifciently higher the stone removal effects, reduce the stone removal risk and not increase the postoperative complications incidence.
