Objective To explore the changes of blood gas, plasma fibrinogen and D-dimmer levels in neonates with severe hyaline membrane disease (HMD). Methods Forty - three neonates with severe HMD(treated by mechanical ventilation) ,26 neonates with mild HMD( without treated by mechanical venti-lation) and 31 controls were studied. The blood gas,plasma fibrinogen and D-dimmer levels were measured. Results Compared with other two groups, the levels of blood pH, PaO2 and FBG decreased significantly in neonates with severe HMD (P<0.01). The levels of PaCO2 and D-dimmer increased significantly (P<0.01). The blood pH was negatively correlated with plasma D-dimmer level,but it was positively correlated with plasma FBG level in neonates with severe HMD. Conclusion There are coagulation abnormalities in neonates with severe HMD. Hypoxemia and acidosis have close relationship with the coagulation abnormali-ties.

Objective To evaluate the completion of a goal in elimination of iodine deficiency disorders IDD) in the 12th five-year plan for prevention and control of endemic diseases,to analyze the present situation of IDD in prevention and to improve sustainable control strategies in the city of Wuhai in Inner Mongolia.Methods In 2015,using the specific sampling method,5 units were selected from 3 counties of Wuhai according to their subarea positions of east,south,west,north and center,and then 1 township was randomly selected from each unit,40 school children (half males and half females) aged 8-10 and 20 pregnant women were investigated in each township.Goiter of children aged 8-10 was examined by B ultrasonic,the urinary iodine levels were detected by acid digestion arsenic-cerium contact method and the salt iodine levels were measured with the method of direct titrimetric method.Results Totally 900 edible salt samples of local residents had been examined and the median iodized salt iodine was 24.2 mg/kg,the consumption rate of iodized salt was 99.56％ (896/900),the coverage rate of iodized salt was 99.78％ (896/900),and the rate of qualified iodized salt was 99.78％ (898/898).The goiter rate of children was 0.33％ (2/600),urinary iodine level (UI) median was 221.6 μg/L in 600 children aged 8-10,the ratio of urinary iodine levels between 100-199 μg/L was 31.7％ and the median of urinary iodine was 122.15 μg/L in 300 pregnant women,the ratio of urinary iodine between 150-250 μg/L was 26.7％ (80/300).Conclusion Wuhai has achieved the goal of prevention and control of endemic disease prevention andcontrol of the 12th five-year plan,and reached the continuous state of elimination of IDD.

Objective Through comparing the similarities and differences between respairing effect on rat’s gastric mucosal lesion by electroacupure (EA) at Meridian of Foot Yangming and Meridian of Foot Shaoyang, to explore the specificity of the correlation between Meridian of Foot and Stomach and the mechanism of the healing effect by EA at meridian of Foot Yangming for curing the gastric lesion. Methods Forty rats were randomly divided into 4 groups:blank group, model group, stomach tunnel group, gallbladder tunnel group. All rats (except normal group) were made model by water restraint stress (WRS). After corresponding experimental process, epidermal growth factor (EGF) and transforming growth factor alpha (TGF-?) of plasma, gastric mucous tissue concentration was detected with radioimmunoassay, and the expression of EGFR mRNA of above tissue was detected by the reverse transcriptase-polymease chain reaction (RT-PCR) method. Results The gastric mucosal lesion index of Foot Yangming group decreased significantly in comparison with that of other groups, while EGF, TGF-? of gastric mucous tissue concentration level of Foot Yangming group was obviously higher than that of model group and gallbladder tunnel group. EA oould up-regulate the expression gastric mucosal EGFRmRNA, and there was a more significant difference in the group by EA at Meridian of Foot Yangming than that in the model group and gallbladder tunnel group. Conclusion The curative effect of EA at points of Meridian of Foot Yangming on the gastric mucosa may be realized by the synthesis, secretion and release of the related EGF family factor, such as EGF, TGF-? and so on. Such special regulation of electroacupuncture on gastric mucosal tissue was related to the gene expression of EGFRmRNA, and that may be further mechanism of the curative effect of EA at points of Meridean of Foot-Yangming on gastric mucosal lesion. There existed corresponding correlation between Meridian of Foot Yangming and Stomach.

Objective To study the effects of single leaf Asarum on pulmonary ventilation in experimental rats with syndrome of cold fluid shooting lung. Methods Wistar rats were randomly divided into three groups including singe leaf Asarum group [fed with water extracts of singe leaf Asarum 1 mL/(kg?d)], singe leaf Asarumi Miq group [fed with water extracts of singe leaf Asarumi Miq 1 mL/(kg?d)] and normal saline group [fed with 0.9% normal saline 1 mL/(kg?d)]. After fed continually for 6 days, whole lung of rats were washed with normal saline [7 ℃, 2.5 mL/(kg?d)] and then were perfused for 30 seconds. This treatment was repeated 5 times every 5 minutes to make the model of cold fluid shooting lung. The fluid of perfusion was collected and detected. The changes of TXB2, ET, protein and phospholipids of the fluid were measured before and after lavage. Results TXB2, ET and protein in the perfusing fluid ascended obviously, while phospholipids were low in normal saline group. Objective To explore the clinical value of serum procalcitonin(PCT)and C-reactive protein(CRP)combination detec-tion in early diagnosis of liver cirrhosis complicating spontaneous bacterial peritonitis(SBP).Methods The peripheral blood sam-ples were collected from 30 cases of liver cirrhosis complicating SBP,30 cases of simple ascites liver cirrhosis (non-SBP)and 45 healthy subjects as control group.The serum PCT level was detected by the dry immunofluorescence quantitation method and the serum CRP level was detected by the immunoturbidimetry.The sensitivity and specificity of PCT,CRP and PCT combined with CRP in diagnosing liver cirrhosis complicating SBP were compared and the relationship between PCT levels and prognosis was ana-lyzed.Results Compare with the healthy control group and the non-SBP group,the serum PCT and CRP levels in the SBP group were markedly increased(P <0.05).The sensitivity of PCT,CRP and PCT combined with CRP in diagnosing liver cirrhosis compli-cating SBP was 93.3%,90.0% and 96.6% respectively,and the specificity was 90.0%,75.0% and 95.0% respectively.Conclusion The combination detection of serum PCT and CRP can increase the sensitivity and specificity of the diagnosis and has more clini-cal value in early diagnosing liver cirrhosis complicating SBP.

[ABSTRACT]OBJECTIVETo investigate the change of fibrinogen, soluable intercellular adhesion molecules-1 (sICAM-1), soluable vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (sVCAM-1) in the blood of elderly patients with sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSHL) and the difference between different type of SSHL.METHODS40 elderly patients with SSHL were subdivided into different types according to the newest guideline of diagnosis and treatment of Chinese medical association.They were subdivided into two groups with or without comorbidities.The control group were made of 40 healthy elderly people.The expression of fibrinogen, sICAM-1 and sVCAM-1 in the blood serum were detected and statistically analysed.RESULTSThe expression of fibrinogen, sICAM-1 and sVCAM-1 in SSHL patients were higher than that of the control group with statistical significance.There is no significant difference between different types of SSHL,though significant difference were found between groups with and without comorbidities. CONCLUSIONThere is increased expression of fibrinogen, sICAM-1 and sVCAM-1 in elderly SSHL patients;microcirculation dysfunction may play an dominant role in the pathogenesis of elderly patients with SSHL.

Objective To investigate the knowledge,attitude and practice (KAP) status quo of the primary caregivers on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in the patients with high risk of sudden cardiac death (SCD).Methods The convenience sampling method was used to extract 139 primary caregivers of the inpatients with high risk of SCD in the cardiology department of our hospital from January to June 2015.The self-designed questionnaire was adopted to perform the KAP status quo investigation on CPR and the influence factors were analyzed.Results The scoring rate of knowledge,attitude and practice about CPR in the primary caregivers were 36.85%,64.26% and 29.24%,respectively;the cultural level,residence place,health status,training experience,first-aid experience and sick time of the patients were the influence factors of KAP on CPR (P<0.05).Conclusion The KAP status quo of CPR among primary caregivers are poor.It is necessary to strengthen CPR training in primary caregivers and improve their KAP level.

Acne is divided into the patterns of wind and heat in the lung meridian and accumulation of dampness and heat. Forty cases of acne were treated by acupuncture plus herbal drugs (acupuncture and drug group, A) and 30 cases were treated by simple acupuncture as the control group (acupuncture group, B). The results showed basic cure in 31 cases, remarkable effect in 5 cases, effect in 3 cases, failure in 1 case and the total effective rate of 97.5% in Group A, and basic cure in 16 cases, remarkable effect in 6 cases, effect in 3 cases, failure in 5 cases and the total effective rate of 83.3% in Group B. There was no significant difference ( P > 0.05 ) in the therapeutic effect and there was a significant difference (P < 0. 01 ) in the curative rate in the two groups. The therapeutic effect was obviously better in Group A than in Group B.

AIM To study the relationship between the response of hypertension patients to Adalat and the C825T polymorphism of the GNB3 gene. METHODS 554 hypertension subjects were treated with Adalat. Epidemiological and clinical data were collected. Genotypes of the GNB3 gene were measured by the PCR RFLP method. Linear and logistic regression were used to analyze the association between GNB3 genotypes and the response to Adalat. RESULTS The frequency of the 825T allele in our hypertensive group (48 4%) was slightly higher than that of the normal Chinese reported previously by Siffert W et al. (42%). The average SBP decrease after 15 days of Adalat treatment of subjects with the T allele was significantly less than that of the subjects with the CC genotype (?=-3 3, P= 0 03). Using logistic regression, the subjects with the T allele were less likely to reach good treatment result compared to those with the CC genotype (OR=0 33, P =0 02). CONCLUSION The GNB3 gene C825T polymorphism is related to the response to Adalat.

Objective To explore the mechanism of Eomecon chionantha alkaloids (ECA) against Oncomelania hupensis by means of observing the effect of ECA on the genital system of O.hupensis. Methods O.hupensis was dissected after immersed in ECA for 48 hours; the testes and ovary were took out and made for electron microscopy samples by the conventional method. The change of structure was observed by Hitach H-600 Transmission Electron Microscope. Results After immersed in ECA, oocyte of O.hupensis was obviously atrophied and spermatogonium pyknosis occured. Conclusion ECA could damage the genital system of O.hupensis seriously.
