Chemical constituents of Leonurus japonicus were isolated and purified by a combination of various chromatographic techniques including column chromatography over silica gel, Sephadex LH-20, MCI, and Rp C18. Structures of the isolates were determined by spectroscopic analysis as 10 coumarins: bergapten (1), xanthotoxin (2), isopimpinellin (3), isogosferal (4), imperatorin (5), meransin hydrate(6), isomeranzin(7), murrayone(8) , auraptenol(9), and osthol(10). In addition to compound 9, the others were isolated from the genus Leonurus for the first time. In the in vitro assay, compounds 4 and 8 significantly inhibited the abnormal increase of platelet aggregation induced by ADP.

OBJECTIVETo study the characters of chronic rhinosinusitis in patients with irradiated nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
METHODSThere were 65 cases of chronic rhinosinusitis after irradiated nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC, experimental group) and 65 cases of common chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS, control group) in the study. The visual analogue scale (VAS) was used to evaluate the intensity of subjective symptoms. Endoscopic finding was recorded and CT results were evaluated by Lund-Mackay scoring system.
RESULTSAs to the VAS, nasal secretion was significantly more severe in experimental group (7.86+/-1.62), compared with control group (5.12+/-1.32, t=10.541, P<0.01). As to endoscopic finding, middle nasal meatus were clean in 35 (53.8%) cases in experimental group, and 23 cases (35.4%) in control group (chi2=4.483, P<0.05). CT score was (7.03+/-4.63) in experiment group, and (11.42+/-3.32) in control group (t=-6.207, P<0.05). The main reason lays in lower CT score and lower involved rate of ostiomeatal complex, frontal sinus, maxillary sinus, anterior ethmoid sinus.
CONCLUSIONSThe characters of chronic rhinosinusitis in patients with irradiated nasopharyngeal carcinoma is quite different from the common CRS and different therapeutic measures should be taken.

Objective To investigate the values of320-slice CTA for the diagnosis and intraoperative application ofintracranial small aneurysms.Metbods Fifty patients with pathologically confirmed intracranial small aneurysms were selected as the study subjects from January 2012 to June 2016.All the patients underwent 320-slice CT examination, and then the diagnostic values of 320-slice CT were discussed. Results Totally 48 patients were confirmed with intracranial small aneurysms and the diagnostic accordance rate was 96%,and there was missed diagnosis in 2 patients and no patients mis-diagnosed.The results by 320-slice CTA were mostly consistent with those by pathological examination.320-slice CTA displayed the site, shape, size, aneurysm neck height and adjacent structure of intracranial small aneurysms clearly in 49 patients, and undeveloped aneurysms due to narrow entrance or intraluminal thrombosis occurred in 1 patient. Conclusion 320-slice CTA gains advantages in diagnosing intracranial small aneurysms such as non invasion and high convenience and provides basis for clinical treatment, and thus is worthy promoting clinically.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the expression of three different RASSF1 transcripts and its clinical significance in lung carcinomas.
METHODSThe mRNA expression of RASSF1A, RASSF1B and RASSF1C was detected by RT-PCR in 51 human lung cancer tissues and 51 matched normal tissues.
RESULTS1. The mRNA expression of three RASSF1 transcripts was detectable in all non-cancer tissues. However, high rate of expression loss of RASSF1A and RASSF1B existed in lung cancer tissues, which was 53.2% (2851) and 37.3% (19/51), respectively. RASSF1C was expressed in all of the tumor tissues. 2. Loss or abnormal down-regulation of RASSF1A was positively related with lymph node metastasis and TNM stage (P < 0.05) and 3. RASSF1B and RASSF1C mRNA expression was not correlated with TNM stage, histological type, differentiation grade or smoking index.
CONCLUSIONThere is a significant expression difference among the three RASSF1 transcripts in lung carcinoma. RASSF1A, closely associated with lymph metastasis and TNM stage of lung carcinoma, should be a new tumor suppressor gene.

In spite of no homology in sequences‚ Vip3A and Cry1Ia toxins of Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) share common characteristics‚ such as translocation across cell membranes after synthesis at the early stage of sporulation. The aim of the present study was to compare the regulation patterns and activities of the promoters of vip3A (P
