Chinese Journal of Disease Control & Prevention 2009;0(03):-
The virus family Arenaviridae is a diverse group of RNA viruses and includes the etiologic agents of several emerging zoonoses that are characterized by high case-fatality rates. The purpose of this article is to review the major features of the zoonotic arenaviruses from the angles of their taxonomy and classification, epidemiology and ecology, mode of transmission, clinical signs, prevention and control, etc.Which are important for the reason that viruses causing severe disease in humans are re-emerging somewhere the world.
3.The Study on Working Memory Impairment in Patients with Lacunar Cerebral Infarctions
Journal of Medical Research 2006;0(03):-
Objective To study the characteristics of working memory impairment in patients with lacunar cerebral infarctions(LCI).Methods 42 patients proved by clinics were chosen, and divided into two groups:multiple and single LCI groups, versus left, right and double side infarction groups.Their working memory status were evaluated and compared with Digit Ordering Test,Corsi block task,House Visual Span Test and Stroop Digit Counting Test. All scores were analyzed statistically.Results(1)All scores of the four types of Tests in multiple LCI group were significantly lower than those in single group(P0.05).Conclusions Multiple LCI is closely related to working memory impairment.Left brain infarction may induce verbal working memory impairment, and right infarction may induce spatial working memory impairment, but object working memory impairment may related to double side of brain infarction. It suggested that in the physiological structure, different components of working memory regions had dissymmetrical effect in two sides of brain.
4.Evaluation of the undoubled-blind design in the clinical trial of Chinese herb
Chinese Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics 1999;0(04):-
Bias in undoubled blind design in the clinical trial of Chinese herb affects the evaluation of efficacy and safety. With two examples, the paper recommended a "segregation" technique to minimize the bias in investigators during undoubled blind trial. The results showed that this method combined other strict means can achieve the conclusions the same as a double blind trial.
5.Uncontrolled factors of blood pressure in essential hypertension: from "patient's high blood pressure" to "hypertensive patient".
China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2014;39(7):1329-1334
Hypertension is a significant medical and public health issue which puts an enormous burden on health care resources and the community. It is a chronic medical condition in which the systemic arterial blood pressure (BP) is elevated. Serious complications including cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases would be preventable if the rise in BP with age could be prevented or diminished. The majority of hypertensive patients require long-term treatment. Oral antihypertensive drugs, lifestyle modification including exercise and dietary modification are milestones for hypertension therapy. However, the control rate of hypertension hasn't reached the expected requirements currently. "Three lows" status quo, just low awareness, low treatment, and low control, are still the major problems confronting modern medicine. Recently, uncontrolled factors of blood pressure are widely concerned, which include insomnia, constipation, mood disorders, exogenous, etc. What's more, the control strategies of hypertension should not only pay close attention to "patient's high blood pressure", but also to "hypertensive patient". Therefore, the treatment of uncontrolled factors of blood pressure plays an important role in hypertensive therapy, which could be further research priorities.

6.Chinese classical formulas for treatment of essential hypertension.
China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2014;39(5):929-933
Essential hypertension is one of the most prevalent and important public health concerns in both westernized and developing countries. Recent studies have demonstrated that successful long-term treatment of hypertension has a significant impact on morbidity and mortality from cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) and stroke. Chinese classical formulas, which are important components of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), have been increasingly accepted by patients with CVDs worldwide. According to TCM theory and syndrome differentiation, hypertension could be categorized into 3 patterns including fire syndrome, fluid retention syndrome, and deficiency syndrome. Chinese classical formulas, including Chaihu Jia Longgu Muli tang, Tianma Gouteng yin, Zhen Gan Xifeng tang, Banxia Baizhu Tianma tang, Liu Wei Dihuang wan, etc, play an important role in the treatment of essential hypertension, which could be further research priorities.

Cancer Research and Clinic 2012;24(8):508-511
Objective To investigate the expression level of human telomerase RNA component (hTERC) and C-myc in cervical lesions. Methods Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) was applied to detect hTERC and C-myc expression in 62 cases of cervical tissue including 35 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia,8 cases of invasive cervical cancer,19 cases of inflammation as controls. Results The positive rates of hTERC on chromosome 3 in chronic cervicitis organizations,CIN Ⅰ,CIN Ⅱ-Ⅲ and cervical cancer were 5.3 % (1/19),16.7 %(2/12),87.0 % (20/23),87.5 % (7/8) (x2 =36.299,x2 =40.237,P <0.01).The positive rates of C-myc in chronic cervical inflammation organization,CIN Ⅰ,CIN Ⅱ-Ⅲ and cervical cancer were 5.3 % (1/19),8.3 % (1/12),78.3 % (18/23),62.5 % (5/8) (x2 =30.200,x2 =34.224,P <0.01 ).The differences among groups were statistically significant.hTERC had a positively correlation with C-myc expression (r =0.514,P < 0.01).Conclusion The expression of hTERC and C-myc on chromosome 3 is closely related to cervical cancer progression.

Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(08):-
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the efficacy and safety of meropenem as first choice for hospital acquired pneumonia(HAP) treatment in intensive care units(ICU) in Southwest Hospital. METHODS The usage of meropenem for the patients with HAP in ICU was studied by a prospective, open, and non-comparative trial.Prior to the clinical trial, the preliminary experiment on etiologic investigation was done through bronchoalveolar lavage and blood cultures. In the trial, all patients were treated intravenously with meropenem at a dose of 1g every 8 hours and(3 to 7 days) were established as a treatment duration period. RESULTS After the meropenem therapy,35 patients(66%) showed either cure or improvement.Mortality was 11% at the end of therapy.Clinical complications were observed in 11 patients(21%),with none of them definitely related to the study drug. CONCLUSIONS Meropenem is effective and well-tolerated as monotherapy for most HAP patients in our ICU.The low mortality rate in this study might have been attributed to the first choice use of this drug.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2006;0(08):-
It showed that the distribution of examination score was Gaussian distribution, the average score was 74.4,the paper reliability was 0.81,the difficult coefficient was 0.74 by analyzing and evaluating the quality of the examination paper of pharmacology from 2002 seven-year medical students in Central South University. Some objective questions are too difficult, while some subjective questions are too easy.According to the results of analysis,we think it better to culture the student's multi-ability in analyzing and solving questions by increasing the proportion of subjective question with some difficult coefficient and improving the teaching methods in future teaching.

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2009;25(4):258-260
Objective Probing into the "informed choice" and its features for patients in dentist clinics for the purposes of optimizing clinical practice and reducing doctor-patient disputes, for a better patient satisfaction. Methods Questionnaire are designed for a random sampling among 106 outpatients in the dentist clinic, studying the conflict, support factors and information channels of informed choices available for dentistry patients. Results The 100 questionnaires recovered indicate that patients at large are faced with conflicts in informed choice, and they tend to seek doctor's advice for comparison among different treatments. Conclusion Dental patients deserve "informed choice", as this may guide clinical practices and improve patient satisfaction, for a more harmonious doctor-patient relationship.
