Objective:To investigate the effect of search for meaning on depression and the moderating role of perspective change in college students. Methods:The participants were 1 16 college students. The hypotheses were tested by analyzing data collected at 3 time points. Search for meaning and the presence of meaning in life were measured with the Meaning in Life Questionnaire,the dimension of perspective change in Meaning-Focused Coping Questionnaire was used to assess the ability to change perspective,and depression was assessed with the Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale (CES-D). Results:The scores of perspective change was positively corre-lated with scores of meaning in life (r=0. 29 ,P<0. 0 1 ),and negatively correlated with CES-D scores (r=-0. 34,P<0. 001). The scores of perspective change moderated the relationship between scores of search for mean-ing and scores of presence of meaning in life (β=0. 22,P<0. 01 ),and this interaction effected CES-D scores through the mediation of scores of presence of meaning in life. That is,for the individuals with lower perspectivechange score (blow one standard),the score of search for meaning was negatively associated with the presence of meaning in life,with in turn increased CES-D scores,95%CI:0. 07 -033;among the individuals with higher per-spective change scores (above one standard),there was no mediation effect. Conclusion:The results suggest that perspective change could moderate the relationship between search for meaning and meaning in life,which in turn buffers depression. The findings imply the potential positive role of perspective change in the process of searching for meaning in life among university students.

Objective To discuss the treatment effect of ginseng polysaccharide injection auxiliary GP chemotherapy for patients with non-small cell lung cancer.Methods 130 cases of patients with non-small cell lung cancer from June 2011 to June 2013 were randomly divided into two groups, 65 cases in each group.The control group was given gemcitabine and cisplatin treatment.The observation group were treated with ginseng polysaccharide injection on the basis of the control group.After 3 months of continuous therapy, the therapeutic effect, T-lymphocyte subsets, adverse events, quality of life scores of the two groups were compared, and survival in two groups of patients were also compared after 1 year follow-up.Results The total efficiency and clinical benefit rate in observation group were 58.5%, significantly better than the control group ( 41.5%) , the difference was statistically significant (χ2 =3.72, P<0.05);CD3, CD4 and CD4 /CD8 in observation group were significantly higher than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (t =5.735, 7.885, 7.326, P<0.05), whereas CD8 was significantly lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (t=2.442, P<0.05).The main adverse reactions of the two groups of patients during treatment were myelosuppression (WBC and platelet decreasing and anemia ) and gastrointestinal reaction.Score of life quality in observation group was ( 71.5 ±12.9 ) after treatment, significantly higher than the control group (64.2 ±12.2), the difference was statistically significant (t=3.315, P<0.05).1-year survival rate in the observation group were 63.1%, and 52.3% in the control group.Conclusion Ginseng Polysaccharide injection auxiliary GP chemotherapy for non-small cell lung cancer has significantly efficacy, enhances immunity, reduces side effects, better quality of life.

: AbstractObjective: To explore the effect and mechanism of curcumin on human T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) cell apoptosis induced by Mcl-1 small molecule inhibitors UMI-77. METHODS: T-ALL cell line Molt-4 was cultured, and the cells were treated with different concentrations of curcumin and Mcl-1 small molecule inhibitor UMI-77 for 24 h. The MTT method was used to detect the cell survival rate after different treatment; According to the results of curcumin and UMI-77, the experimental settings were divided into control group, curcumin group (20 μmol/L curcumin treated cells), UMI-77 group (15 μmol/L Mcl-1 small molecule inhibitor UMI-77 treated cells) and curcumin+ UMI-77 group (20 μmol/L curcumin and 15 μmol/L Mcl-1 small molecule inhibitor UMI-77 treated cells), MTT method was used to detect cell proliferation inhibition rate, Annexin V-FITC/PI double staining method and TUNEL staining were used to detect cell apoptosis, DCFH-DA probe was used to detect cell reactive oxygen species, JC-1 fluorescent probe was used to detect mitochondrial membrane potential, Western blot was used to detect the expression levels of apoptosis-related proteins and Notch1 signaling pathway-related proteins. RESULTS: After the treatment of Molt-4 cells with different concentrations of curcumin and Mcl-1 small molecule inhibitor UMI-77, the cell survival rate was decreased (P<0.05); Compared with the control group, the cell proliferation inhibition rate of the curcumin group and the UMI-77 group were increased, the apoptosis rate of cell was increased, the level of ROS was increased, the protein expression of Bax, Caspase-3 and Caspase-9 in the cells were all increased, and the protein expression of Bcl-2 was reduced (P<0.05); Compared with the curcumin group or UMI-77 group, the cell proliferation inhibition rate and apoptosis rate of the curcumin+UMI-77 group were further increased, and the level of ROS was increased. At the same time, the protein expression of Bax, Caspase-3 and Caspase-9 in the cells were all increased, the protein expression of Bcl-2 was reduced (P<0.05); In addition, the mitochondrial membrane potential of the cells after curcumin treatment was decreased, and the proteins expression of Notch1 and HES1 were reduced (P<0.05). CONCLUSION Curcumin can enhance the apoptosis of T-ALL cells induced by Mcl-1 small molecule inhibitor UMI-77 by reducing the mitochondrial membrane potential, the mechanism may be related to the inhibition of Notch1 signaling pathway.

There has been an ongoing search for clinically acceptable methods for the accurate, efficient and simple diagnosis and prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Optical spectroscopy is a technique with potential clinical applications to diagnose cancer diseases. The purpose of this study was to obtain the optical properties of HCC tissues and non-tumorous hepatic tissues and identify the difference between them. A total of 55 tissue samples (HCC tissue, n=38; non-tumorous hepatic tissue, n=17) were surgically resected from patients with HCC. The optical parameters were measured in 10-nm steps using single-integrating-sphere system in the wavelength range of 400 to 1800 nm. It was found that the optical properties and their differences varied with the wavelength for the HCC tissue and the non-tumorous hepatic tissue in the entire wavelength range of research. The absorption coefficient of the HCC tissue (1.48±0.99, 1.46±0.88, 0.86±0.61, 2.15±0.53, 0.54±0.10, 0.79±0.15 mm(-1)) was significantly lower than that of the non-tumorous hepatic tissue (2.79±1.73, 3.13±1.47, 3.06±2.79, 2.57±0.55, 0.62±0.10, 0.93±0.16 mm(-1)) at wavelengths of 400, 410, 450, 1450, 1660 and 1800 nm, respectively (P<0.05). The reduced scattering coefficient of HCC tissue (5.28±1.70, 4.91±1.54, 1.26±0.35 mm(-1)) and non-tumorous hepatic tissue (8.14±3.70, 9.27±3.08, 2.55±0.57 mm(-1)) was significantly different at 460, 500 and 1800 nm respectively (P<0.05). These results show different pathologic liver tissues have different optical properties. It provides a better understanding of the relationship between optical parameters and physiological characteristics in human liver tissues. And it would be very useful for developing a non-invasive, real-time, simple and efficient way for medical management of HCC in the future.

Objective To study the effect of oxymatrine (OMT) combined with radiotherapy on the growth of HO8910 cells of human ovarian cancer in vitro.Methods All human ovarian cancer samples were divided into four groups:control group,treated with culture solution; OMT group,treated with 4 mg/ml OMT; radiotherapy group,treated by 4 Gy radiotherapy; and combination group,firstly treated by 4Gy radiotherapy,and then cultured with 4 mg/ml OMT.Observed the changes of cell morphology by invert microscope at 10,24,48,and 72 hours respectively.Flow cytometry was adopted to detect cell apoptosis.Results ① invert microscope observation showed that compared with the control group,HO8910 cells demonstrated apoptosis of diminution in volume,thickening in cytoplasm,and gathering in nucleus in all the other three groups at 24 and 48 hours.② Flow cytometry showed that apoptosis rate of HO8910 cells and cell population in G1 phase increased in the combination group,which were significantly higher than the other three groups (P＜0.05).Conclusion Both OMT (4 mg/ml)and radiation (4Gy)can induce cell apoptosis,while the combination of them showed better therapeutic results.

OBJECTIVE： To investigate the characteristics and regularity of hepatotoxicity induced by quinolones， and to provide reference for clinical use of drug safely. METHODS： Using “quinolone” “floxacin” “hepatotoxicity” “hepatic injury”as retrieval words， relevant literatures about hepatotoxicity induced by quinolones were retrieved from domestic and foreign databases as CNKI， Wanfang， VIP， PubMed （during database establishment to 31th， Dec. 2017）. Those literatures were summarized and analyzed. RESULTS： A total of 59 valid literatures were collected， including 61 cases of hepatotoxicity induced by quinolones， 8 types of drugs as ciprofloxacin， moxifloxacin， ofloxacin， lomefloxacin， norfloxacin， levofloxacin， gatifloxacin and enoxacin. Ciprofloxacin， levofloxacin， moxifloxacin and ofloxacin were the most common drugs that caused hepatotoxicity， involving 19， 13， 11， 7 cases， respectively； accumulative constitute ratio was 81.97％. The ratio of male to female was 1.54 ∶ 1， and hepatotoxicity always happened at the age of 61 to 80 （30 cases， 49.18％）. Primary diseases of 46 cases were single disease （75.41％）， and mainly were infection of respiratory system and urogenital system. There were 15 cases of combined disease （24.59％）. Thirty-one cases used quinolones alone， most of which was ciprofloxacin. There were 30 cases of drug combination. Thirty-four cases were given drug intravenously and mainly were domestic cases. The hepatotoxicity first occurred within 10 minutes after administration and at the latest 8 weeks after administration. Forty-nine patients suffered from hepatotoxicity within 10 days after medication， accounting for 80.33％. Besides general fatigue， nausea and vomiting， clinical symptoms also included abnormal elevation of alanine aminotransferase， aspartate aminotransferase and total bilirubin，etc. Fifty-four patients were improved after withdrawal or symptomatic treatment， while 7 patients died. The results of causality evaluation of drug-induced hepatic injury showed that there were 4 probably association cases， 45 likely association cases and 12 possible association cases. CONCLUSIONS： The hepatotoxicity caused by quinolones is related to drug variety， patient’s age， primary disease， drug combination and route of administration， and mostly occurs within 10 days after administration. Great importance should be attached to patient’s liver function indexes， strengthen medication monitoring， and carefully combined use of drugs.

Objective To observe Shenci capsule's effect on immunologic function and hematological tox-icity of patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer.Methods 60 cases of patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer were chosen and divided into the therapy group and the control group randomly with 30 cases in each group respectively. While patients in the control group were administered simple GP chemotherapy regime, patients in the therapy group were administered Shenci capsule treatment orally in addition to the therapy in the control group.Comparisons were made of the variations in the subgroup of T lymphocyte(including the absolute val-ue of CD3+cell,the absolute value of CD4+cell,the absolute value of CD8+cell and CD4+/CD8+ratio)of hematology before and after chemotherapy between the two groups of patients. Results No significant discrepancy was found in the comparison of the absolute value of CD3+cell,the absolute value of CD4+cell,the absolute value of CD8+cell and CD4+/CD8+ratio before the chemotherapy between the two groups(P > 0.05)and the absolute value of CD3+cell,and the absolute value of CD4+cell of both groups decreased significantly after the chemotherapy(P<0.05), especially in the control group(P < 0.05). The hematological toxicity of the therapy group was lower than that in the control group(P < 0.05)after the chemotherapy. Conclusion Shenci capsule was capable of enhancing the body immunity in advanced non-small cell lung cancer and alleviating hematological toxicity.

ObjectiveTo analyze the current occupational health literacy (OHL) level and its influencing factors among drivers in transportation industry. Methods A total of 880 drivers of taxi companies, passenger transport companies, freight companies and online booking companies were selected as the research subjects using the judgment sampling method. The Occupational Health Literacy Questionnaire of National Key Populations was used to conduct a survey on their OHL levels via online questionnaires, and the influencing factors of OHL were analyzed. Results The OHL level of the research subjects was 54.32% (478/880). The OHL levels in the dimensions of occupational health legal knowledge, basic knowledge of occupational health protection, basic skills of occupational health protection, healthy working style and behavior were 55.34%, 79.55%, 58.30% and 46.25%, respectively. The results of the multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the OHL levels of drivers in passenger transport and freight companies were higher than that in taxi companies (all P<0.01). The OHL levels of drivers in private enterprises, foreign-funded enterprises, and other enterprises were lower than those in state-owned enterprises (all P<0.05). The OHL levels of drivers in large enterprises were lower than that of drivers in micro-enterprises (P<0.05). The OHL levels of drivers worked >5-10 years and >10 years were lower than that of drivers working 1-5 years (all P<0.05). Conclusion There is a considerable room for improvement in the OHL levels of drivers in the transportation industry. The category, economic type, and scale of the employing unit and driving work year of the current position are the main influencing factors of OHL levels.

Objective To investigate effect of plasma ammonia on β-amyloid(Aβ)of CSF and cognitive function in mild Alzheimer's disease(AD).Methods A total of 108 mild AD patients admitted to our hospital and 47 volunteers(HC group)were studied,the cognitive function were measured and plasma ammonia were detected.The mild AD patients were divided into normal ammonia group(ADA-group)and hyperammonemia group(ADA + group)by the plasma ammonia level.The level of Aβ42,Aβ40,total tau and phosphorylated tau protein in CSF of AD patients were detected,and the results were compared.Results Compared with HC group,the MMSE and Montreal Cognitive Assessment(MoCA)in the ADA-group and ADA + group were significantly lower(all P＜0.001).The MoCA of ADA + group was significantly lower than that of ADA-group(P＜0.001).The plasma ammonia of ADA + group were significantly higher than those of ADA-group and HC group(all P＜0.001).The levels of Aβ42 and Aβ40 in ADA + group were significantly lower than those of ADA-group(t =2.29,P =0.024;t =2.72,P =0.008).In ADA + group,the plasma ammonia level was negatively correlated with the MoCA score(r =-0.47,P＜0.001)and level of Aβ42 in CSF(r =-0.63,P＜0.001).The level of Aβ42 played a partial mediating role between the plasma ammonia level and cognitive function,and mediating effect accounted for 45.94%of the total effect.Conclusion The plasma ammonia level is elevated in some AD patients,high plasma ammonia level may reduce the Aβ42 level in CSF,contributes to Aβ42 deposition which forms the amyloid plaques,ultimately aggravates cognitive impairment.

Objective:To investigate the function of glutamatergic neuron of the parasubiculum in spatial memory.Methods:Sixteen adult male C57BL/6 mice aged 6-8 weeks were divided into two groups randomly, 0.4 μl AAV5-CaMKⅡα-eNpHR3.0-eYFP was injected into the bilateral parasubiculum respectively in experimental group, equal dose AAV5-CaMKⅡα-eYFP for control group.The optic fiber was implanted 6 weeks after virus injection.The novel object place recognition test was performed one week after optic fiber implantation, continuous yellow light was delivered during the behavioral test to inhibit the function of glutamatergic neuron in the parasubiculum.The standard memory index (D2) was used to evaluate the spatial memory function.SPSS 20.0 software was used to process the data, and the independent-samples t-test and paired-samples t-test were used for data analysis. Results:In the novel object place recognition experiment, the mice showed no preference for either object in both control group(new object: 0.51±0.06, familiar object: 0.49±0.04, t=1.21, P>0.05) and experimental group(new object: 0.49±0.05, familiar object: 0.50±0.04, t=-0.78, P>0.05). Compared with the control group (0.55±0.06), the D2 score of the experimental group (0.26±0.07) was significantly lower ( t=-2.96, P<0.05), and the number of c-fos positive neuron in experimental group (96.33±7.13) was also significantly less than that in control group (127.67±5.24, t=-3.54, P<0.05). Conclusion:Inhibiting glutamatergic neuronal activity in the parasubiculum impairs spatial memory in mice, suggesting that glutamatergic neurons of the parasubiculum play an important role in spatial memory.
